It's that time of the year again and we were looking for a pumpkin patch mixed with a corn maze for adults. The location is right off highway 5 and easy to get to. I was very impressed with the corn maze and it was so much fun. We were given a map of the maze. Throughout the maze are 12 checkpoints, and if we reached each of these checkpoints and got the stamp specifically for each, we were to receive a free pumpkin each. There are two mazes with six checkpoints within each. It took us about 45 mins but seemed a lot longer because I got so lost. The corn is about eight feet tall and when you are in the maze, the map becomes extremely helpful. Suggestion is to make sure you have a bottle of water while trekking through the map and try not to go in the middle of the day because it got quite hot. There were other little activities for the family. There were goats to pet, jumpy machine, a hay pyramid, two different tractor rides, corn shooters, and slides. For the little ones, there are two smaller mazes with one being big enough that strollers can be pushed through. All the pumpkins were laid out beautifully in their courtyard and we got to pick out whichever one we liked. There was a good selection of pumpkins in varies sizes, white ones, small ones, and oddly shaped ones. Highly recommended for adults and families of all sizes. We met another family with grown children who were have a race to find all the checkpoints in the corn mazes to spice of their adventure. Just make sure to bring water!

They've got the pumpkins spread around and it makes for perfect photos.

Small pumpkin patch. It has a few games and rides. What's nice is that's it's not overly crowded like other places. So I prefer this place over the highly populated pumpkin patches.

Huge corn maze, it would take a few hours of your day! But they also had fun little rides and slides, a goat petting zoo, a corn pool and tons of pumpkins! Cute little spot to stop and stretch your legs on a road trip or a family day with young kids. Our favorite game there was a zombie paintball shooting range. They even had a tent with educational information about corn and how it grows and some history of the town. Lots of nice pumpkins to choose from, too.

We went early on Wednesday the pumpkin patch was empty and it was just my little brother and I. We got greeted by a very nice lady she was so sweet and kind to my 4 year old brother and I. I paid 8 dollars since my brother is four he got in for free. The young man who helped us a lot was really kind and quite handsome he was tall and had colored eyes he was the only one there since it was still early. I loved my experience coming here

Such a fun corn maze! Love coming here and I decided to do a few photoshoots for a client, which came out perfect!

So cute. Loved the "shooting ranges" and the corn maze. My daughter liked the hay ride and the corn kernel pit. We will defiantly return year after year. Very much worth the drive

    In the haunted corn maze....

Some of the best apricots I have had. Short season, but if you get there when they are being picked, you are in for a treat.

Does anyone know if the drive through haunted house is any good?

When my daughter and I went, we enjoyed it. It's totally what you make of it. They make sure you get time with each "room" and the actors do their best for it being drive-thru. We turned on scary music and really tried to be open to being scared, I…

The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. You can tell how much they care about their animals and sharing what they know with kids. Such a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to come back again with my youngest for his field trip!

Unfortunately, the experience quickly changed due to the rude behavior from the owners. During our visit, the owner yelled at the children - YELLED. This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

Realize the kids are gonna be at the Silo entrance further down so trek back to car and drive there. Grab my large jacket and thankfully mine and the kid's lunch in a foil cooler shopping bag and my now only half filled (with water) 40 oz Stanley. The trek from my car to the silo entrance to the kids meeting point inside was LONG. It felt like I had come from hot yoga at this point with all the walking and sun now coming out. It was the beginning of some regrets. But glad I grabbed everything because there was no going back to the car at this point with car over a miles away. Heavy jacket stayed tied around my waist for the rest of the day like a bag of heavy rocks. Add to this the shiny foil bag and my nearly empty 40 oz Stanley with no water fountains in sight. Aside from my large load I toted around all day, the activities around this pumpkin patch are very fun and plentiful. The haunted house is very scary and some little kids will cry from it so be warned. The staff were nice. I understand they want us to buy water but that is where I took away the star because no water fountains. I was chaperoning and some kids were thirsty and I said let's keep an eye out for a water fountain. We never found one. Overall though this place is cool like a mini Disneyland for Pumpkin Farms. Was pleasantly surprised!

This was our first trip to G&M Farms in Livermore and it was incredibly special and actually quite the fun surprise off the freeway. As we were coming home from a night away, we wanted to stop and have a moment with our little amongst the pumpkins and support an East Bay pumpkin patch. As we were about to pass Livermore, we saw signage and oodles of fun happening for G&M Farms so we pulled off. There is so much to do here! You can grab a red Radio Flyer wagon and truly go hunting for the perfect pumpkin within the patch itself, or if you're on the hunt for more smaller pumpkins/gourds there is a whole gift shop/farm store that is so incredibly cute for basically every pumpkin vibe you can imagine. Plenty of spots to stop and take pictures with friends or family. There's a corn maze, drinks/snacks like mini donuts, popcorn, and corn dogs, and speaking of corn..oh-em-gee! Truly wanted to share a review for this reason alone. Looking for a sensory activity for your little? There is not a sandbox, but a giant CORN box for play. The adults also tried it (essentially we just put our feet in and it felt surprisingly really nice. Something unexpected and truly unique, fun, and interactive. We also noticed a few other activities on the pumpkin patch side like a tractor/train ride and I'm not sure if there was a petting zoo? Regardless, worth a trip if you haven't made your pumpkin haul yet. Plenty of room for strollers and very spread out. Can't wait to make the corn box an annual tradition. Looking forward to truly enjoying the patch next year with more time. Thank you G&M Farms for the memories! Still finding little corn kernels ;)
