The thing that is guaranteed when you walk into a mattress store, you'll get the full attention of the staff. Ross was knowledgeable and helpful selecting a mattress that fits me. He didn't show me the most expensive one right away. He asked me how I sleep and what I was looking for in a mattress. Once I found the one that fitted me, he threw in some deals and we were on our way. I live San Francisco, and accommodated it to be delivered there. Don't know the next time I'll be buying a mattress after this, but I would probably come back here. Update: The delivery was a bit confusing. I bought a mattress from them five years ago on an adjustable frame. It wasn't cheap. The bed constantly shifted down so every morning I had to pull the mattress because it would slide down. Every morning it was about a foot down. The frame recently developed a huge lump of about 16 inches round. You can visibly see it from the other side of the room. I spoke to them about it and they said it was still under warranty. I might be able to get some money toward a new bed. They said they would send somebody out to inspect the mattress. the person that came out never notified me that they were on their way. they texted me and said they were a half hour late getting to my place and they would get there as soon as they could. I had no idea they were actually going to be coming until I got the text. The person came out, took some pictures and did some kind of measurements. When I called the store to find out, I was told that it was only measured three-quarter of an inch high and it had to be an inch and a half high. they also noted that there were some stains on the bed from coffee that I spilled a while ago. The coffee did not cause the huge lump in my bed. I cannot sleep on the bed. It is very uncomfortable because there is a huge lump. They did nothing to help me. I'm told that this is the national standard but I find that this is really wrong. I think they sold me on mattress that was not supposed to be on that frame and that's why that lump developed. read more

I came in on specific mission tonight and was greeted by Neal who knew his mattresses and explained support material in detail. I knew what I was after, Aireloom mattresses, made in California. I understand they have the best selection of Aireloom including the pillow top versions. Neal encouraged me to lay on several Airelooms then compare those to the memory foam tops. (Aireloom uses latex, much different feel). I also laid upon Sealy Black, as a good comparison, and that helped feel the difference between memory foam and latex. March Madness sale going on now has the Aireloom discounted to approx. $3500 so it's now just a matter of sealing the deal. My grandma bought a bed from here in 2018 that she loves, but she recently fell and broke her wrist and could no longer get into the bed because of how high it is off of the ground. I went to Mancinis for help. Ben Dooley went above and beyond to ensure that my grandma was able to sleep in her bed again as soon as possible. Not only did he problem solve with me both in person and over the phone, but when he realized the next day that the needed item (a lower bed frame) was delivered to his store instead of to my grandmas house, he personally drove the frame to us and installed it. We are beyond grateful for the care that Ben showed in his work for us. It was as if he was caring for his own grandmother. He's a perfect combination of being low-key, attentive and helpful all at the same time. Ben took the time to listen to what my husband and I both wanted in a mattress. He asked about some things we hadn't thought of. He spent a huge amount of time with us. We never felt pressured or like we were running out his shot clock. He understands and is straightforward about the pros and cons of his stock relative to our preferences, based on his knowledge and the feedback he's gotten from customers. He made us feel like he wanted to be sure he sold us the right bed for us. Our bed arrived today. My husband and I bought a mattress (Serta Perfect Sleeper Sedgwick II Plush Pillowtop Queen) at the Mancinis in Santa Rosa back in May of 2020.  While it was admittedly a strange time to buy a mattress --during a pandemic --when customers were not allowed to test out the merchandise before purchasing--we had just purchased a vacation rental and needed to furnish it ASAP and start renting it out to start recuping some of our investment.  I was assured by the friendly customer service rep. that the mattress I was purchasing, sight unseen, would be a medium range soft/firm mattress and was a well regarded model and brand. The mattress arrived, it seemed to be of good quality, the house got rented and for a while there weren't any negative guest reviews. Fast forward 15 months later we started noticing it felt noticeably softer in the middle section and shortly thereafter the negative reviews started coming in.  One guest actually hit the nail on the head when she stated "the mattress felt as though it had completely collapsed in the middle".  Fortunately, we were taking the rental off the market for a month at which point I contacted Mancinis to discuss my concerns.  The friendly cheerful salesperson said that they could send a 'third party mattress inspection company' (Integrated Bedding Group?) out to determine whether the mattress had a structural defect and if it did--they could credit some or all of the mattress.   The inspector came, assessed the integrity of the mattress, and informed us that we should hear back from Mancinis in a few days.  After not hearing back from Mancinis I called and left a message for the store manager, Ben, to call me back with an update.  There was no return call and after calling two more times I was finally successful in getting hold of Ben when he was there and not so surprisingly, he declared that the mattress inspector determined the mattress had collapsed by 1 1/4 but not the 1 1/2 required for any kind of credit.   Ben did state however, he would email the manufacturer and appeal my claim since the mattress was only 15 months old.  Another week went by of playing hide and seek with Ben when I finally tracked him down and learned that he had heard back from the manufacturer who declined my appeal and that there was nothing they could --"our hands are tied!"  since while their mattress was defective, it wasn't defective enough.  Ben did suggest however that we could continue using the mattress another 6 months with the hopes that it would collapse by another 1/4 inch and have it reinspected again?? In an effort to take my complaint to the next level, I called the corporate offices in Livermore and attempted to reach the regional manager for the Santa Rosa office and left messages on 3 separate occasions but received no call back.  I then called corp. offices again and asked to speak to the regional mgr.'s manager and left messages on two separate occasions but received no call back. I get the importance of having a system in place where a mattress' premature deterioration can  be quantified but by the across the board shoddy customer service received from Mancinis I can only assume this so called 'independent analysis' is designed to keep unhappy customers at bay and is most likely anything but objective and independent. If Mancini's was a respectable company they would have at least offered me some sort of discount on a replacement mattress when the report came back showing significant deterioration on a mattress that was only just over a year old. read more

We had a great experience at this Santa Rosa Mancini's Sleepworld. They have a complete product selection for mattresses, foundations and even bedroom furniture. Their prices are competitive. We found that they seemed to have the best values of the local mattress stores. But the best part of our shopping experience was with the service they provided to us. Specifically Ben was our salesperson. He greeted us politely and let us roam a while. When we were ready to talk, he expertly guided us through the various options for mattresses. From transitional mattresses through memory foam styles. Ben was helpful to understand our sleep requirements and narrowed the selection to a couple of brand options. When we finalized our choice, Ben was helpful to explain what to expect with the new memory foam mattress. We ended up choosing a adjustable foundation also, but not from any sales pressure. I came in on the 13th looking for a new mattress. When I walked in the store was empty and there was one sales rep behind the counter on the phone. Once he was finished he put a mask on and formally introduced himself as Jason. I relayed that I was looking for a Cal King around $700 and just wanted to see some options as I was just starting to look around. He showed me two beds downstairs and then one upstairs that was around my price range but did not give me too much information on what Mancini offered. When I inquired about a mattress I saw online he said he was just filling in at this store and wasn't too sure where he would find that mattress in this store's layout. Overall left the store feeling like I had not learned a single thing about one mattress and that I was back to square one with my search for a new one. Mattress Firm will be getting my business since their sales rep actually gave me information on each mattress I was shown vs just the price. When I spend $6000 on a bed and I am told that sheets will be included in the delivery - I expect that to occur and that I won't be left sleeping on a bare mattress. Guess what. They didn't deliver the sheets. And of course the bed is not anything like the floor model. Multiple phone calls and texts to the sales rep Sean Moore and all I get is whiny B.S. - promises of delivery - lies about delivery and still no sheets 3 weeks later. Keep going down the block - there's at least 5 other mattress stores - maybe someone comprehends what customer service means. I get that its easy to mess up on including all of the accessories with the initial delivery. I don't appreciate getting blown off once the sale is complete and not delivering that which is included in the exorbitant price. read more

Well, I was dreading the task of replacing our beds, which are LONG overdue to be replaced. You know this when you sleep in a great bed at a hotel and then return home to your slouchy, misshapen lair. We went to Macy's a few months ago and saw some absurd prices on mattresses ($5000?), overseen by a teen who really didn't know a thing about the department. Every time I do mattress research on the web, I get a headache and stop. Time to go local. Mancini's is a huge space of beds and here's the wonderful part. The sales people are nice and they know things that I actually could understand. Nicolas was great to walk around with. No high pressure stuff. We bought two beds in less than a half hour, and he matched the sale price at Macy's with no hassle. Mancini's delivers free--within days for us. So we just purchased our 4th mattress from Mancini's Sleepworld. We could not be happier with the service, patience and knowledge that we get from the manager Ben. Having upgraded from a Queen to a King was a process that I must admit tried my patience incredibly as my wife will teeter-totter for months on end over any given decision. Even through our yes, no, we'll think about it back and forth (we seriously went back about 6 times over the course of nine months) Ben was incredibly patient and understanding. He sold us our fist bed as a couple, our children their current beds and now a decade later our new bed.
