Facility met my standards and I trusted in the young female that I left my elderly dog in the care of. Credit cards anccepted written on the table in the office. All of this changed when I returned. My dog spotted me when I pulled up and ran to the fence and was drooling and hysterical and losing his hair. He was a complete wreck. I went inside. It was greeted by an older woman, with a terrible demeanor, not the person I left my dog with. The desk says they take credit card, but this woman said she didn't know how to take a credit payment because she said her daughter was out of town. She told me I had to pay cash, which I did not have. She said I would have to go to an ATM and get cash. I had to leave my dog was obviously in bad shape in order to get cash because this person was incapable of doing her job and refused to put my dog back in my care in exchange for my drivers license as collateral for payment. If you've never heard the desperate cries of your pet that was not being taken care of watch you leave again just after you arrived, it is heart wrenching, and absolutely unnecessary. When I returned, I handed her the money and she took the longest time possible, with attitude, before retrieving my lab. My dog was a absolute wreck. I do not know what happened in that building, but it was nothing that any loving pet owner would want. My dogs was falling out. He smelled horrible of stress and was a shadow by my side for days afterwards. Best part of this whole experience is when I explained to this woman, who claims she is the owner now, how incredibly unsatisfied I was but their care of my loved family member, I was called an asshole as she walked off. I told her I would be sharing my experience on Google and yelp, to which her attitude did a complete 180 and started apologizing profusely and begged for me not to write about my experience. This place doesn't care about your pet, they only care about reputation when they're called on it. It's so very hard to find someone that's legitimately cares about another persons pet and not just a dollar. Avoid this place at all costs. This lady is evil.

I wish they had a larger room to stay in rather than a cage but it is large enough for them to be together. Old dogs do mostly just sleep all day. One dog has a medical condition that requires medication and they always take great care to organize the medications timing and administration. The other is blind and doesn't eat when we are away so they started giving her pumpkin and rice which she loves so I now add that to services. All the people that work there loves animals. We have only had positive experiences with this facility.

We booked a different groomer this time, and right away she refused to groom my 50 lb shepherd mix--first because of shedding (which is exactly why we made the appointment), then claiming my 11-year-old dog was "too old." When I asked for a better explanation, the manager backed her up instead of addressing the issue. Meanwhile, my dachshund had already been taken back. When I picked her up--after paying a high price--it didn't look like she'd been properly bathed. She still had visible dander, smelled like she'd just been sprayed, and her feet weren't cleaned. It's hard to believe she received the full service. Before leaving, I saw my shepherd mix in the grooming area, calmly being combed on the table. Later, the manager told me she was "too difficult" and wouldn't allow grooming--even though she hadn't even been bathed. That didn't match what I witnessed. Between the poor service, lack of honesty, and overall treatment, I won't be returning. I'll be taking this complaint to upper management. I wouldn't trust this store or that groomer with my dogs.

He had been attacked by a few dogs and having him around other dogs was almost impossible. He was scared of other dogs and people and was labeled and an aggressive dog. I messaged JPK9 thinking I would be turned away. Within minutes I had a reply of Yes, we work with dogs like him, no problem at all. I signed Icka up for the two week boarding training. Drop off was smooth. There was detailed communication on what was needed supply wise as well as what I needed to work on to prepare myself and Icka for a smooth transition. Every day there were videos posted so I could watch his progress, and progress there was. He was heeling, sitting, laying down and staying. HE WAS WALKING WITH OTHER DOGS CALMLY WITH HIS TAIL HELD HIGH. Daily walkes and so much time put into him. He went into stores and was asked around other people and dogs. When it was time for me to pick him up from training I got a class myself on what to to and how to continue his progress, how to work as a team and be the dog handler he needed me to be. Right after pick up we jumped into a group class and practiced everything we have learned. They saved Icka from living his life locked away from everything. They gave him his confidence back and showed me how to continue his growth as a secure dog. I would 100% recommend JPK9 Montana for anyone's dog.
