Earlier in the day I was at a meeting where they brought in lunch and I had the Fresh Greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing / it was so good!! It had spinach, chicken pieces, cheese, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges and green olives - I love green olives. All in all I highly recommend.

Anyway, I ordered at @5:50 pm and was told that the pizza would arrive in about an hour, give or take. At 7:15, the pizza had not arrived, so I called to ask about the delay. I was told, with apologies, that they were very busy and only had two drivers, but it should only be another 20-25 minutes. 40 minutes later the pizza still had not arrived. I was getting ready to call again when the driver pulled up. Now, I have no issues with the person who fielded my calls nor with the driver - they were both pleasant, courteous young women who were as helpful as possible under the circumstances. My issue is with a management who, knowing it was their busiest night, didn't provide adequate staff. This is an unacceptable level of managerial ineptitude. So basically, good food, excellent staff, inept management.

Cheese Importers is a Colorado family-owned business founded in 1976. They offer natural, organic,…read moreand imported cheeses, cured meats, specialty oils, spices, olives, chocolate, and other unique specialty foods. They also have wonderful French & Italian food items, and kitchen and dining ware. There are children's gifts, beeswax candles, gift wrap, gorgeous jigsaw puzzles, glassware, French table linens, aprons, and much, much more. It is worth the experience to visit this extraordinary shop! The building was formerly the Power & Communications Building, which Cheese Importers took over in 2012. The shop is gorgeous, and the buyers are fantastic, stocking it with so many beautiful items that you will not easily find in other shops or online. The staff is friendly and informative. The prices are very high, and I don't recommend buying items you can find in your local grocery store or gift shop, but if you find interesting, unique, and beautiful items that you love, then it is worth spending the money, in my opinion. This is a great place to find exceptional gifts, especially for someone who likes to entertain. Must take home a fresh French baguette and some caramels! There is a parking lot in the rear of the building.

But the market feel, the variety, the customer service, patio, cute atmosphere, selection, and warm baguettes made it quite the experience. We were impressed and I would drive all the way from Littleton to experience it again. We basically built ourselves a little picnic and sat outside on the patio to enjoy it all. Bring your own plates, utensils if you plan on doing what we did. We made do with the plastic knives and napkins from the bakery, but it would have been better if we came more prepared. Lovely.

Will be back (and again and again, but shhh! You should go before everyone finds out about it). People 10/10. Real, kind, generous. And with fun tidbits of conversation and humor. Ambiance: excellent for breakfast or brunch with friends, working solitary on your laptop, having a quick sandwich on the rooftop patio, or a work meeting (in-person would be nice because the velvet couches are legit). I really liked the attention to details (such as the hooks for hanging a purse under the countertop). Cool decor and the vibe is like somebody oversized den, but instagram-worthy, you know? Check out the little store; they have cookbooks, cards, adorable kitchen towels and such, preserves and so on!

The two highlights (neither of which I captured in pictures) were the mortadella sandwich (with mayo and what I think was pistachio) - EXCELLENT. It was a little pricey at $14 but a simple and hearty lunch. The other stand out item was their brownie - It was a mix of a little lava cake and chocolate fudge - again a little pricey but of all the things I got it was worth every penny. There is a walk up/take-away area and a sit down area that was charming. Parking is not always easy in the area but worth the struggle. I was extremely impressed and will be returning regularly.
