One thing that really stood out to me: I bought a chair online from a different manufacturer that Sonoma Furniture doesn't even carry, and the manufacturer sent me a taller replacement cylinder for it. I didn't want to hire a handyman because I wanted someone who actually knows furniture to do it properly, so I asked if they could help. I even offered to pay, but Kirk, the owner, replaced it for me as a favor. That kind of generosity and customer care is incredibly rare. I thought that this was the kind of customer complaint that would warrant a refund (selling a product that is mislabeled!), so I went back and asked for one. Well, they were extremely difficult and didn't even apologize. LAME again! So then I pretty much demanded a refund. It got a bit ugly. They actually pulled out a measuring tape and measured it (as if I would have lied about it!) and then measured it again until finally they agreed that it was an inch too long. Even after the that, the misery drug on and on. Yes, if I need to, I will ask for your manager and your manager's manager until I get my money back, so just save yourself the trouble and give me my money back already!!! ;) Finally got my money back. But I have never seen a less customer service oriented retailer and it pretty much sealed the deal that I will never go back.

It looks like a lot of rejects because the styles are old and the colors are limited. I only bought a couple of items and neither of them were on my list. Funny how that happens. I went in looking for a new comforter and left with a small rug for in front of the bedroom sink and a vinyl tablecloth for camping. They always have sales and I'm sure their stock rotates, but I wouldn't make the 46 mile round-trip just for this store. I decided to order what I wanted online.
