I spent a ridiculous amount of time 'researching' mattress alternatives online. Needed to replace a once wonderful expensive mattress that had, after 20 years (!) gone to the sag side. Finally, after weeks of waffling over what to buy, I made an appointment to meet Lori at her shop. Lori presented the mattresses she thought would fit my sleeping habits and my quirky requirements. I bounced from one bed to the next after pretending to nap. Lori owns and operates her mattress business. Lori is a pro. She knows the lines she carries and can speak knowledgeably to her product and the variances between brands models and effective pricing. Recently purchased a new mattress from Lori's and very happy. Love seeing a good selection of products to choose from, other than big box stores and mattresses made in China. At Lori's all are made in the USA. With this mattress there were no off gases (like the junk made in China). After a couple days (me just adjusting to a new bed), I'm snoozing all night. True to my preference to shop locally I ended up Lori's. It would be hard to be happier with the experience. I went to Lori's several years ago and checked things out, but for some reason got my mattress elsewhere. BIG mistake! I am like the princess and the pea and have been having a challenge finding the right mattress that fits my price range and my finicky back. A friend commented that I buy mattresses like some women buy shoes. True, but that is now ended with my recent purchase through Lori. Make sure to call if it is closed, she works often by private appointment, and is very accommodating. She also carries organic mattresses at half the cost you would pay at another store. We purchased today and she is going to deliver at no extra charge. We really appreciated the private appointment she set up with us, allowing us to test the beds (lay around on different ones for as long as we wanted).
