Ari, Judith, and the rest of their team do the absolute best job when it comes to delivering exactly what their clients are looking for! I needed a new shower for the house my wife & I had just purchased, and Ari and his team showed up and completed the job in a record amount of time! Not only that, but Ari allowed me the opportunity to select & purchase my OWN supplies for the job, in order to remain transparent and prove that he was not charging me extra for the supplies I had gotten 100% from Home Depot myself. While Ari was working on my shower, he had sent me pictures of the progress of the shower (every step of the way) directly to my phone, and had suggested (only if I wanted) to add a ceiling shower overhead light (again that I selected & bought myself at Home Depot), since none was there previously. What an excellent suggestion because the shower tiling looks gorgeous lit up with the overhead light Ari had installed! :) Besides these amazing methods so far, he also had told me that there were a few boxes of shower tiling that he did not need, and that I had two options: 1) Return the unused boxes and get a full refund, or 2) Hang onto the boxes, and at a later time (when we were ready and could afford it) use the same exact tiling to redo our bathtub directly next to the shower (since styles frequently expire and are no longer remade by companies) so that the two tiling jobs match one another perfectly! What an excellent suggestion!! Well, I can't comment on how their service/work actually is because they never showed up to do an estimate (twice). I messaged them here setting up an appointment for an estimate for some work on my bathroom. They told me they would arrive between 3-5pm. My husband and I waited around all day, and they never showed. Nor did they call to explain they would be late or not coming at all. It wasn't until 7:15 that they finally called and explained their handyman was held up at a previous job and had only just called the office to communicate that to them. So we gave them a second chance and set up another estimate with them for the next day from 11-1pm. This time with the manager/supervisor. So again, we wait around until 2pm. Another no show. Another no call until 2:30pm. Their explanation this time was the supervisor was held up doing something and would be coming around around 5pm. At this point, we gave up. We said no thank you. Enough is enough. Be mindful of the other negative reviews. This company is not reliable. read more

My mother in law needed to send a container and a TV to the Dominican Republic. A lady came to our home to deliver the container. Her quote to us was $175 for the container and $250 for the TV. My mother in law had to pay her $15 for a cover for the container when the lady came to our home. In NY, companies provide the top. This was weird for us but we agreed. A week later, they came to pick up the container and the TV. My husband paid the amount agreed upon: $425. A few days later, the lady called us back, late one night, to tell us that the container had already been shipped. However, she claims that a new regulation had been passed that same day (what a coincidence) and we now to pay an additional $75 for the TV. We are livid that these people are so shady and unprofessional and they don't stick to their word. They shipped the container but didn't ship the TV, to their crooked convenience, and decide not to inform us until days later. I don't recommend this company and will never use them again. read more

I hired Los primos for my mom in November 2020, the Monday after Thanksgiving. New Floors, painting the whole interior, full kitchen remodel, and replacing a water heater. They finished September 2021. After almost a year, they had different contractors coming into my moms home, doing poor work, and no set schedule and consistency, We were patience and we didn't have a functioning kitchen and water running in the kitchen for months. We washed dishes in the bathroom sink, we prayed the work will be over soon. What was the last draw was when we owed $1700 and wanting to pay some bills before paying them, my mom asked for them to hold off on the last payment. After dealing with them for almost a year we thought we had that respect, they charged the card anyways and left my mom in a negative balance. You are dealing with 2 women who own an LLC and hire third party contractors, and handy men and regardless of their skill set they will be getting paid. I thought It was better to hire one person for all the work. I promise, I won't ever put my family in a situation where the have to rely on one company again. Los primos, are not perfect, they won't take their time, they won't be consistent, and they won't respect your home. Honestly I thought I wouldn't have to write this after having a heart to heart with the owner Julie/Julia/Judith back in May, but the truth is I'm disappointed. The house is finished. My advice is hire a contractor for one job, If they do it welll give them another. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. This city consistently disappoints. I am so glad I found this company. I have had horrible luck when looking for someone to complete handy work around my house. My unlucky streak has ended! I found Los Primos and they are absolutely amazing! They are respond and even quicker to begin the work. I called on a Monday and Wednesday they were there with materials, ready to work. They completed the work on my house and did a marvelous job. I added some more tasks and they even stayed until 11:30 pm to get the job done before I left on vacation. I am now using them once again for another project and again I am amazed by how quickly they responded and their level of professionalism. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! I requested an estimate from yelp for adding a ladder to my boat etc and Judith, (646 area code) reached out to set up a time. After the estimate got delayed a few days, someone named Ari came to take measurements and he was nice enough. He told me I would receive an estimate that night. I did not receive an estimate for 4 days and only after writing Judith multiple times did I get one. The estimate seemed fair and so I agreed to set up a time for them to come to do the work. They sent their agreement that required them to be paid prior to the job completion as well as a clause that allows them to subcontract out the work to a 3rd party. I explained to them I did not want the work subcontracted out and they said they wouldnt subcontract it, but they also want the right to do so. I then asked for their liability policy in case they damaged my boat while doing the repair (I only asked for such a policy because Judith kept asking more and more questions that concerned me they did not know what they were doing. ie asking me what tools they would need and if it rained the following day, if it would affect them from working) Judith replied that the price would be different if i needed a liability policy. THIS IS ILLEGAL! to provide one quote and then state they would need to change the price based on carrying liability which is standard for any handyman repair?!?!? I also saw in several other reviews them acting in a similar fraudulent manner, asking for more money after the job was complete. So in the end, It took me 2 weeks, multiple missed estimate appointments and dealing with a very shady character named Judith to be left in the same spot I started with. 1 star AVOID AVOID AVOID! will be letting BEtter Business Bureau about them as well read more

I went in bought a box from a tall lady spoke in Spanish with me (which is fine I speak Spanish myself no issues there) I told her that I would need them to pick up my box on Tuesday she got my address and cell phone number written down and when Tuesday I called and they told to reschedule due to some traffic issues (I didn't believe it but fine). Overall had a great experience with Los Primos Express. I had a nightmare experience with my previous GC and Judith her team came through to save the day. She came on a stormy Sunday none the less and was very quick to point out things that weren't even on my radar. She was able to give me a quote the next afternoon and was able to start a few days later. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because when I did a walk through of the finished work, there were some details that were not competed to my satisfaction. Now, after letting Judith know about them, she came in the next day took pictures and apologized and told me that everything was gonna get fixed ASAP. Not only were the issues corrected quickly and professionally, she even had my house thoroughly cleaned as part of their services. We used Los Primo's to help us load up our Pod. They were very helpful when trying to set up the service. Judith answered all my questions and believe me I had many! I changed my mind many times and in the end instead of getting a uhaul I got a pod. They showed up the day of the move a few min early. There was a bit of a language barrier but they tried their best and we were still able to communicate. They worked really hard. In the end the pod got full and we were not able to fit everything. Not their fault. I should have looked at the tutorial for the pod packing. It's a very specific way to get things to fit. And these guys are used to packing trucks. In the end they did their very best to fit as much as they could. We got the most important stuff in there. They worked tirelessly for an hour and a half passed the 2 hour window. They were very courteous and professional. And their prices are very fair. Definitely would recommend them to friends and family. read more
