Delicious! We placed an order for pickup and the wait time was a little longer than expected but it was honestly worth it! We had the bandeja montañera and the pollo a la plancha as main dishes and they were delicious for the most part; the beans were a little bland. The portions were fantastic too! We also had beef empanadas and buñuelos. The buñuelos were so good! Empanadas were ok in my opinion but my husband and son really liked them. I went there yesterday and honestly I'm really disappointed. I've been coming to this restaurant for almost 2 years and always loved it, but my recent experience completely changed my opinion. After finishing my food, I asked for a container to take the leftovers home. The server brought one out but accidentally dropped it. She immediately went back to the kitchen and came right back with another container, almost too quickly. Something felt off, so I checked it, and it was clearly dirty. It looked like the exact same container she had dropped. My boyfriend and I look young, so maybe she thought we wouldn't notice or wouldn't care, but that's unacceptable. If they're willing to do something like that right in front of customers, it honestly makes me wonder what else happens behind the scenes when nobody is watching. It's been a while since I've been here but the service is always great! We were seated right away and for our appetizer we had the chicharrone ceviche. That ceviche was amazing the pork was fried to perfection and sauce was so good. I've never had a ceviche like that and I would order it again. For my main I ordered the breaded pork chop with a side of fries and maduros. Everything was good the pork chop was lightly breaded and tender. Review for Los Antojos We've been coming to Los Antojos for a long time and have always enjoyed the food and the experience. However, on our most recent visit, we noticed something that caught us off guard--a service charge for to-go containers. It wasn't a large amount, but it felt strange, especially since we've never seen that charge before. I politely asked the server about it, but she wasn't sure why there was a charge. I then asked a gentleman near the cashier, and he said he didn't know either--it's just something they do now. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, I've never seen a place charge for a basic foam container, especially one that isn't even reusable. If this is a new policy, I think it should be clearly communicated--either on the menu or by the staff--so customers aren't surprised at the end of their meal. Also, if tip is automatically included, it would be helpful for servers to let customers know upfront. I still enjoy the food here, and I want to continue supporting the restaurant, but I hope management considers being more transparent with these kinds of charges in the future. read more

However recently I have noticed poor service and discrepencies with the food. Including a recent purchase of a soup which had melted styrofoam inside our sancocho/soup. No Manager was available to offer any apologies or offer any compensation for something that can cause cancer. I would advise anyone who has ordered from this restaurant to be weary of their hazardous and unsafe practices which can have health consequences in the future and to those who are thinking of purchasing anything from this restaurant to be aware, anything hidden or unknown will have no Manager or Owner to save face. The workers are left without a manager and have no idea how to resolve customer related issues. This is not the first time I have had issues with this restaurant. Also, their prices online do not reflect their prices when you actually order. I have been misled many times like this and there is never a Manager around who you can actually take this up with and remedy the issue. These dishonest tactics should have no place in our American society. read more
