Second we were told they picked up at the Lorreto Chapel, they don't so we had to dash over several streets to catch the tour. They only take cash, having a web site could eliminate that. There were some who didn't have money, just plastic. Word of caution, these buses are difficult to get in and out of, they are like trolly cars. If you have any sort of physical disability the trip might not work for you

Our tour guide was Samantha and she did a great job. They have done a beautiful job maintaining the site and hiring local tribe members. Overall, it was great to walk through the ruins and while terrifying to get to, it was so cool to see the cliff dwellings up close. Definitely have to be moderately fit to make it down the hill but they do have the option to take the tour van they use to get us to the top back down. That said, if you don't climb down you miss the best part of the tour. I recommend wearing clothes that you can rinse off easily (I had an athletic skort on which was the perfect material to dust off).

To clarify, taking a 1-day tour of Grand Canyon from Sedona or Flagstaff does not give you enough time for hiking but it's good for enjoying the sights and taking lots of pictures. The only small complaint I had was that their drive from Sedona to Flagstaff felt a bit too rough -- the van needs better shocks, but maybe that's true with all tour vans.

They have live music in the cart which was very nice and helps set the mood. However I wanted to be outside and feel the breeze so I spent most of my time enjoying the views in the open train cart. The views are beautiful because you are overlooking the open field. The tickets are kind of pricey for what you get, especially since the ride still happens despite rain. Luckily the day I went, the weather was perfect. But you do need to gamble with the weather if you want to book tickets in advance.

Bruce is an experienced pilot with lots of knowledgeable about geology and the Navajo Indians. We flew over forests, desert, buttes, canyons, mountains, rivers and plateaus! You name it, we saw it and it was beautiful! Monument Valley was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed that ground tour. This is a tour you should not miss if at all possible.
