But, sold out:( you pay for everything and the. Bring to your server and they put it all on a charcuterie board and bring to your table. I really enjoyed their Chardonnay on this rather hot day. People were dancing, drinking, eating and socializing. It was great! the wildflowers on the grounds are so beautiful! They have games to play. And dogs are welcome! Check out all my photos. I think it would have been nice to offer fresh Apples, pears or grapes in the store for the charcuterie boards. You have to try their soft Jalapeno cheese in the cold case!!! It was delish w/the crackers from Rustic oven. I loved the store... the 2 guys who do the treasures with grapevines are incredible. I can't wait to take a class. Farmer John's really spent time and resources making upgrades to everyone's experience when they visit. One of the most noticeable improvements was the concrete paths that have been poured, circling the attractions. This makes the farm completely stroller friendly and so much easier for moms with young kids. My daughter also got to do the pony ride which was such a special treat for her. I should also note that it was only $15 to get in. We went to another pumpkin patch here in the valley that charged just as much, but had way less attractions, amenities and things to do. They charge $15 to get in, but it was discounted to $12 per person since we went on a weekday. My daughter is almost 2 years old, and the main attraction that she was interested in the animals. Since it was not too busy, she also got to enjoy the giant pillow bouncer. We ran through bales of hay, played in the corn pit, and enjoyed some fresh homemade pumpkin bread from the snack shack. Overall, we had a great time despite being able to utilize many attractions since she wasn't old enough. I would say that the rest of the attractions would be perfect for ages three and up. I should also mention 2 & under are free, so there's quite a bit got a two year old to do considering. We hung around for over two hours having fun as a family, until the mosquitoes started coming out after sunset, If you're local to the area, I definitely think it's worth the visit! The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition.
