Second time in a week. Good start with crispy unsalted chips and very fresh pico de gallo (not too much onion or jalapenos). This time tried the off the menu (?) chicken enchiladas con mole. Excellent mole soaked tortillas, but unusual that the chicken was grilled an on top of the rolled tortillas. Last trip my huaraches had the side of rice under the other fillings which is not a preparation I am accustomed to. Regardless the food, price and portions are good. It's tough to leave a mild review for such a local restaurant by Patterson Park, but it just didn't quite meet my standards. The wait time was incredibly long - took about 40 minutes for two basic plates of rice and chicken. One of the orders was actually incorrect as well, but we didn't send it back. Had dinner here on a Thursday night after an appointment at John's Hopkins. We were served complimentary chips and pico de gallo - my wife said it's the best tortilla chips she's ever had. We had carne asada nachos and the carne enchilada as entrees. The nachos were a huge portion, easily could've fed both of us on just that. The carne enchilada was flavorful, and the side salad came with more than just lettuce and tomatoes and it was dressed, a nice touch that doesn't come at most Mexican places. We visited Los Miriachis in the middle of June, 2025. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE. It's a small place; seating space was ample. Tables were clean and bussed right after people left. Our food came out hot and fresh in no time. We had a chicken and cheese burrito and chicken strip fajitas. Couldn't be beat! They make their own nachos and no salt which was perfect for us. Honestly probably the best Mexican place in Baltimore City. Im giving this a five star because the best Mexican food I've ever had is obviously in Mexico but it is so difficult to find a good Mexican place in Baltimore City . We've been to several and then finally one day we gave this place a try and now it's our go-to spot ! We love it . It's a hole in the wall type of place . Don't expect good service (the ladies are nice) but my Fiance speaks Spanish so I guess I could see the language barrier for some people here . I always get the mexican bisteca. Freken fantastic . The rice and beans are also very good as well . I've tried the seafood soup before too and it's good but not good enough for me to get it again. OK the service is slow and there little ambience. However, they have the best garlic chicken platter you'll ever eat. It is beyond delicious and everyone whoever eats it loves it. I don't even believe it's on the menu or if it is it's in Spanish and I don't understand the translation. My roommates and I ordered takeout for Cinco de Mayo and it was SO GOOD. The food was ready within 25 minutes, and everyone was happy with their meal. I LOVE their food! I usually get the camarones al mojo de ajo (Shrimp in garlic sauce), and it comes with beans and mexican rice. It is so fuflfilling, wholesome and satisfying that I really crave it when I am super hungry and craving something comforting. It's run by a family and they are really sweet. I usually go there for weekday late lunches and always get the best service. The chips are the best chips I have ever eaten in a mexican restaurant and the same goes for the salsa as well- always fresh and spot on. I also do just beans and rice takeouts from them as well when I have meats/proteins at home but don't want to cook the side dishes, and one large serving is plenty for two adults. I was curious what this restaurant had to offer every time I walked by back from my yoga class so I opened my handy dandy yelp app. What caught my eye was their nachos and that they offered a vegetarian option. One of my friends is vegetarian and she loves nachos so I took her here. We ordered the vegetarian nachos. Ok, so they're not playing around. The portions are huge. I thought that maybe I could make it to the finish line but I lost and nachos won. We should've bought a third person with us. An order of nachos that's $10-$14 can easily feed three people. We were waiting a bit before the nachos came out and I was wondering why it took so long just for some nachos but the veggies are made to order which includes carrots, onions, bell peppers, zucchini, and potatoes. I liked the potatoes a lot. Didn't expect potatoes to be on there. I believe their chips are home made. There's also refried beans, lettuce, and queso blanco, I think. This places is a fantastic hidden gem. I've been here twice and in both instances the food was excellent. They have vegetarian nachos that are a bit different than what you might be used to but really tasty. They're piled high with toppings so you never end up with a sad, topping-less chip at the end. Prices are also extremely low. When we came here with a group of friends the bill with the tip was around $15/person for way more food than we actually needed. It's also BYOB which is awesome. It does take a little while for food to come out so avoid this place if you're in a rush. read more

The only reason I would not give this place 5 stars is because of the language barrier between our group and the waitress. However, if you are looking for "authentic", hole in the wall type Mexican food, this is the place for you. Here is what we ordered: 1) nachos- which were amazing (tortilla chips are homemade and salsa is homemade) 2) steak burrito- the only down side is they melt two slices of American cheese on top which is not really appetizing. All in all, most at the table said they would not return considering the ambiance (hole in the wall) and language barrier, but I would.
