Every single RV Park in the Sante Fe area turned us down for after hours check in. I called 6 locations including one 45 minutes away. We showed up to Los Suenos with a prayer in our mind that they would be our chance to find a place to park our home. And let me clarify by saying that our late check in was after 6pm. Lady on the phone told me that it was $30 to dump as a non-guest, and the website clearly says $12.25 for non-guest and $25 for buses. I have a Ford Transit and only needed to dump a small gray water tank. Don't trust any rates posted on their site. read more

My husband and I stayed two nights @ los suenos, with our Labradoodle and took in the sights and culture. The RV park is very conveniently located with access to the bus line to access downtown if you don't have a car. We rented a car and left our Motorhome parked...the car rental (Enterprise) was within walking distance. They have recently reno'd a small child play and dog park area at the back of the property, super nice. The staff (Lydia) so nice too, helped myself to one of her danishes provided in the morning, . Talk about price gouging! I have been using this campground for almost 10 years for their RV dump station. Three weeks ago, on my first visit of this year, the price to rent the station was increased only slightly from last year to $12 (plus GRT). I was just there this morning to dump again, and the price had increased to $27!!! They've apparently changed their pricing model to reflect the size of your rig. I have a small Class C with only 60 gallons of waste tank capacity. User beware....this place has become a huge rip-off! read more

With high temperatures here in Santa Fe I recommend getting a back in site. The road is wide enough to easily back in even big rigs. Back in sites give you a chance of getting either morning or afternoon shade. The pull through sites don't get any shade. I saw a picture of a pool taken years ago there's no pool here. Laundry shower and bathroom is one stop "shopping". It smells pretty bad in the bathroom there's 2 toilets 2 washing machines 2 dryers and 2 showers with no place to fold clothes. read more

tthis site can't be rated it is so bad. all dirt and cement no trash near the sites you have to go out of the place to dump your trash. not very quiet two men kept driving around the place on those small golfcarts 6am to midnight, this is the worse staff very rude and all kinds of rules that dont make sense. the cost is way more then a hotel room that has all the clean quiet pleasant surroundings. if you want a dirt lot for $1700 a month plus electric charge weather 1 day or a month you get a bill and no reliable wifi. many of the hookup were broken . many of the long term residents are government employees los alamos who's rent is paid by us .taxpayers foot the bill . read more

The RV park is excellent, don't know why there are poor reviews. The location could not be better! The sites were very clean and easy to get into with a class A. The managers were very gracious and helpful for all our needs and gave great recommendations for Santa Fe. This is the third time we have stayed here and love it! read more

An ok place I guess. The location was great for access to the city. Bus stop right out front. Seniors ride for $1 and then you don't need to worry about parking downtown. The place as is hard to spot. We drove by it and when we did finally manage to find it and check in the person at the desk said many people drive by It is essentially a parking lot with rv hookups and kind of sloped side to side. No greenery between sites cause you are that close When we were there they did have a water main problem and shut the water off to all sites without giving any notice. When asked when water would be on an employee said you can use the bath house. Didn't tell us water was off in there also. It was off for most of the entire day with no warning so you could fill water tank or run down the street to get gallon jug water fill. Santa Fe has a tremendous homeless population and they are present along the Main Street where the park is located. They appear to be harmless but if you arent use to this it can be difficult Close by to many restaurants shops stores easy walking read more

This is a very small park (only 1 loop), the spaces are tight. We arrived at night and it was very sketchy. The neighbor across from our site was smoking weed, gun shots were heard down the street. And they don't tell you that they will charge extra for electricity until AFTER checkout. It's not included in your daily pricing. Thanks for a NOT so pleasant stay. read more

Not sure why they think they deserve the same rates as near by hotels, when those hotels offer clean showers (these haven't been cleaned since the last millennium), decent WiFi (constantly drops out, if you can log in at all), modern facilities (late seventies), and a gym with at least a treadmill. Neighbors are far too close, because of them packing too many spaces in their property. They even charge $45 a night for every adult over the first four. $45 a night extra, in your own trailer, with no pool, no gym, no game room, no clean towels daily, no maid service, and no continental breakfast? Turns out they charge 2x the going rate for metered electric KWh, which might be against the law, which says they can only charge the going rate plus a $2 fee, according to PRC. Today we have no water since they let the pipes freeze. RV Park 101? Now getting 54 b/s WiFi. That's bits, not kb, or mb, just 54 measly bits per second. 1984 called and wants their dial up modem back :| read more

The campground pull thru's are very close to each other. Many with sewer connection close to the neighbors picnic table. We made reservations 10 days in advance and on the way to the campground got a call. Our RV dies not fit in the back up spaces so we have to do a pull thru. We loved this spot. We stored our 31ft Travel Trailer there for the weekend while we took a trip to Taos without the rig. The staff were extremely friendly and flexible with us. They let us store our rig there without hookups for around $10/day, they let us dump and we're really kind, even though we showed up a tad late for checkout. We used GPS to find this place and there wasn't any sign out front to help find it. I paid the pull through rate and they tacked on $36.44 for electricity which made a spot for one night just shy of $100. I pulled a 22ft micro Minnie trailer and can't believe it was that much. The spot I stayed on was very close to other spots and just had rocks which my dog did not do well with. Very little trWhen we called to make reservation, we were assigned two spots together as I was traveling with my sister, but when we got there, they said our spots were separate but that they would move us together. They did give us two spots together but weird that it dropped out originally. The next day, someone came up to us and said we weren't in the system but then they found us and it was ok. So a little confusion in the office and I don't care for the metered electricity tacked on, they do state that on website but you just don't know the rate and when I called to make the reservation, no one said anything to me about the electricity charge. I'm glad this was just a 1 night stop to head home and will not be back. It taught me to ask about rates more in detail. I emailed to inquire as to why my electricity was high and they emailed back and said they would investigate and get back to me the next day. They got back to me and let me know there was an error and would credit my account! I added a star for good customer service! Thank you. I only got charged $1 and change for electricity. read more

The people that worked there were very pleasant and since we didn't have an extra car, the proximity was fabulous. Took a bus to see all of downtown. The area, though, is rough. My dog, unbeknownst to me, pied on a hypodermic needle just outside the entrance. The area in front of the park seems to be a real hotbed of bad things that happen at night. Baby clothes littered and broken down machinery and cars were in the lot. Kind of a bad first impression. Also, you should know that their sign is blown out and there is just a little one on a post in front behind a big tree. Hard to find. GPS had a hard time too. Overall we stayed three nights and it was probably too long. read more

Over-priced. Only 2 women's showers and bathroom is cramped. No hot water. Flimsy fixtures and locks. Was never told about separate billing for electricity. Great spot just a 10 minute drive from Downtown Santa Fe! Full hook ups and easy pull through or back in spaces. The entrance is somewhat hidden off of the main drag so you need to really pay attention so you don't pass it. They allowed a late check in, but when we arrived to our spot, they didn't provide the bathroom codes or wifi passwords (I really had to go after the long drive). Would definitely recommend though if you're passing through Santa Fe or checking out the city for a couple of days due to the convenience! read more

I'd rather give it 0 stars. I made a reservation on line paid the money. We get to the campground late after traveling all day to find out they didn't have our name on reservation list. So now we're traveling around Santa Fe trying to find a place to park our trailer for the night. If you're in Santa Fe it's probably the best location that you can get for proximity to food and things that you would want to do in town. The bathrooms are nice, with plenty of hot water, and the staff on site is friendly. Be aware that their nightly fees do not include electricity. When we called I made the reservation over the phone, and payed over the phone we were not informed that we would later be charged for electricity. I've stayed in hundreds of RV parks across the United States and this is the first time but I have had someone charge me after I checked out for electricity. read more

Rv Park is basically dirt lot. Very hard to find on a very busy street. If you don't read every word on site, you will never know they charge separately for electricity. I found out when they charged my card a day later. $3 per day basically. I would NOT recommend. Spaces are long enough but most have round cement bush planter making entering and exiting the space somewhat difficult. read more

Very nice campground easy in and out, pull through pretty close to our neighbors but well maintained campground. We enjoyed our visit to Santa Fe. Reasonably priced with good sams 10% discount 48.83 the only problem was the 50 amp was on the opposite side of rig so we had to use 30 amps for our 2 night stay. read more

You wouldn't know a place like this would be tucked away amongst all of the new "big box" stores that surround it. Hard to see from the street, but you get back to it and you feel a camping vibe. There's trees and dirt, walking/biking paths connected and a park type area in back. Staff was great and helpful, bathrooms and showers clean. Spots are close together but easy to back in or pull through. Good location close to downtown. read more

When I made the reservation, I was quoted $51.95 per night for a back in site. When we arrived, we were automatically assigned and billed $63.49 for a pull through site. We had to insist on our original reservation. After departing, we were billed an additional $12.67 for electric usage. We have stayed at over 1000 campgrounds. We have never been billed separately for electric for a four night stay. Furthermore, this was never disclosed during the original reservation. It is in the fine print on the reservation confirmation, which is emailed after they have your credit card and take their deposit. In addition, the water was shut off for two days. read more

Although we had an enjoyable time visiting Santa Fe, our stay at Los Suenos was far from the highlight. I don't typically submit reviews for stays unless they are particularly spectacular, or if they are so dismal I wish to warn others to look elsewhere. I'm afraid our stay at Los Suenos de Santa Fe falls into that category. Upon arriving, there was no one at the front office, nonetheless we were able to locate our name on the board and easily found the space. We settled in, and realized we neither had a restroom code nor the wifi password, 2 very critical components to what we are paying for when we rent an RV space for the night I went back to the office, tried the phone number, and no one answered. A person who said they worked there told me both items were supposed to be emailed to me, but didn't seem terribly surprised they weren't nor was he able to solve the wifi issue. We did access the restroom facilities thankfully. In terms of the rest of our stay, we made the request to be placed in a quiet and private area. Regrettably, we were placed along the eastern fence line, with a very loud mobile home park on the other side. We were in the exact location where a party raged on until midnight. There was amplified music, and loud voices, so needless to say, we didn't sleep much and had the opposite experience from what we hoped for. While I understand the RV park has no control over what goes on at neighboring properties, they could have contacted me to ensure we were OK with that space and informed us they couldn't accommodate the request, so we could have gone elsewhere. There were plenty of empty spaces, so I'm not sure why we were ironically placed on the loudest edge. I don't have much of anything positive to say about our stay, aside from the other people staying there being lovely and the dog park area being nice. As a side note, I made two attempts to reach out to the park to share my disappointment, and they never gave me the decency of a response. read more

Your spots are close to each other but it was an easy in / out pull through spots. We stayed there 2 nights, the park was fair and there's no pool, which is a bummer. We rented one of their cabins too for family that came up for the night. The railing on the cabin was broke and there were a bunch of ant piles near the concrete pad. When I made the reservation they told me they weren't far from old Santa Fe and there was a free shuttle that picked you up to take you downtown to Santa Fe. Ha! No, it is the city bus and it takes 15 minutes and you are riding with the people who ride the city bus regularly, which is fine but c'mon, I wouldn't want my kids to have to smell the drunk Indian lady who after departing the bus continued to talk to the bus driver then dropped her whiskey bottle while we all watched it shatter. Ugh. Also, the laundry is in the women's restroom, so even though my husband wanted to help with laundry, he couldn't. This is an older RV park but it's fairly clean. There is a great restaurant right across the street called Cafe El Comal. Try it. But don't jaywalk -- use the lights ($85 fine). There is also a good breakfast place right in front of the RV place if you don't want to eat in the RV -- Chris' Cafe. Overpriced, but good. Free rentals of movies. A small little pool. Basically, everything is kind of old and slipshoddy except for the newer cabins. read more

While the check in policy is very simple, and there are trash cans at every site that get emptied each morning, the rest of the grounds leave a lot to be desired. Many spots were with out power when we arrived and since it was after hours there was no one there to assist, folks were moving their trailers from spot to spot to try to find a source to hook up. We did have power in ours but there were only 5 tv channels available, the WiFi was bad and the playground for the kids was unkept, looked a little scary and definitely out-dated. The one covered Ramada they have for guests to use is loses and only available for private bookings? That was strange. Anyway I did visit the store here and there was a lot to shop from clothing to RV supplies to groceries to games. If their prices were more competitive, we'd think about coming to This one again, shouldn't be charging full price with not many amenities to offer. read more

We enjoyed our stay here. The folks at the office were very nice. The park was older and pretty basic, but had plenty of room for te largest rigs in the middle row. You can access the bike paths right out the back. This park is well located near the main shopping areas and the Plaza. read more

As an employee of the park (maintenace)...I would like to rebut many of these complaints and unwarranted comments. First...this is a very old park...built at a time when the vehicles and campers were quite a bit smaller than what we are seeing these days...therefore the infrastructure is taking a heavy hit. We do our best to maintain and upgrade as we go along. There are bound to be issues from time to time...as anyone who has ever actually worked in an rv park can tell you. As for hooking up water and having sewage come up...I can tell you that not only would that be impossible as they are two separate lines totally unrelated to each other...but had that complaint ever come across...it would have been looked into with diligence and fixed if so needed. The staff here care a great deal about the park and do everything in their power to ensure the comfort and security of the guests here. We have had some trouble with the laundry facilities...which are in both restrooms by the way and not just the womens...those issues however have been resolved. As stated before...we do a great deal of repairs when they need to be done and we try our best to maintain and upgrade whenever the need arises. As for price gouging...I have never seen this take place. There are certain sites and certain circumstances that will bring a slightly higher rate than others. But the reality is that the rates here are still well below the average for the area compared to other parks. read more

We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years or so. Bathrooms are clean, people are nice and location is great. We can walk to Starbucks, lots of good restaurants and Regal cinema. We bike from right behind the campground (there is a paved trail that goes to a mile or so from the Plaza-then easy weave through town on residential streets for last mile). Rear spaces (back in) are roomy with picnic tables if you don't mind a stroll to the restrooms. We like #33. Price is right. read more

We stayed here 2 nights on our recent trip to Santa Fe and it worked out quite well. We are gone during the days and only at the RV Park, really, to sleep, shower, dump the tank and fill up with fresh water. The place is clean, the manager is very friendly and the location is close enough to downtown. The WIFI was pretty weak so we had to spend a lot of time at Starbucks down the road. We did not have reservations and drove in on Memorial Day weekend and we got a spot for two nights. Good place. read more
