February 2026 Came here on a Tuesday night at 7 o'clock. There were only two other tables in the entire restaurant with people seated at them. Asked for a drink specials and they said that they had a five dollar margarita. Asked about beer specials and they had none. So I ordered a Modelo draft. Apparently they only have 22 or 28 ounces. So it's a large cold draft. They immediately brought us chips and salsa. The chips were thick and crunchy and the taste was good. The salsa is served with a carafe of salsa and they bring you bowls for each of you to pour the salsa in to. The first time we were brought chips to the table, they were cold. The second time they were warm . And they tasted so much better. If you get cold chips, be sure to send them back and ask for hot ones. Service is quick and efficient. There are gray tiles for floors, booths with vinyl seating, and many tables with cushioned vinyl chairs. My only concern about the decor is it is way too bright in here. Too many lights for an evening dinner. There are also a handful of televisions high on the wall walls of the restaurant. The place seemed clean. However, the menus were very dirty. I found this gross to touch when I'm eating chips with my hands. I ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla. I substituted black beans for pinto. My husband ordered the enchilada Jericho plate. The quesadilla had good flavor with the grilled onions and peppers. I disliked the chicken as it was dry. Additionally, I do not like my chicken cut into small squiggly worm like pieces. Yet the black beans were mixed with pico and they had a very delicious flavor. The rice was also very good. The enchiladas were good and my husband thought that the cheese enchilada actually tasted the best. He agreed with me that the chicken was dry. Overall, I thought this place was good Mexican food. Definitely not authentic but very good. The service was excellent. I would come back to this restaurant. I would give it 4.5 stars. read more

We went with a group of five people. The server was very kind to us and accommodated our group well. The restaurant was quiet, comfortable, and was hygienic. I got the mango tilapia with a side of avocado slices, which was very tasty. The food was not only good-tasting, but it also made me feel good afterwards. We recently visited Los Cabos Mexican Grill with some friends, and it was a fantastic experience all around. The staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The vibe was lively but not overwhelming, perfect for hanging out and catching up. I ordered a burrito that came smothered in queso, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, cheesy, and full of flavor. So far this is the best Mexican restaurant in Lincoln we have found. They have spent a lot of money on the furniture and accouterments. It's in a shopping center, but it doesn't feel like it. The food is close to excellent with absolutely the best quac either of us have ever had. My beef fajitas and Kathy's burrito Leon, a seafood dish, were excellent. The flan was delicious. We have not been ecstatic about the Mexican restaurants in Lincoln. Mexican food gets much better the farther south you drive. In comparison with those more-south restaurants, I would give this place four stars but comparing it with what is offered locally, I give it five stars. read more

Wow! We tried Los Cabos tonight for dinner and left totally satisfied!!! The food was delicious, my husband and I both got combos, his shrimp was perfectly grilled and everything was fresh and well cooked. We split a pitcher of ice cold margaritas and they were so nice, light and flavorful! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and the food came out quickly The art in the restaurant is AMAZING- paintings are lovely throughout and the light fixtures and high ceilings contribute to a clean and dramatic space. Disappointed in our meals yesterday! We've been to Los Cabos 5 times since it opened! The first 4 were excellent experiences, both food taste and staff. We took our grandson yesterday and we were all disappointed with our meals, we did not finish eating them. Staff were fine! I had no idea this Mexican restaurant existed until I drove to Tractor Supply one day and saw the sign. Apparently it's been open for around 9 months. It's kind of hidden away in a strip mall. Clean (occasionally fly problems...no attempt to swat them), noisy/echoing, smaller restaurant with average/somewhat plain decor. Food is very good though, somewhat unique and has more seafood items (or at least shrimp) than most Lincoln Mexican restaurants. They do like to cover many menu items in queso. It's good queso, but can sometimes be too heavy for me. We normally order queso with our chips at all Mexican restaurants, but have started ordering their bean dip which is topped with some queso and quite delicious! It has become our new staple. The service is usually pretty good as well. If you don't want a premixed margarita from a slushie type machine, get the Gold Margarita. It's much better, although a little more expensive. My hubby and I usually split the large size instead of buying two. This restaurant is a great option in lieu of the declining quality of the Mazatlan/Margaritas/El Toro/Morales family restaurants. It's nice to have a New Mexican restaurant to go to!! One of my current favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Mi Mexico Lindo, Los Cabo's and Hacienda Real are my top three in this order. read more
