The worst service I've ever experienced. The food is decent but the quantity is very very little for the price you pay and that's definitely not worth it. They take the wrong orders, then get upset at the customers. I told them I wanted to eat in the restaurant but they packed my food to go. I told them again that I wanted to eat there, and the boy said "sorry we can't unpack it again." WTH? He's sitting there like a couch potato playing his video game and he can't unbox the food and put it on a plate?? Another instance, my roommate went there and told them that she's vegetarian and they got her meal with shrimp chicken and steak on there. When she asked to return it they said she needs to pay for it. When she said no, they asked her not to come back. This place is going out of business very soon. read more

First and last time I ever go here We got lunch special number 1, carnitas, and this shrimp thing Carnita meat was old! I'm pretty sure they used canned retried beans.. the rice was over cooked and the cheese they use I'm pretty sure I'm going to have diarrhea. This place is a real gem! My husband and I are Mexican food junkies and we're always looking for authentic new places to try and this is definitely one of the best we have come across so far, and it's right in the heart of Greensboro! I had the lunch carnitas burrito with rice and my husband had a lunch special that included a mushroom quesadilla and a stuffed Poblano pepper with rice, (all of which he fully enjoyed). My carnitas were tender, juicy and probably the most well seasoned I've had. The rice was fluffy and also very flavorful. However, the real winner of the dish was the exceptional tomatillo sauce on top of my burrito! It was smoky, a little spicy and just all around perfect with the rich pork. We also split a tamale which were thick and perfectly cooked. And let's not forget the fresh chips and wonderful, smoky salsa served as you sit down. Incredible! Service was quick and very friendly and the place was extremely clean with homey decor. If you're in the area, forgo the expensive, uninspired restaurants on the lake and stop in Los Torres for a delicious surprise! read more

Listen to me ... You may be just passing through to get a quick meal and back on I-20 to where ever... This place isn't a good place to do it. The portions are "VERY" small, (look at others photos)the meal is less than average and you will stop again within an hour for snacks or even another meal. Save your money and your time. There is another Mexican restaurant within the next exit or just do a Franchise restaurant. If you do stop and you see the portions I advise you to not eat it and get up and leave because there will be hidden fees. read more

This place is not even worth your time so don't even stop. The time we waited to order was terribly long, when ordering we told them no onions and bell peppers. Our order came out fast only becuase we were the only ones in the restaurant but when we received our order all food that was ordered with no onions and peppers was a plate full of onions and peppers. Each meal was very small portioned, five bite minimum for our nachos and the taco salad was given with no lettuce. We just happen to be driving through the area and stopped to give it a try but we will no be back to this location ever again. They even charged extra for paying with a card but was not told that they charged extra. 0/10 do not recommend this Place. read more

We were passing through on I-20 and wanted to eat some real food. We saw Los Torres on Yelp and noted that it was just about 5 minutes from the Interstate. It was a good decision. They were very friendly and very fast! All of the food is home-made in the kitchen and served promptly and piping hot. It's not necessarily the greatest Mexican food you'll ever have but it is very solid and tasty - nothing to complain about in the least. I've been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants all over the world and it's sad to say but this one way by far the biggest disappointment I've ever had.... first off I ordered a steak chimichanga and all it came with was a tiny bit of steak the was not well seasoned or cooked. It tasted like if McDonald's has made it. And there wasn't even any rice. Explain that to me. My buddy ordered the California burrito and let's just say that's a disgrace to California. I've seen toddlers make better burritos. They were very small portions. They also charged us $2 extra then it was as on the menu. Excellent traditional Mexican right in downtown Greensboro. The salsa is smoky and spicy and the horchata tastes like Christmas. We ordered the parilla for two, which included an enormous skillet of beef, chicken, shrimp, carnitas (pork) and chorizo sausage with onions and peppers. It was flavorful, delicious and more than we could eat. The refried beans and rice were tasty as well. We'll definitely come back when we pass through town. read more
