I needed help this morning for a prescription for my wife that I was told was backordered by both Walgreens and CVS. This pharmacy is so helpful for just about anything you need, including pets. And, you actually get to talk to a live person. Not only are they quick to fill prescriptions, if they don't have it they will go out of their way to get you what you need or offer alternative recommendations, and they did just that today. They will also deliver if needed. Who does that anymore except for those that truly value their customers. Unfortunately, I have to take a lot of medications now. I don't know why I didn't do this before, but after the help I received today I am transferring all my prescription needs (and my wife's) to this pharmacy. My wife already has a compound delivered like clockwork every month, so we will transfer the rest of her prescriptions. You really need to check this place out. Amazing!!!

Definitely takes away any stress or worry about her getting the medicine ahead needs without a cat fight. :) The entire staff here is so nice and helpful AND the pharmacist is incredibly knowledgeable. I was worried about HRT and he explained very clearly why I shouldn't worry and which brands of Estrogen patches to get that are safest. I trust this place 100% and it's also so conveniently located in the Golden Cove shopping center across the way from Trader Joe's.

Quite a gambit. Anyway, Carlos has the best personality. He is gracious and warm. He was prompt in meeting for the drop-off AND for returning to meet for the scooter pick-up. I called him to PLEASE pick up the scooters about 1 hour early, as we were both tired from our adventure. Carlos got to us early and with a smile. The two scooters we rented were excellent for "zipping" around the large property. The property is 207 acres, so trying to do that tour on foot was impossible for us two seniors. Really nice equipment that held it's charge. It was easy to handle indoors (in the galleries) and outdoors (commuting to and through the many gardens.)

OK, mistakes happen... I called Mini Pharmacy explaining the issue. They said they'd "look into it". A week later I called them back to see what was going on. They informed me that their "Quality Control" assures that they did in fact ship 9 sensors, and that maybe I should contact Dexcom for a replace of the defective sensors. "Defective sensors?" I asked. "Do you mean the two sensors that don't work because they don't exist?" Eventually they sent me two sensors "as a courtesy" to quiet me down. Fast forward 90 days: I get the next 90-day order from Mini Pharmacy. Nothing's going to go wrong this time, right? That problem with the last shipment was just a random screwup, right? Wrong. I open the box and... 7 sensors! I called Mini Pharmacy and the "Head Pharmacist" informed me that there were 9 sensors in the box. "And yet there were only 7 sensors in the box when I opened it?" I asked. They are now refusing to take my calls.

I was looking for an eye ointment, and the prices at the chains were super high. I called around to local mom-and-pops, and found that they sold a cheaper generic, and also would price match. So I called two, and comparison shopped. They prices were close, and they did both offer to price-match each other! So, a win for the mom and pops. I ended up going to Lorena simply because it was closer to home, and closer to where I was at the moment (in the parking lot of a big chain drug store). read more

I have personally gone without medication because a refill request was not acknowledged. A family member also waited nearly two weeks for a prescription delivery. When she went in to ask what happened, she was met with blame rather than an apology, even though the delay appeared to be on the pharmacy's end because they forgot to deliver it to our home. What was especially troubling was how staff treated her in person. After speaking with her in English, employees began discussing the situation in Spanish, apparently assuming she would not understand. I'm only writing this review now because, most recently, staff were unable to locate our patient records and prescriptions despite delivering medications to the same home for approximately eight years. When medications and patient care are involved, that level of disorganization is concerning. I genuinely do not understand how a pharmacy can be this rude, negligent, and disorganized while continuing to provide care to patients who depend on them. The ratings suggest a pharmacy that is reliable, organized, and responsive. That has not been our experience. Instead, we have dealt with delayed deliveries, poor communication, difficulty getting answers, a lack of accountability when mistakes happen, and unprofessional behavior from staff. Patients depend on pharmacies for timely access to medication. Based on our experiences, the ratings seem much higher than what the actual quality of service would justify.
