The museum takes you on a full history of Vermont from Native American history to colonization, to their efforts in the American Revolution to statehood and beyond. As you begin it starts at a wigwam and as you walk through you are able to get the full story of Vermont. Their displays are excellent with plenty of artifacts which tell a complete story of who, what, where, when, why and how. If I remember correctly we only paid about $7 per adult person and it was worth it. They also have a small gift shop which had some great items to purchase. For the purposes of planning your visit it can take you anywhere from 1-2 hours to see all exhibits, maybe more if you really get into reading all the stories. I highly recommend this Musuem, you won't be disappointed.

The experience is usually very good, but sometimes you can hear the sound from the next theater, which can be annoying. The seats are Ok. The prices are reasonable, but they're cash only. But there's an ATM in the lobby. I've been to movies where the theater is empty and packed. During the winter (ski season) and summer rainy days will be crowded, so get there early when new movies come out. Otherwise it's easy to get a seat. They have the typical concession stand, but where they're different is they have a full bar, including local hard ciders and beers. You can't beat that. And some movies I've been to someone will come in during the movie to take your order. How great is that?!

I asked "why?" and he got snotty and just said no Im not letting you in here... No explanation,, So I said " Okay if I walk 4 blocks to my car in the snow to get my card will that work?" So that's what he made me do and miss 1/4 of the movie he just made me pay full price for, He ruined our entire night,,,What a rotten man with the personality of a poorly raised teen.

Newt at PE set up the speakers at the ceremony spot (which I expected), but then he also moved them from there to the reception location (which I didn't expect - I figured I'd have to have a friend do this). He also stayed for the entire wedding, which was great. I requested the two lapel mics the day before the event and PE was able to accommodate. I thought the prices seemed a little high at first, but after looking at the cost of the JBL 15" speakers it seems reasonable. The rental went very smoothly and I would definitely use PE again. My wife and I were married on May 20th at the Mt. Washington Resort in NH. Since we are from out…read moreof state we asked the resort's wedding coordinator who she would recommend for a DJ, someone that has already worked with the hotel, has good reviews, etc. Without skipping a beat she recommended Peak Entertainment. Once I went to their site, I could see why. Their site is FULL of great reviews. From the moment we signed on with them and even after the wedding with follow ups, Newt was incredibly responsive. He would sometimes respond to my emails within hours. The site explained that Newt has a few DJs that work with him and that we were not guaranteed any one person in particular for our wedding. Because of this I was a bit nervous. I scoured the site for reviews on different DJs, hoping we would get assigned one of the ones folks loved. But honestly, had to leave it to fate since we wouldn't know who were were having until just a few days before. On the day of our wedding, we met our DJ, Mike, who was incredibly sweet, professional and great at his job. While my wife and I were waiting in the foyer of the dining room, waiting to be announced, Mike popped out to introduce himself and to review our paperwork we sent in. He wanted to be sure he had pronunciations right, special shout-out songs right, etc. We instantly felt at ease. Our wedding was really small, just 46 people. We had folks ranging in ages from my 3 year old niece to my 84 year old grandmother. Mike ensured that the music was loved by all. Since the room was small and had the dance floor directly in the middle, it would have been pretty awkward to have an empty floor, but he kept it full and most folks did not leave it for the entire night. Aside from our guests having a great time, believe it or not we enjoyed seeing Mike have a great time. Any time we looked over, he would be working with a huge smile on his face. The museum is an ongoing "cabinet of curiosities" dedicated to celebrating the beauty and meaning in ordinary, everyday objects. From toothbrushes and safety pins to matches and dust, each exhibit is carefully curated with a mix of history, philosophy, humor, and poetry. It makes you stop and really see the things we often overlook. One of the most interesting facts we learned was about the humble pencil ... how it evolved over time and the crucial role it played in everything from education to art. Another standout was the exhibit on safety pins, which delved into their invention and surprising cultural symbolism. The atmosphere is quiet, intimate, and almost meditative. It invites you to slow down and engage with the ordinary in a totally extraordinary way. There are no flashy signs, no loud crowds ... just you, the exhibits, and a sense of wonder. If you are ever near Glover, this museum is well worth a visit. It was the perfect, whimsical way to start our day of exploring, and it left us seeing the world with a little more curiosity and appreciation.
