Los chamos is top of 3 of my favorite food trucks in Miami. They're at haulover park every Tuesday and you could find them at so many events around Miami. The staff is so sweet and food is always done in a timely manner

Grubbing. Sooo good. I got the falafel platter. So much food and really tasty. I visited at Haulover Park food truck event. One of the best options here.

I was excited to try their food but after the hot dog I couldn't even eat. Not only was it overpriced it didn't even taste good. After that I decided to not try anything. Honestly I've had better hot dogs. It was so ughh

Arepas! I visited Los Chamos when they were parked at the Hollywood Arts Park and ordered the Pabellon arepa. Shredded beef, black beans, plantains, and cheese. I am giving five stars partially because of the service. On this food truck adventure my brother had requested I bring a few things home to him, and food trucks don't always offer the best traveling containers. The man who helped noticed me carrying wrapped things and asked if I would like the arepa to go and wrapped it up nicely for me. He also went as far as to get me a bag and packaged up the food I had from the other trucks for me as well. He definitely went above and beyond to help me out with my delivery girl errand. Now for the arepa. I have to admit that I got a little too excited with all the food trucks in front of me and by the time I got home I was too full and I knew I wouldn't enjoy it to its fullest, so I saved it and brought it for lunch at work the next day. It was delicious! Even though I put it in the microwave to reheat it the beef, bean, cheese and plantain flavors were all still great. I will admit I probably sacrificed a little bit of the arepa's bread quality by microwaving it, but it was still really great. At about $7 this arepa was HUGE and definitely worth the price as it was very filling. I will be on the lookout for Los Chamos again as they also offer empanadas and seeing other's pictures on here I think I have to try those as well.

I got the pabellon arepa. I am very happy with this dish. A very hefty portion of meat, they did not skimp out on ingredients and portions which I really appreciate. It had plantains some black beans and cheese, a wonderful combination! I would recommend this dish and I would order it again. Of the three sauces they offered I personally only liked the garlic mayo.. I actually liked it a lot. One huge down side to my experience with Los Chamos was the LONG ASS WAIT. 30-40 minute wait.... That got pretty annoying.

I love this truck because it represents everything I love about my homeland. Amazing cachapas, arepas, empanadas, tequenos and the best damn guasacaca sauce ever. So good I always consider stealing the bottle but my food trucking purse is a small crossover and the damn thing won't fit. I like to travel light on my eating adventures. The food is always fresh and tastes just like home. The dudes on the truck are super cool and fun to talk to. Their empanada de pabellon is nothing but perfection. Grab that, a cachapa, tequenos and a Frescolita and you're in Venezuelan heaven.

I love cachapas. They are amazing! It's sweet, has corn kernels and melted cheese. Just delicious! I get it every time I see this truck or go to a Venezuelan joint. The empanadas are huge and devoured in minutes by my son's friend. He claimed it was the best empanada ever! We also got the deep into pork sandwich and we were disappointed. It wasn't very flavorful and we ended up throwing it out. I'll try other items next time.

This food truck is great! Had a beef cachapa at the Hispanic Heritage Festival in Miramar this weekend and it was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!!!!!

Le Cordeon Blue Empanada is what sold me! They'd get 5 stars if they were just a hair faster, but I get the 'slow food' movement.

The service is attentive, and the food is excellent -- both in flavor and presentation. It's a place we have genuinely enjoyed visiting. However, during our most recent visit, there were a few concerns that stood out. First, we noticed that the prices listed on the menu did not match the prices on the receipt. While the differences were only a few dollars, it's important for pricing to be transparent and consistent to avoid confusion. We also really enjoyed the live music -- it created a wonderful atmosphere. However, once the band went on break, videos from the same artist played for over an hour. In our opinion, the content seemed directed toward one specific culture. Given that this is South Florida, where multiculturalism is such a big part of the community, it would be great to see entertainment that reflects and embraces a broader audience. Finally, while the food remains very good, the portion sizes feel small for the current pricing. It seems that prices have increased noticeably, and the value does not feel quite as balanced as before.

The plantains and fries tasted like re-used old oil. Additionally, we waited 35 minutes u til someone came to take our order. The one thing they had going for them was the live music which although the singers were not great, it helped create a festive atmosphere.

This place is demasiado brutal, vale!…read more Pepito's Plaza Brickell is pure Venezuelan soul wrapped in an arepa. The La Pelúa is the real MVP, packed hasta el tope with juicy carne mechada and melted yellow gouda that hits en el alma. It's not just tasty, it's arrechísima. You bite into that and boom, you're back on the streets of Caracas, eating sabroso and forgetting you're even in Brickell. And the papitas fritas? Una vaina seria. Super crispy, golden, and totally addictive. You'll say you're just gonna try a few... mentira. You'll crush the whole thing before you're halfway through your arepa. Can't miss the toppings like alioli, garlic, guasacaca, spicy, or the Venezuelan punch, tartar sauce. Now let's talk billete: the price is a ganga. For what you get, massive portions, flavor for days, and that homemade feel, it's honestly a steal. In this part of Miami? That's a miracle with guasacaca on top. Plus, the crew? Unos cracks. Full-on Venezuelan warmth, quick service, good vibes, and they treat you like you've been coming there since chamito. Yasimar (pelo largo negro chick, Elizabeth, Lizbeth, Juan, and Efrain, gracias por contagiar real pana energy all around. In short: La Pelúa + crispy fries + price that doesn't hurt + puro sabor criollo + a killer team = 20/10. Go, eat, and leave saying: "¡Coño, qué brutal está esto!"

The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful outdoor setup. The lavender accents, the adorable decorative bicycle, and the refreshing mist made such a difference on a hot Miami summer day. It's the only restaurant on the block offering that kind of cooling system, and it's such a thoughtful touch. The outdoor seating is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for 2 groups of 4 without feeling crowded. As soon as I walked inside, I was greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere. Everything was spotless the dining area, the simple yet elegant table settings, and the beautiful pastry display. You can tell they take pride in every detail!! What truly made the experience unforgettable was the customer service. The owner was there personally welcoming guests and made me feel right at home. Everyone had genuine smiles, and before I had even ordered, she generously offered me a complimentary cachapa. That level of hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers. The energy of this place is incredible warm, welcoming, and full of heart. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you want to come back, not just for the food but for the experience. I'm so happy I found this hidden gem, and I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

I use to highly recommend the small Venezuelan hole in the wall with great pastry and savory options. However, the service is not worth it. For example today I came by myself walked inside to ask if I could sit at the empty tables outside. The server came a few minutes after with a menu, I tried to make it easy so I said "I am just having chicken tenders and a cup of water please". She said "great so you've been here before". After 10 minutes of sitting alone I walked inside and politely asked for a cup of water. She responded "it's free I'll bring it when I'm ready". So I went back outside sat by myself and a gentlemen sat him self and ordered an espresso. The server made his espresso brought it to him while I am still sitting on the hot side walk without a cup of water. She brought the cup of water while I was getting up to leave. At this point it had been 17 minutes. I told her I was leaving and she said I have to stay for the chicken tenders. I said I would have loved to but the lack of service and disrespect made me loose my appetite. She then went on to call me "Pathetic". I didn't respond I've been in the restaurant industry for 27 years have a quite successful restaurant here in Miami Beach. I don't know the servers name she never told me. But if anyone "owners or investors" want to look into the matter I highly recommend it. She had dark curly hair, was over wait and wearing glasses. Calling a guest"/paying customer "Pathetic" is unacceptable.
