Ordered chimichangas....small portion....no mention in menu that it contained peppers...there was more peppers than meat...at least a cup of green and red peppers. Chimichangas are supposed to be deep fat fried...these were not. Instead of being crispy and flaky...these were doughy and soggy. Also order queso ....an extremely small portion....meal was not a good value for the money. Service was adequate. The salsa was the only portion of the meal that I enjoyed. Honestly this place blows the competitors out of the water. While it may look like it's just a restaurant, it also has a mini store inside with ingredients for cooking and some sweets. I ordered the tongue tacos to go, asked if I could get them street styled, but was told I put condiments on myself. I can not emphasize enough how awesome it was to make a "me" taco with the great assortment of condiments and salsas. Food, hospitality, truly everything was just killer. If you're in Georgetown and want a Spanish spot, I seriously suggest coming here. Hands down I'll be back soon enough. read more

This I diamond in the rough for authentic mexican food. We just stopped in on a tip for a snack but it was incredible. We tried the steak gorditos and the al pastor gorditos and they were amazing. The crunch of the fried cornmeal shell, the cool of the sour cream, and the spice of the jalapeño cilantro sauce made the gorditos stand out in an awesome way. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu options. read more

We ate at Los Arrieros in late Dec, 2018. The nutshell is that it was horrible! The place smelled of disinfectant. The chips were old and cold. The salsa bland and watery. We both had carne. It was so tough (makes my jaw hurt just thinking about it) it was inedible as were the accompaniments. The only thing that was even tolerable was the guacamole, but it was very plain. The food was the BEST AUTHENTIC Mexican food I have ever eaten. They have an outstanding salsa bar that has everything you could want salsa, limes, pick de Gallo, limes, jalapeño slices, cilantro, sour cream and more. Brightly colored walls and decor make this place really fresh and festive. I wish I had taken photos of our food. Plates were really plentiful and my Gorditas were made to order. So fresh and delicious with white cheese crumbles on top. In the back was a fabulous Mexican Grocery store with great selection of Mexican products, food and beverages, plus lots of piñatas for parties. read more
