Bland enchiladas Poblanos with almost zero sauce and no flavor. Pollo Tequilas tasted rewarmed. Only decent thing was the fajitas. We went to this place last night and had a great evening meal with friends. We shared a fajita between the two of us and our friends did the same. It was very filling and tasty. They gave us plenty of Nachos as well. The service was good. When we are here again, we will have to bring some of our other friends here. read more

We were traveling home, and couldn't find anywhere to eat, despite looking for over an hour. We finally settled on this place, since the online reviews only showed complaints about Service. We figured that we are pretty easy-going, so if the food was good, we would probably be a family that they would be nice too and service would not be an issue. Our server was nice, but spoke zero English so ordering was a challenge. We tried repeating, pointing to the menu, and confirming with him, and he did what he could considering the obvious language barrier, but food was wrong. We didn't say anything, as we had a feeling the language barrier would be an issue. It was a gamble that we opted in for. It appeared all staff we encountered did not speak English, which made it hard to speak with any of them. That being said, they were all patient and kind, which we reciprocated. Service was good. As for the food, I wouldn't recommend this place but in a pinch with nowhere else to go, I would go back. All the food tasted very low quality commercial. The salsa and guacamole tasted bland, and the salsas were an odd puree. The kids pizza, which I thought was odd to offer, is not good. It should come off the menu and be replaced with an Authentic Mexican pizza. You'd expect authentic music, but instead we listened to today's top pop. Yum Yum!!!! First, the service was wonderful... out waitress was attentive and helpful, the food was DELICIOUS..!! Love the family run atmosphere with vibrant decorations and authentic menu offerings. Ordered the dinner special which was rather large but gave me a sampling of everything. Disappointed by the actual food offering. Texturally everything was overwhelmed by beans, sauce, cheese and generic tasting ground beef. Really great Mexican Food. I read some of the more recent poor reviews and obviously these patrons don't realize the state of our current economy and the work force issues. Prices have gone up. Restaurants are having staffing issues all over the US. Patience is a virtue. Delicious Mexican food! I had the El Senor Burrito, easily the biggest burrito I've ever seen. The waiter said it was the 'small" one. I ho to the bathroom and my 13 yo son stays by the host desk to get out seat. When I come back they seated two tables aheaD of us and one more after I was by the host desk. I said something to one of the waitresses because the host desk was empty. She had a sarcastic tone so we left. It was clear this is a local restaurant and prefer to seat the people theY know rather than anyone out of town. This is the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in years! Definitely the best guacamole this side of California. Very fresh, not overly done, just letting the avocados shine through. I had the combo #3 with chicken - an enchilada, a taco and a chille relleno. All fresh, the chicken was juicy and tender, not like most other places in this area. My husband and I had takeout here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it, however last nights takeout was proof you never eat out on Sundays as the best chefs have the night off. The first time they had my veggie fajitas right, a mixture of onions, peppers, squash and seasoned very well. Last night was a bunch of vegetables thrown together with no seasoning at all, not even salt. Included in the medley was broccoli, asparagus, and carrots which DO NOT BELONG in a fajita, geez! When the waiter who said he was the manager and among a staff of at least 8 people, 300 square foot restaurant! brought the meal to the table I noticed a suspicious pile of lettuce and tomato.
