While looking for a Mexican restaurant for dinner I was hesitant after noticing only 3 stars. Honestly, this place is much better than 3 stars. I had the steak and chicken fajitas and the taste and tenderness of the steak was awesome. The portion was so much I had enough for lunch the next day. Nothing spectacular, nothing great, just ok at best. Located between the Subway and the Marathon gas station. Friendly? Walk-in and a staff member points out a table and tells you to go there. I ordered the carne de azada, three stale flour tacos with chopped beef and rice and diablo sauce,(very spicey hot!) -unfortunately rice and beef had very little flavor, but were served hot! I liked the chips and salsa. Salsa had a fresh flavor with just a bit of heat. The desert cooler was running in the high temp red zone while I was theres, so pass on the GFS deserts. Oh yea, I felt real sorry for the family in the next room, daddy spent most of his time texting vrs talking with his 4 kids or wife. Bad boy. Advice: bypass this place, if you have to have mexican flavor in Princeton hit the bell, Me, I am going to Jared's favorite place & now that I know El Rodeo and this place are owned by same folks - saved me a trip there. Just because it's meat doesn't mean it has to be ground beef. Not actually authentic.

So, the food was good in my opinion. Wasn't old. Hot and fresh. The delivery kinda threw me off a little bit. My cheese bowl arrived covered in cheese as though it was quickly slapped on there and by no means were they busy. I mean hardly any tables were full, but that's ok. What gives my review three stars is the cleanliness here. The booths are worn down and ripped. I'm currently sitting on a ripped one and as I've said in previous reviews. I know what a booth looks like when the rip has been there for awhile. My biggest concern blows me away by how many tables have napkins under them to stop them from wobbling over. Almost all of them and here's what adds worse to it. They've been under there for so long. They are discolored, torn and lost all whiteness. If this floor gets mopped every night in which I hope it does. All that bacteria from the mop water is carried over to the napkins night after night. Which creates a smell. The more bacteria growth and whatever else. Let's remember what a napkins purpose is by the way. Partly to absorb liquids. read more

I'm from Cali, and Mexican so I know Mexican food so I decided to go in after living in Princeton for 2 years the food was microwaved not fresh at all, dead bugs in window seal, and dust I can say my rice was good but definitely not worth $30 for two enchiladas and taco rice plate, my boyfriend had only 3 beef tacos. Mexican food is the easiest and fresh food to cook how can you guys get it wrong. read more

Prices are reasonable. Salsa is puréed tomatoes with a little spice (I prefer more sophistication in my food). Average service and food. As long as you lower expectations before going, you'll leave satisfied. It's not like there's much of an option in this city if you don't want fast good. Just sayin'. read more

I wish I had something positive to say here. Both my fork and plate had some leftover food on it I guess from a previous customer. Also, some black speck floating in my water. The water tasted like it came from the tap but not certain about that. The food was significantly hotter on one side than the other which only leads me to believe it was microwaved. There were 2 different tables with loud kids crawling around the booth and under the table. The staff definitely saw this and did nothing. In summary, I wouldn't go back to Los Aztecas even if it were free. read more

Best Mexican restaurant in town. A lot of variety on the menu. Their guacamole is my favorite and always fresh! The new patio is enjoyable to sit when nice and warm outside and they occasionally have live music. read more

I never post but had to for this place. This place was dirty there were flies in there. The booth next to us had chips and stuff on the floorand the table was filthy. Our waiter was very rude, never saying more than 2 words to us. My husband asked a question, he didn't understand and made some remark to us. He said it so loud, the other patrons were laughing at us. Then our food came on plates that were chipped and broken. Now I am not that picky that I won't eat my food, but just looking at it was bad. It was a steak cut up with sauce on it. My husbands food was a literally a piece of steak, not even cut up for his fajitas. I took 1 bite of my food. Was so bad, that we decided to just pay and leave. At least we didn't have to pay for it. The lady was nice enough not to charge us. I give them 1 star because of that nice lady. read more

Me and my friends food was bland, chips were stale, waitress only checked on us one time during the hour we were there.

My friends and I eat at Loz Aztecas every week, sometimes twice. The wait staff are almost all Spanish speaking, which is not a bad thing. They are very nice and friendly. They know us and know what we get from week to week, which is something I personally like. Their prices are reasonable and the food is always good. Well worth my time and my friends time to eat here as often as we do. Would definitely recommend to my friends. read more

Went there for Mother's Day tonight. WORSE SERVICE EVER. .. we waited over an hour for our food! Other people behind us had gotten theirs and were FINISHED!!! Meanwhile the waitress didn't refill our drinks despite walking past us several times. We asked for queso... she didn't turn the order in. I had to ASK for her to take our orders! !! The kid busing tables didn't bus ours!! We finally asked if there was a problem and the waitress said she'd check and then she continued to just go to other tables and never came back!!! Finally asked the owner what the problem was and explained the situation...He came back with our ticket and said we had 6 grill items and THAT was the problem! !! REALLY???? MAYBE YOU NEED A BIGGER GRILL! !!! THEN... this young smartass waitress says she is sorry we didn't get our food but "we have been busy and our cooks haven't had a break. It's Mother's Day."...WELL...NO SHIT!!!! THAT is why we were there! !! IT'S A RESTAURANT! !!HEY MORE HELP! !! I told her it was completely inappropriate for her to even say that to me cause I'M THE CUSTOMER! !!! She said I was rude!!! Well. .. needless to say. ..THAT WAS ENOUGH! !!! WE paid for our drinks and left! !!I am a paying customer and only wanted my food! !! I was a waitress FOR YEARS... if I had spoken to a customer like that I would have been fired! !! AND. .. the people I worked for would've made things right for the CUSTOMER!!! A a nurse there are times I DON'T GET A BREAK...BUT... you don't take it it on the patients! !!! I've been to this restaurant 3 times now, hoping to catch them at a better time, and we will not be going back. The food is decent, but the service is HORRIBLE!! The first 2 times we went, we sat with empty drinks for long periods of time while the people who work there walked past us repeatedly ignoring us. Tonight was our worst experience yet. We went while they were slower, hoping for a better experience (we were 1 of 2 customers there). There was no air conditioning, making it about 90 degrees inside. We placed our order, and waited, and waited. I ordered a beef wet burrito, no refried beans; my husband ordered a chicken wet burrito, no lettuce or tomato. When our food finally came, after 40 minutes of waiting, there were refried beans on my plate. I chose not to say anything and just ate around them. My husband started eating and the chicken was very dry. After the first bite, he noticed the burrito was full of tomato, which he can't stand. When we finally got the attention of the staff, he said there was nothing he could do-- "it comes with tomato in it." They refused to take it off the bill, even though the bill said in clear writing, "no tomato" on his and "no refried" on mine. This restaurant either needs new management/ownership or to be closed down. AVOID!! read more
