Rabies shots are all that most groomers require, which they are current on, but they want flu shots, heartworm med (which we give the dog at home, but isn't good enough for the vet), etc. They do a great job grooming our dog, but we won't be taking them back due to the unnecessary things they require that cost a lot of money. When this was mentioned to the staff they did not seem to care. Very disappointing.

The first visit, the Vet didn't seem to see what the problem and didn't seem to address our concerns about the dog's excessive irritation. His tail was bleeding. Nose is bright red. Dirty and smelly. I truly felt like I was picking him up from a shelter. He was so scared and nervous, it took awhile to calm him down. His bedding is really gross and he needs a bath desperately. I feel like a horrible mom for leaving him here and should have trusted my gut feeling but we had no other option. The owner said they were full and that was reassuring. When we left there was someone there who knew the owners name and felt comfortable, but I still am kicking myself.
