Because this shop is part of a cluster of businesses who all share common space, it was noticeably better than anywhere else in our surrounding area. You can also get some healthy breakfast options, juices, etc... And the shaded outdoor hang is just the way to start any day whether you're a tourist or local.

They were both delicious! The staff was nice. There is not a lot of places to sit but there is this super cute swing set up. There is also an iconic photo spot with the saying, "I love Tulum so Matcha" painted on a surf board. I will say it's nots cheap. The prices here are comparable to what we would see in New York. So expensive only in the sense that it's not typical Mexican pricing but I feel like that is true of all of Tulum since it is a very touristy area.

He opened in March 2018, wanting to offer a fair price (and the same price) to tourists and locals alike. These tacos are incredibly fairly priced, and luckily so because I recommend trying as many meats as your stomach can handle, ranging around $20-$30 pesos or about $1-2 USD. I tried the tripa, al pastor, and one other beef one and I loved all three, but my favorite was the tripa. It was so flavorful and crispy! I wish I ordered two or three of those, but it was good to try a variety. Just a heads up, the salsa was SUPER spicy and if you're a tourist who doesn't speak Spanish, they've got you covered with some English-speaking staff. There's no air conditioning, so eating spicy food made it feel even hotter, so I would suggest bringing a hand-held fan and asking for a bottle of cold water or Coke!
