Sunday afternoon fajitas for two. Really enjoyed our meal. I think the flour tortillas were handmade in house. Not sure but our beef fajitas came out smoking and sizzling stacked on a mountain of caramelised onions & peppers! Drinks stayed full and our server was great. We were recently visiting Sulphur Springs and found this place on the square. They had good reviews on YELP, so we gave it a try. The staff was very attentive. The chips were fresh and the salsa was excellent. My wife ordered her usual....cheese enchiladas with Ranchero sauce. I opted for the nachos (half order) - ground beef, beans and lots of cheese....just the way I like them! The portions were really generous. Prices are fair. If we lived nearby, we'd be regulars. Nice place on the square in downtown Sulphur Springs. We stopped in for a beer and had chips and salsa too. Everything was delicious. The beer was really cold, and the salsa wonderful. The service was excellent and the menu looked good. We weren't hungry, but wish we had time to come back and eat there. read more

Came here for lunch after church. Came on recommendations from Yelp. The food came as ordered and hot. The service was great. The inside of the restaurant as typical downtown Sulphur Springs community. It is nice. All food was correct temp. Beer was cold. The work was great. Maybe a little too much chili powder. Everything was good. Restrooms were clean. Probably need some organization around the kitchen with all the paper goods and supplies. Just looks untidy. Overall a good experience. read more

Excellent food and service. We love Emma! However, the AC is not in working order, and it has consistently been 105 degrees or more for over two weeks here. The staff and patrons have to be miserable, especially in the hottest part of the day. It is dangerously hot, particularly if you are cooking in the kitchen. I recommend that the restaurant temporarily close until the AC can be repaired. read more

Limited choices for dinner on Sundays in Sulphur Springs brought me here, but I am glad it did. I pretty much eat grilled chicken and vegetables.... not always easy in a Mexican restaurant. The wait staff agreed without hesitation. It was great. Sautéed spinach, mushrooms, onions and carrots. I appreciated the flexibility and the flavor. The chicken was a little dry, but tasty. Hostess was rude, don't know who the guy was that asked for our drink order but he was chewing food while talking us. It was 20 minutes after we sat down when the waitress showed up to take our order. I ordered fish tacos that came with rice and beans but I didn't get them until I had almost finished my second taco I asked for a refill of my ice tea but never got the refill. My wife food order was missing a taco and it longer to get the taco then my rice and beans. Waitress was very quick to drop off the check and collect payment. Won't be back for the following reasons: Waitress did not write down our order and surprise got it wrong. Took forever to receive food. Order came with salad and did not receive it until halfway through meal. Waitress never asked or checked on drink refills. Once meal was finished we waited to receive the check and I finally had to ask for it. Noticed our waitress was in the back of the restaurant talking and laughing with other coworkers. Hostess brought us our check and was rude. The food is good here but the terrible service is our primary reason we will not return. read more

We had gone in to "town" looking for lunch and saw Los Mochis, we are both big Mexican food fans and pretty harsh judge's. Upon entry it did not appear "special", the menu was not "exciting", the chips and salsa were good but standard, however, the FOOD was AWESOME !!! (If you like hot, be sure and get some green sauce.) Probably the best flautas we've ever had, no kidding. The tacos, tried the chicken, pretty good. The carnitas, real good. The barbacoa, FANTASTIC !! We will for sure be making Los Mochis a regular stop now. What a great find in downtown Sulpher. read more

We almost didn't try Los Mochis after reading some of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad we did. I'm sorry to hear some others may have had a different experience than we did, but on our visit, the staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Our waiter Jack was prompt, and checked in with us several times, our food and margaritas were delivered quickly. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the Tacos Mexicanos with chicken, and both entrees were first rate. We love Mexican food, and both agreed that both kinds of tacos we tried were some of the best we'd ever eaten. We'll definitely be back, and have no reservations about recommending it to anyone. The only thing I'd like to know - and for some reason the staff didn't know: What is a "mochi"? Our waiter Jack thought the name was a reference to a city in Mexico, but wasn't sure. Hidden Gem in DT SS - We have been to downtown Sulphur Springs many times to other restaurants, but has a different go to Mexican restaurant until now! This is authentic Mexican food! I had the Street Tacos & my love had the Poblano Chicken. Both were more than we could eat, tasted great, service was very attentive. We also recommend the Queso and Salsa. Queso was thick and did NOT look or taste like instant or powder. Yay! Salsa had a great taste, but was not so hot that a tenderfoot like myself could enjoy! Definitely recommend, this is our new go to Mexican food place in SS, sorry it to so long to find it! read more

Good portions. The menu is a little chaotic but is pretty detailed. The lunch is almost at big as the dinner and it's cheaper. The price for the dinners are a little high at around $11. Good service quick with drinks and food comes very fast. read more

First time here, was driving through sulfur springs with family and stopped here instead of a fast food restaurant along I 30, best decision we made cause the food, atmosphere and service were great. Sat on the patio and even though it's 90 degrees out it felt nice cause it was shaded. Highly recommend this place and will be back next time we're in sulfur. read more
