But there's an ATM in the lobby. I've been to movies where the theater is empty and packed. During the winter (ski season) and summer rainy days will be crowded, so get there early when new movies come out. Otherwise it's easy to get a seat. They have the typical concession stand, but where they're different is they have a full bar, including local hard ciders and beers. You can't beat that. And some movies I've been to someone will come in during the movie to take your order. How great is that?!

The museum takes you on a full history of Vermont from Native American history to colonization, to their efforts in the American Revolution to statehood and beyond. As you begin it starts at a wigwam and as you walk through you are able to get the full story of Vermont. Their displays are excellent with plenty of artifacts which tell a complete story of who, what, where, when, why and how. If I remember correctly we only paid about $7 per adult person and it was worth it. They also have a small gift shop which had some great items to purchase. For the purposes of planning your visit it can take you anywhere from 1-2 hours to see all exhibits, maybe more if you really get into reading all the stories. I highly recommend this Musuem, you won't be disappointed.

I figured why not check them out online and see what's going on. I was easily able to purchase tickets online (using my cell phone even!) and pick them up at the event only hours later. The Stowe Theatre Guild performs at the theatre inside the town hall! And there's an elevator for those who need it since its upstairs. The price was reasonable for admission, and their performance was first class.. This isn't some community theatre group, everyone has performing experience and it was jut like going to see a major production in a big city. I saw the Great American Trailer Park: the musical, which was hilarious.For some reason I always get singled out, and at the beginning of the show, the character Duke was walking around looking for his missing girlfriend Pippi, and gave me a beer and had me sing the buck stops here, her "dancing" song. The entire audience had a great time, and I wish I didn't live 2 states away or I'd be going to their shows regularly. If you are near Stowe, this is a must stop.

Blush Hill is a short 9 hole track (3 par 3's and 6 par 4's), but can be deceptively difficult, even for a low handicap golfer. Greens are very small and very fast. The course is very well maintained and the views are second to none. Every hole has panoramic views of the mountains. As far as costs this place is a steal. On Mon, Tues & Sat you can play for just $1 a hole and add on $1 a hole for a cart. The course is fairly hilly (at least on holes #1 through #4) so if you walk you'll get a nice workout. If you are vacationing in the Stowe/Sugarbush area and want to bring the family out for a round, but don't want to pay $100+ per person for a resort course this is an ideal course for the whole family. Bottom line: this is a really fun course and a great value!
