I recently bought a house in Brentwood, a suburb of Los Angeles in Beautiful Southern California, Thanks to Lori Goldsmith and although right after seeing the property I flew back to Texas, Lori made the entire process smooth with no hick-ups. Without her wise advice, I would have missed a great chance on owning this property and would have paid WAY more for the next available similar property.
In a matter of 1 day, Lori arranged for me to see the place before the open house. I had to fly out that same night and as crazy as this sounds, Lori Goldsmith stayed in contact with me after I landed at 12am Monday in San Antonio and helped me draft an offer on the property.
The next morning, she gave me strong advice on what to do (there were multiple offers and other strong interests coming in) while I was busy at work. In a short time we were able to come to a very strong offer that I was happy with. Lori advised me strongly on terms and price.
When my offer was accepted, I thought I could sit back, what did I know, this is the first time I ever bought a house, but Lori quickly had me get her everything in order and take advantage of every opportunity I could to get great bank rates, home inspectors, insurance rates (She has a bunch of great resources on hand that I found very competitive.
She stayed on top of time lines and reminded me of timelines, warned me about weekends and holidays during the summer month that could stop me from getting my part done in closing the deal and one thing that she also did was explain to me how much value this house has and what I could achieve with my vision.
I did feel awful when I would forget to reply to her emails/calls/ messages as she waited patiently for me to perform my duties, but like a mentor/mother/father/best-friend, Lori immediately reminded me when I was pushing it too close on financials, signing of papers or on inspections. I really appreciate her honesty. She truly was looking out for my best interest and now looking back, I realize how on point she was.
Lori, I truly appreciate all the attention to the details and your availability throughout this process (I'm sorry for bugging you late night and early mornings (I'll blame that on the Texas/CA time difference), but you were there round-the-clock. Thank you for helping me realize my goal -- It was the first house on my list and you got it for me! I will definitely be reaching out to you in the future for my next home. Right now, I'm absolutely loving this place!
Thank you Lori!
