This was a great place to stop for lunch. The service was excellent, very clean establishment and the drinks were excellent. The chorizo queso dip, chips and salsa were all very good. The carnitas burrito needed some spices or something, it wasn't bad just a lil bland. My wife had the steak chimichanga and said it was very good. Definitely would come back and recommend it. We came to eat here while we were in town house hunting [from Houston] and we're sadly disappointed. The margaritas were good [especially the mango with tajin rim] and I really enjoyed the ambience on the patio. But, the waitress didn't seem to know the answers to many of the questions I asked so she would go off to ask and then take awhile to come back and in one instance she forgot completely until after we paid the check [she was very kind, though]. We ordered the burrito and enchilada combo to split, which the menu described as having green sauce but it came out with red "sauce". I don't like red sauce and wouldn't have ordered a dish with red sauce, but this was more akin to the watery tomato juice you get out of canned tomatoes. The corn tortilla on the enchilada wasn't cooked and the chicken inside both items tasted like canned chicken. It was very flavorless overall. If we come back, it will be for drinks only. read more

The portions were large. I like how they serve the complementary chips with the salsa in a little carafe that you pour into your own little dish. Double-dipping encouraged! Our server was the manager. She began aggressive and rude. This continued- I was told the cost of my margarita was 12.99. Bill came it was 15.99. She did not tell me this and did not care. The other person ordered the same drink. She was charged 8.99. When I asked to speak to the owner she said the owner does not speak and English and she'd be doing the interpretation anyway. Beware. This place has the sweetest servers and bartenders ever! Hands down. At least in Kentucky. Their frozen house margarita was on special so, of course, I had to try it. I enjoyed! I got my nugget quite quickly although i wasnt given ketchup it took quite a while to get it. The chicken was alright with ketchup but alot better without ketchup. This restaurant is at 119 market house square Paducah, KY 42001 a different address than what's listed on yelp! My wife and I ate at their outdoor patio area which is very appealing and well kept. Their food and service on the other hand is mediocre at best. After being seated, it took the waitress a long time to bring out a couple of waters when there were about 4 other customers seated inside at the same table. Felt like they forgot about us being seated outside. When we asked the waitress about food being made in house she replied "no, it's too time consuming". Apparently the food here is frozen and prepackaged. I ordered the beef chimichanga plate which their online menu states "we stuff a flower tortilla with your choice of chunks of beef or chicken, then deep-fry it to a golden brown". The chimichanga is NOT deep fried and there are NO chunks of beef only a gross low grade ground beef. The chimichanga looked and tasted like it had been put in the microwave. Stay away from the food here!!!! Taco Bell does it better!!! read more

We stayed next door to this restaurant so popped in for a late dinner. Even though they were closing within the hour, they accommodated our party of six. Clean, nice atmosphere and fast service - and the food was REALLY good. Our party all ordered different entrees and we all liked our food. The red sauce was some of the best I've ever had. The top shelf margaritas were so good (you only need one) and the chips and salsa were too. My BIL had the carnitas and he said they were the best he had ever had and that's his go to order at Mexican restaurants. We would definitely go back next time we are in town. read more

Some dishes are good but I was very disappointed when ordering a mixed plate. Worst tamal I ever had too thick masa, filling was unseasoned hamburger and that same tasteless meat was used in the taco, the enchilada, and all covered in a bland tomato sauce. I visited Paducah to rest for the night while traveling on vacation I was feeling some Spanish/Mexican food so I went here. I was seated as soon as I walked in the door, the salsa is obviously homemade and fresh it was very, very good. Unfortunately the prices of the dishes are pretty high im from Nashville TN, it's a very big populated city a lot bigger than Paducah KY and the prices at Mexican restaurants in Nashville TN are about $4 cheaper than at this restaurant I was kind of surprised at how high the prices are here. For instance the combination dinner plates in Nashville are about 8$ to $12. The combination plates at this resturant are $12 to $14 And the portions are way smaller than in Nashville as well. I just have 3 stars because the prices are just a little high and the portions of food are small. read more

This restaurant used to be really good, but the last few times I've been it's gone downhill. The time before last, I went in to find a C on the door from the health department but decided to order nachos anyway just to throw them out because they were so bad. I went back again today after a couple of months to try again and the girl that claims to be the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. She couldn't even be bothered to hand me to thw bag of food, just stood several feet away and pointed "there it is". Then I discovered they did not even give me chips with the cheese sauce we ordered. When I asked she took a real smart-ass tone and said "well it's a dollar". I don't care about the dollar, but the attitude is uncalled for. "Nothing is free sir" she said. She tried to tell me they have never given you chips when you order cheese, but I know they always have. So does literally every other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. What do they expect you to do? Eat the cheese with a spoon? When I got the food home, the food was not good at all again. My dish that is supposed to be covered with cheese sauce was super dry and I found multiple pieces of fajita steak that were nothing but gristle. We won't be back. read more
