I wanted so go in here and enjoy my meal. Sadly is was not meant to be. First we were asked to wait while the hostess who was handling a few things was able to give us her attention. We were going to be seated at a table but asked for a booth. You could almost notice a little annoyance from the hostess. She asked a server and there was some back and forth between them and finally she took us to a table. Dirty I might add, but before she sat us she ran to get a rag to wipe it down. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer "the frog ". Drinks came and food order was taken. Hubs ordered a build your own burrito, I ordered grilled shrimp street tacos with charro beans and rice. And the kid ordered chicken nuggets, we asked for rice because she could not eat any of their sides. Oh, almost forgot!! I unwrapped my silverware and my knife was stuck to the napkin. The kid opened hers and her fork had rice still stuck to it. Finally the food arrived. What happened to the appetizer? Nothing it never arrived. We told the server and her expression was aghast and dumbfounded. We told her to forget it. Hubs started to eat his burrito and I asked him where his sour cream was. He says there's alot of corn but I don't taste beans, guacamole , cheese or sour cream. He finally cut it lengthwise and lo and behold none of the things he asked for was in there. I looked at my street tacos and it was nothing but cut up shrimp and raw onion. The kid ate her nuggets but complained about her rice because it had no flavor except for rice and it was red rice with no seasoning. My rice was a tad better because I put my beans on it. The beans were good. The server came over and hubs explained about his burrito. Her response...what do you want me to do about it? I would like my ingredients. She obliged. Brought him everything on a plate. I was frustrated so I got the manager's attention and hubs explained everything but when we showed her the silverware she was shocked. She comped the meal. Which we were thankful for. We ordered dessert which took forever to get. We had it to go. Tried it at home but nope!!! The flan was store bought cold and the fried cheesecake was ok. Now the manager who I believe was named Candace was nice and pleasant and asked us to come back again and ask for her. The server, no name was given to us. Was pleasant but not friendly. Maybe she was overwhelmed because she was handling a table of 6 to 8 people behind us and another couple on the other side. Will we go again?? read more

Long time customer of Los Hermonas locations. Happy they opened closer to us in Canton. Always a nice tex mex go to.

This was our 2nd time, the 1st wasn't the best but wanted to give it a 2nd chance. Definitely was disappointed. The service was extremely slow, and we had 2 servers. Our tortilla soups were cold, the table guacamole had no flavor, and when we ordered fajitas for 2 and for 1 the portions were the same but of course price was not!! Needless to say, we will not be going back and will continue to look for a better restaurant. read more

We went there this afternoon/evening for dinner, arrived around 5:30 ,the waitress too forever to take our drink order and bring it to us, 2 teas and a coffee, then after that it was another 15 minutes before she came to take our food orders, 1 chicken fajita quesadilla, 1 beef quesadailla, side of rice and beans, and our son got 2 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, It took over 30 minutes nearly 45 minutes for the food to come and when it did, it was all either Luke warm or cold, we sent it back to get HOT food and yet it still took another 30 minutes, it shouldn't take that long to redo an order because the waitress let it stay in the windows too long. They then came out and said our meal was comped, but at this time, nearly an9ther 30 minutes later, we still had no food! The excuse was "we had big parties come in and we are low staffed" .... the low staff part .. umm ...ok... BUT we got there WAY before the big parties came in AND we saw our waitress flirting around with tables that had ALCOHOL on them..... um no ma'am! Our money is just as good as theirs... its all green and spends the same.... Never again.. Do better!! No excuses!! read more

Probably the best Mexican food we have ever had!! El Jalapeño and carne asada were both excellent!! The chips and salsa (especially the green one) out of this world! Service was excellent! The enchilada soup was more like chicken soup but nevertheless it was delicious! I added a spoon of the green sauce and the it was Tex Mex lol I also had the #6, I believe, it was the bomb. Ambiance was great. read more

Service 10/10, our waiter Nevan was attentive and knowledgeable. He even told us about the farmers markets they have going on. Got the fajita quesadillas, chips and salsa and large Mexican shrimp cocktail for the three of us to share. Shrimp was so good and fresh, not fishy at all. Fajita beef quesadillas were delicious. We've never had a problem here and always enjoyed coming here to eat....until tonight. My husband and I ordered combo fajitas. When our food came out, it was only beef. We asked them to bring some chicken because we had ordered combo. They brought 3 strips. Then they charged us 5.99 extra for the chicken. When my husband politely (I was listening) asked them to take the charge off, the waitress replied that when we asked for the chicken she had to charge us. They both (we had 2 waitresses because one was in training) admitted it was their mistake but they still had to charge us. She kept interrupting my husband and was quite rude about us having to pay for THEIR mistake. After arguing rudely, the waitress asks if my husband wants to speak with the manager, to which he replies, "no thanks , you just have a blessed evening". Our friend that was with us did locate the manager on the way out and let her know what had happened. Hopefully, this type of thing doesn't happen again. read more

Everything we ate was wonderful. We loved the "make your own bowl"!! We also had the brisket tacos, beef enchiladas and fajita quesadillas. All the food was soooo good! leaving two stars for the service only, our server was quick polite, if a bit brusque. But then it's first Monday weekend and I am used to that and I'm not upset about the quality of service. What I am upset about is the quality of the food. though it arrived quick and hot and well presented, it lacked any kind of flavor that one would expect from a Mexican restaurant. I have had better flavor at Taco Bell. my husband ordered the beef fajita chimichanga. overlooking the velveeta quality of the queso, the amount of grease that emerged from the confines of his meal was excessive to say the least. I am well aware that chimichangas are deep fried and as such, some grease is to be expected. However; when the grease is literally dripping off the fork it does tend to leave a bad impression. I myself ordered the birria nachos, I have had excellent birria in the past, (at a different establishment) and was looking forward to trying these. my expectations of a good meal were very quickly suppressed. they were flavorless and tough, the few tender bites I had were surrounded with fat. which though it is common with the cut of beef used for birria, should not be put on a meal in a professional establishment. I did not finish my meal. even after baptizing the nachos in their watery salsa. needless to say our date night was extremely disappointing we will not be returning. read more
