I'm from Inglewood, Los Angeles. And if you know you know, if you don't you don't! Recently moved to Texas a couple months ago and I now I know why they call it "TexMex" it's REALLY hard to find authentic mexican food unlike my city we got the culture everywhere on every single corner. Now THIS PLACE, is as close as it got. A reminder of home. Muchas gracias a Los trabajadores! Taste, texture, EVERYTHING was on point. Give these people the busy business they deserve! Leave that texmex food alone! Lol and get with them!

    3 Pastor & 2 Barbacoa tacos
    Alisha S.

After craving some authentic Mexican food, I came here wanting to see what all the fuss was about. And to be honest, it's the little places that deliver the biggest flavor. I ordered two Pastor tacos and they were very tasty! The meat was fresh and perfectly cooked. I have a huge sweet tooth so I also got a cream cheese filled churro and loved it! The shop is pretty small, but there is an option to sit and eat inside if you want. Lots of parking spaces, but they were pretty full at the time because of the bazaar and stores surrounding it. Prices weren't listed on the menu, so that was kind of a disappointment.

Muy rica la comida, hacen todo muy rápido, reciben tarjetas y también efectivo, son muy amables, y la comida siempre es fresca.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

A red salsa which was mild and has some nice acidity from the tomato. Then there was a creamy green salsa that had a nice spice. Then finally my personal favorite a great black bean dip. These paired well with the free chips. My partner ordered the queso birria, great flavor and a great consume. Then I had the poblano enchiladas which was the best dish of night! The poblano sauce was creamy cheesy and delicious. There was a nice spiced shredded chicken super tasty. Overall a fantastic restaurant with great service too !

Unfortunately, since the ownership change, the experience just hasn't been the same. The customer service is still decent, and I genuinely enjoy their spicy Mexican martini -- that's honestly the main reason I still stop by. However, the food quality has noticeably declined. Over the past year, I've experienced stomach issues after eating here, which had never happened to me before under the previous ownership. I'm not sure if it's a change in ingredients, preparation methods, or sourcing, but something is clearly different. It's disappointing because this used to be a go-to spot. I truly hope the new management takes a closer look at the food quality and consistency. There's a strong history here, and it would be great to see it restored.

One of the few restaurants serving puffed tacos. Rice and beans complimented my plate . Additional diner had enchilada covered in queso with pork tamale - rice and refried beans. Chips and hot sauce were standard. Bar was a center of activity and well made drinks were served. Great lunch crowd and regulars commented that dinner was exceptional I recommend this restaurant for casual dining and a place to meet friends for a drink and meal .

The tables are normal height, meaning for somebody in a power wheelchair like myself, it was a tight fit. They didn't speak english but that's fine and I managed. I got a full meal for 10$. 3 tacos (pick any 3 from their quite big menu options), along with a side of rice and beans, and some onions and lime to add to the tacos. I got a potato and scrambled egg taco, a ham and scrambled egg taco, and a chorizo and scrambled egg taco. The potato and the ham ones were good, although the chorizo wasn't my favorite. It was pretty early so I obviously went breakfast with my choices, but they had a variety of options ranging from barbacoa to chicken. Their creamy hot sauce was really good, although the red sauce was too thin for my taste. I'll be back again to try some of the non-breakfast tacos. Pretty good, authentic tacos that won't break the bank.
