The one who I read had openings was not my first choice, so I was led to believe that another doctor, whose online bio appealed to me, would be shown the form I filled out and I'd get a response. So, I never got a response. I called in June to remind her and was told "the doctor was on vacation" blah blah blah. She promised she would show the doctor my inquiry and I'd hear back either way. This didn't happen. That conversation was on June 5th and it is now over a month later. I give up on this practice. How can you be offering "concierge" medicine which is supposed to devote extra time to patients and completely ignore a potential new patient who is willing to jump in and pay the practice MONTHLY whether being seen or not? They definitely didn't know everything, no one can, but they became arrogant and gaslight me significantly and it made medical PTSD spiral. Also, no provider in my opinion should tell a patient they can't have celiac disease going off of gluten antibody testing alone, especially when there was no gluten trial and only occasional accidental exposure. I was only concerned about cross contamination at that point, I already knew I can't eat gluten. Yet I was told I couldn't have celiac disease and I believed them at the time. I even tried to force eating gluten again because of their comments about it causing me diarrhea when I was constipated at the time, like it was a good thing helping my GI and suggesting I made myself constipated by not eating gluten containing grains. That really messed with my head for sometime. But in reality, they should have checked for celiac genes too. It runs in my immediate family.

I was not the "recipient" of medical care, I was a "participant" in my own medical care, feeling fully involved and "invested" in all the decisions pertaining to my treatment. I frequently had to wait in the waiting room to see him for a long-ish period, but I forgave that every time because I knew he was giving to someone else the same outstanding care I would always get...this man is extraordinary. He is compassionate, funny and a brilliant Physician, what more do you need? As a Teaching Physician he stays abreast of the latest treatment options, so you can trust his judgement. However, if you wish to be a partner in treatment decisions, he is willing to spend some time with you discussing the best options for YOU. Sometimes you may need to wait for him because he is taking the time each patient needs, no matter how heavily he is booked. That is a small price to pay for me; I want each patient to get the time that it takes to give them the level of care that I get from Dr. Beers.

When I shared that the insurance web site lists her as accepting new patients the attendant yelled: "SHE'S NOT SEEING NEW PATIENTS!" Dr Yeggy may be wonderful, but her office staff are horrific and not worth the bother.

She made it clear to me that (1) I was an idiot for not knowing the exact dosage of it and that (2) she was the only person I could talk to. On Friday evening I went to the pharmacy and was told by a woman I know well and trust that the prescription was "never phoned in". As I said, this was a Friday night, and I was running out. I called Hallie back on Monday and asked why it wasn't phoned in. She said "you didn't phone it in until Friday" I promptly corrected her, and SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called the office supervisor, Julie and left a polite message message for her to call me back. She failed to do so THREE TIMES. There is no excuse for this behavior.. They have mis-diagnosed, not been able to diagnose or denied coverage on EVERY SINGLE issue I've ever come to them with. They even missed my broken leg FOR MONTHS! Throughout that horror show they treated me like I was seeking drugs. Nope, just in agonizing pain BECAUSE MY LEG WAS BROKEN, stupid Provi-dump. I finally had to go to an outside doctor who was helping with several of my issues including pain management (NOT using big pharma by the way) and then, with less than 30 days notice, Provi-change-the-rules-mid-stream-dence, announced that they will no longer accept any outside network referrals. So, I was finally getting the help I so desperately needed, somewhere other than Provi-dump, only to be cut off by the devilish hacks. I used to think Kaiser was the worst but Provi-dunce is undeniably the most inept, corporate mentality (profit over everything else), scumbags I've ever dealt with in my life. PS They also almost killed my neighbor by giving him C-diff from a simple outpatient surgery. They are dirty from top to bottom.
