Waited to be seated until bar tender from the back came over and asked if we had been helped, then looked around, saw no support, so sat us. My daughter and I waited... and waited. I went to the restroom ... without toilet paper (luckily I had napkins in my purse), return, and nobody came yet. We waited... as we saw people less than 3 years away at the front cash register. Someone comes and we order water then food. Overall checked on us - about three times. Food... came out VERY quickly... for octopus and shrimp... octopus tasted horrible. Min shrimp were in pre-made sauce and pre-cut. Dressing was given in plastic containers, two each. As I write this I feel my stomach turning... great. Tortillas brought in paper wrapping. At the end, we were waiting for about 15 minutes for the check while watching two at the front now chatting. Beautiful environment. Food doesn't seem to be the focus nor presentation of food. Service when convenient...maybe more about nightlife and people overlooking the meal with good drinks? Oh... and I recommend not having the raspberry "vinaigrette"... 2 waters and 2 meals of shrimp/rice/salad and octopus/salad cost 42 dollars. The new location is a little too blended externally into its environment and needs to pop out in order to drive more business your way. The new interior is nothing short of beautiful! There is a comfort about it and the ambiance is almost there. The restaurant plays different music than the bar so, that is a little distracting when you are sitting within earshot of both areas. We waited for 45 mins for a table (busy on a Friday night, which was understandable); however, when we finally got seated we had no waiter attend to us. Other tables seated after us had received drinks and chips while we still had nothing. The host had to go track down our waiter (a young man). When he finally came, he was not friendly and didn't apologize for the wait. Some of the worst service we have gotten. My son and I went in last night for Cinco De Mayo. From the moment we walked in until we paid our Bill the customer Service was above and beyond. I honestly cannot believe the from the front greeter to the servers (and there were a few who came by )offering water, chips, complimentary soup and I believe even the manager who went out of his way to make sure all was well. I am so impressed because I think customer service make a business. And although we only ordered tacos and a drink both fish and steak tacos were very tasty and the Margarita was one of the best I've had. I Highly recommend this place. There are times like these when I get to enjoy a great meal, Los Cabos has a variety of fresh food for adults and kids. I came when it first opened and it's seems like the taste is just getting better. The menus are nice and easier to read, like what they did by illustrating what I'm going to get. The variety of beer is great and it's really cold they have happy hours all week and weekends. When it's buisy you will wait a little longer with service, this haven't changed much. When we arrived at the restaurant order was not ready because they did not submit it to the kitchen so we had to wait another 20 minutes. They only care about health code violations when it blocks them from making one kid meal sale but not the dirty shrimp they sell or the people they make sick with their food. This was a dirty and ABLEIST move from this establishment. I wish it was the first time they've discriminated against a special needs family but it isn't. Called an order for a Medium shrimp cocktail for my mother. Went to pick it up and had three employees standing near the cash register looking at me and waiting for the other to actually help me. I was socially distanced and waiting for them to call me up. When I am finally rang up, they bring out a small, warm cup of shrimp cocktail and given a bag of limes. This cup was 15.00 including a 15% tip. How in the world do you not post a picture of the cup on your menu and how do you charge ten plus dollars for such a small cup? This will be the last time I visit this establishment because of their ludicrous medium size cups and their exorbitant pricing on what held 6 shrimp in a cup of cucumbers. To be fair, fitting six shrimp in a cup so small is no easy task. If you want a true cocktail I recommend Puerto Nuevo or La Resaca, at least there you don't have to pay for a medium in a small cup. read more
