I had a great experience at this Los Amigo's location! I came in from out of town and upon recommendation of family went to the Lone Oak location. I hate to be the person that shows up 30 min before closing but didn't have another option. We came towards the end of the night from the local hospital and were warmly welcomed by the staff. To my surprise, it was still quite busy! We were quickly seated and brought menus. I enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and not too salty. The salsa was pretty standard restaurant style and tasty! Our food was promptly served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I got an order of the chicken fajitas and they did not disappoint. It was an absolutely huge portion or chicken with peppers and onions. The portion of refried beans, rice, and fajita toppings was very hearty as well. I could only finish about half the meal and took the rest to go. You do have the pay up at the counter which I the only thing I didn't love about the experience but that's not a huge deal! read more

We were on our way outta town and found this gem. Nice restaurant with with comfortable booths, lots of seating. Oscar was a great server and paid great attention to our needs. We were there between lunch and dinner and seated right away. Salsa is good in a small decanter with individual bowls for u. Food was great and came out fast. My fiancé and I we eat here quite often we love love love the food love the portions and we also love the service every time I've eaten here the prices are good the portions are good cause you always need it to go box we usually order the double order of fajitas which are amazing I love the vegetables and the meat they put in it usually we get the one with shrimp chicken and beef and it's awesome I will be going back into anyone that loves Mexican food please try this restaurant. read more

We had been driving the whole day - from Kentucky to Illinois to Missouri and back to Kentucky. We were starving. And decided to look for the closest restaurant. Mexican food was on our mind. Mostly because we are guaranteed to find a variety of vegetarian options. We chose to eat at Los Amigos, and we are happy that we did. It was a no fuss restaurant. The place was clean, the decor and music brought out the Mexican flavour. We were brought a bowl full of nachos and fresh salsa to go with it. And in the next minute or two our orders were also brought in. Enchilada stuffed with bean paste with rice, and huevos rancheros. The quantity was just right, the plates were warm and the food, delicious. The person who waited for us was efficient, just interacting enough to bring us our food and Jarritos. We were out of the restaurant in about 30 minutes, ready for our next leg of long drive. read more

If you order a chile relleno you will get a sliver of bell pepper and manager says if you want a chile rellano you must order a chile poblano and it is accompanied by some sort of white sauce which they charge $1.00 extra for even though you didn't order it. Disgusting meal. read more

My family absolutely loves the lone oak location los amigos and that location always gets the order right and the customer service is amazing. We go at least 3 times a week! But at the 5135 hinkleville road out by the mall has the rudest host/mangers. Considering we eat there 3 times a week we know what the order is and know how to order it. I picked up to go like usual just a different location this time and I got there early and it was so soggy that the shell was soaked so much I couldn't pick it up it was absolutely disgusting and then when I get to the restaurant to fix the problem the manager yelled in my face in front of a full restaurant " NEXT TIME ORDER CHICKEN FAHITA QUESADILLA." I just walked away in disbelief he yelled at me especially when I was just trying to fix a quick mistake he could have just told me not the entire restaurant. Food has always been good. Usually here every other Friday in colder months. They have no problem seating, serving and taking care of our usual 10+ group. Prices are fair for the good food. Servers are polite and even jovial. Only negative thing is they could do some updating to the decor. read more

This little place was just what we were looking for. Friendly service. Very friendly. It appeared to be very clean. Service was fast and yummy. I didn't get anything too fancy, just a couple of beef tacos, but they were pretty good. The cheese dip and chips was perfect. We will most definitely go back. read more

The service is usually very good. The price is great. The manager is NOT! We have found him to be rude. For example, when we've gone to pay our check, he is busy doing his books at the counter and is very brisk if he acknowledges you at all. The waiters and waitresses are all good. It's only the one male manager. I also went to pay my bill one night when we were in a hurray and the line was long behind us to pay. He continued to talk to one customer oblivious to the long line to pay in order to leave. read more
