Horrible - Salsa taste like horseradish- disgusting- Chips were stale Nachos??! Never had nachos like this - a pile of stale chips with thin drippy white cheese and some tiny pieces of chicken and beef - no jalapenos, sour crème, guac or anything resembling a normal order of nachos; Cheese enchiladas-same crappy liquid white cheese soup. Poor effort. Ambience - probably it's best aspect. Colorful decorations and furniture. Festive. Apps - salsa likely mass produced and then blended. Subpar. Queso was just microwaved white cheese, no green chili's or other seasonings. Mains - chicken quesadilla, steak fajitas, enchiladas mexicanas, ground beef tacos. Beside the tacos, they were enjoyed. Especially with the house made tomatillo sauce. Service - horrible. Our server barely took care of us. We had waited so long for a refill of chips for our queso, I actually had to walk INTO the kitchen to get more. Didn't refill drinks, and only attended us when I got my 10 year old daughter to chase after him! Three star Mexican joint, and our server almost brought my rating down to one star. I gave Casa Mexicana and their tacos a la Mexicana another try. The food was delicious and hot. I'd give it 5 stars. The service tonight however was a bit off. The hostess was someone I had not seen here before and wasn't very pleasant. For this reason, I'll keep my review at a 4 star. If you're looking for homemade chips, yummy tacos, and fresh made rice and beans. This is your place. Just beware that service could be spotty. read more

I have had delivery from this place numerous times and love the food. Finally came in for dinner and the service was awful. Our food came out 45 min later only saw our server 2 times ... food was half prepared. Not seasoned properly or cooked all the way. Really disappointed..... This was the worst food I have ever been served at a restaurant Nothing was fresh, everything had the after taste of uncovered food that had been sitting in the refrigerator. My chile rellenos was not recognizable and look more like someone got sick on the plate and then stuck a pepper in it. We left our food, paid the cashier, and prayed on the way home that we wouldn't get food poising from tasting it....we waisted our money and we will never go there again. read more

My husband & I are staying in a hotel in town for awhile & therefore we eat out a lot. We LOVE Casa Mexicana!!! We are very particular about our Mexican food & we love everything we've tried here. There are 3 wonderful waiters. Everyone is so nice. Try the La Favorita, the chimichangas are great, fajitas are great. Love their chips & salsa, too. read more

My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago and will not go back! We ordered our food and within just a few minutes it came out and mine was was microwaved, and watery, plus cold in the middle. The food is excellent, however, I placed an order to go and the fajitas were 10.25 for the meal per person. I added extra rice to the two orders I had placed and then a kid's quesadilla. When I called the order in, I was told the total was 31.25. When I got to the restaurant, the total magically went up to $36. First off, the extra rice cost $6 for both orders, $3 a piece, one third what the entire meal cost! The even if the original total was without tax, which she said it was with tax on the phone, 6% sales tax doesn't equal $5 difference on 31.25! I asked for an intemized receipt and they had to go get a manager to do that and I still walked out and didn't get one. Oh and by the way, the portions for take out have decreased by half or more for the same price! I had to ask for more than one tiny container of salsa and one bag of chips with three people eating! I WON"T eat there anymore! read more

We moved to Paducah a couple of years ago and have been eating here on a regular basis for quite some time. We have had some good and some bad experiences. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. The floor was covered in chip crumbs and other food debris. A group of people asked to turn up the game so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. Then the kicker. As we were paying the bill we saw a roach crawl across some food containers on the counter. We pointed it out to the cashier. He grabbed the box and threw it in the trash and sprayed bug spray in the trash can. He said thanks for pointing it out and that they have had some bugs lately as the cool weather was bringing them in. News flash. Roaches don't come inside when the weather gets cold. I'm shocked that they got an A from the health department. We will be looking for a New Mexican place to eat. So disappointed. read more
