Thought I would give it a try! Flew in San Bernardino on crisp beautiful day. He gave great instruction right off the bat, and we had no trouble getting in the air. It only took one attempt, and we were up! It is by far one of the most fun and thrilling things I have done in awhile. Way more fun that zip-lining or parasailing. A big part of having fun on tandem paragliding is having a great instructor. Jonny made me feel very comfortable while in the air and was also extremely knowledgeable. He tells you what goes on while you're in the air to put you at ease. We were up for a good 30-45 minutes. Landing was a lot of fun too! Would recommend Oxygen Paragliding to anyone! Check it out for yourself. You wont regret it :)... Hope I get to go up again in the future. Maybe a new hobby? Oh yeah, don't forget a jacket, gloves, and sunglasses!

Which I wouldn't have minded if we had actually gotten the flights we had booked. I had booked 2 tandem flights for a date in malibu (and was very clear that there were 2 of us who both wanted to go) but he told me if we went to malibu we would have to wait around a lot in between the flights so it would be better to drive out to sylmar instead - which again, I wouldn't have been upset about if we had actually gotten to do the flights. We all drove up to the top of a mountain and after Hadi assisted several other paragliders (who weren't with us) he finally got around to my flight. At the bottom of the mountain after checking and packing the gear he wanted to take pictures and kept delaying driving back up to chat with friends instead. All in all we wound up leaving my boyfriend at the top of the mountain for 3 hours without a phone before Hadi got back up there for his flight. Then, once back up there (it's about a 30min drive from where we met to where the flight takes off) - he said he was waiting for the wind but just helped a bunch of other paragliders take off (who weren't with us and also weren't asking for help as far as I know). He also stopped responding to his radio (I was getting worried waiting at the bottom and asked people nearby to try to contact them). By the time he was finally ready to fly with my boyfriend, it was way too late in the day and they just had to drive back down (it was 7:30pm at that point and we had arrived at 1pm). If it had been a fluke of the weather, again i wouldn't have minded, but he just seemed to have no sense of time or interest in getting the flights done. Then on top of that, he asked me to not only pay full price for my flight, but OVER full price with fees ($260 total). After that he tried to get me to book with him AGAIN (but offered no discount - just called it "rescheduling" even though I would be paying full price for both times) and said he could do it right next time and hire another pilot so that we could go together. The whole ordeal (and the above average price) are definitely not worth the 10-15min of gliding.

Everyone was very friendly and made this one of the best experiences of my life. I was nervous when I arrived but as soon as I boarded the plane I was completely relaxed, no fear at all. I was living in the moment just looking at the beautiful scenery below. I have traveled to a lot of places in the world but looking at the coast and mountains from Palos Verdes and Catalina all the way to Santa Barbara and inland was awesome. Stepping out of the plane and feeling the free fall for a few seconds felt more like being in a wind tunnel and didn't get that feeling like in a passenger plane losing altitude. I was actually pretty calm and enjoying the experience jumping from the plane. It really wasn't scary at all and I wished it lasted longer. After the parachute opened it was a smooth ride all the way until we landed. One of the most beautiful experiences I have been fortunate to ever have.

Amazing and fun!…read more Service: Great service overall, from the check in counter to the people driving the boat. A special shout out to Mark and Vinny who took us on the boat out to parasail. They were wonderful, fun, and professional the entire time. It felt both comfortable and exciting at the same time which I thoroughly enjoyed. Experience: This was my 3rd time parasailing and personally, this was the best place. The whole experience took about 1.5 hours so you have ample time to spend time on the water and soak in the sun while other parties are up in the air. It was a very fun experience overall and I will forsure be returning this summer. Parking: There's a Parking lot right by the boat rental which was very convenient. Finding the boat rental place from the parking is very easy too! Overall, 5/5 experience. If you're in the area in the summer or want to do an exciting activity, this is it! Had so much fun hang gliding today. We took off at a little over 3500 feet and were able to climb…read moreto over 4000 feet. We were higher than the airplanes on landing approach to Burbank airport. We flew with some turkey vultures in the area. This is the closest experience to flying like a bird. My instructor has flown over 10000 flights so I was in good hands. The video is of Alice landing after me. She landed on her feet and my instructor landed on the wheels. I will post the go pro footage later. Another great adventure!

Lately I've been doing a lot of daredevil activities and came across hang gliding. I previously did…read moreparagliding at La Jolla it was okay but hang gliding seemed to be more fun and extreme. I arrived at the glider port and then the instructor who was very nice Andy the owner came. We took a 40m drive to the glider port the team set everything up. Watched video on a iPad for quick training it was very simple instructions even kids can learn. We were up 35-40 high went fast, circled around and landed on the ground safe. Willie was my tandem pilot his landing style is very graceful and you land on your feet while Andy the former airplane pilot expert likes to land on wheels it was pretty cool. I'm really excited to get home and watch the gro pro footages of our mountain tandem hang gliding.

This is an iconic beach because Will, Rogers was with the largest land holder in the area. Don't forget to go up to Will, Rogers State Park up on Sunset Boulevard. The true magic happened when we flew towards the ocean. The view was breathtaking, and the feeling of soaring and descending over the waves was truly exhilarating. I was able to feel the spray of the water and it was almost as if I could reach out & touch the water. I felt a rush of pure joy and freedom. Despite my fear of heights and aversion to roller coasters, I found myself completely at ease and thoroughly enjoying every second of the flight. It was an unexpected and delightful surprise that left me craving more. This ultralight flight was a 10 out of 10 experience, and I can't wait to do it again.
