    NAC -Nacho Average Creamee sundae.

Love this place. Spending the night in our RV because they are a "Harvest Host". They have a wide variety of everything Maple merchandise. I loved their NAC (Nacho Average Creamee) ice cream sundae. They even sprinkle Maple Dust on it. Very friendly staff!! I recommend if you're near Montpelier, Vermont.

Really good maple creemees with maple dust! The third creemee we tried on our trip, and while it didn't live up to the pure goodness of Silloway Maple Farms' creemee (this one is a tad too sweet and vanilla-tasting), it still is delicious and the shop is adorable to buy socks, cards, ornaments and more.

We were here because it was part of our tour package to visit and tour here. It was a very educational and enjoyable visit. We learned so much! It was like taking a class on Maple Syrup. We had a special syrup tasting. There's also a souvenir shop. We missed the ice cream, I was outside riding the swing under a tree, taking photos of the fall scenery mountains across from the farm, and having my private moment! (While hubby was shopping for some hoodie & coffee cups, his two favorites).

The perfect place for a maple lover! Last stop on our trip in Vermont was well worth it! So many fun variations of maple. Being February, I was worried I wouldn't get the chance to try the famed maple creemee during our trip. This made my dreams come true by serving it year round! On top of all the culinary delicacies, I found a cute Vermont sweater that made its way into my purchases

After having the Morse Farm syrup with our breakfast at the B&B we were staying in, I immediately came to Morse Farm to pick some up to go. Unfortunately, we were only traveling with a carry on so could only buy ones under 3.4 oz that would fit in my Ziploc bag. I am so glad that they had a maple syrup tasting area as I originally picked up the light ones to buy only to find I enjoyed the darker ones better so got to switch. Being in Montpelier for an overnight last minute after a funeral meant I didn't have time to do research and missed out on the Maple Creamie. Too bad I can't get those shipped. I did get a quick walk in on their Maple Trail before rushing back to check out and head back to Logan for our flight out.

Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks is a local staple. It has been around for 8 generations and they make the most delicious pure maple syrup which is available for purchase in their gift shop. Also in the shop you can purchase Vermont souvenirs, cookbooks from Burr Morse himself, and delicious creamees. You can also do a free maple tasting to get an idea of which flavors you like. On the grounds you can also watch a video about the process of tapping maple trees. The video is captivating and comical as Burr Morse tells the story of the farm. The views are wonderful and there are trails to walk along on the farm (although we didn't have time for this). Give yourself about an hour to spend here. It really is such a wonderful place.

We were in the area visiting different sugar houses, and this one would be a fun experience for kids. They have chairs where you can sit and relax while enjoying your treats. We sampled their syrups and creemees, but unfortunately, they had my least favorite creamee. The ice cream was gritty and not smooth. This was the only sugar house where we didn't purchase any syrup, as it was not my favorite overall. However, we did buy some spicy maple nuts from here, which were delicious! I wish I had bought a couple of bags.

Came here with my buddies they are like my brothers. If you don't have any brothers that is ok go get you some. I got me some in my blood and in my brotherhood. This place is top notch if you with your brothers. My first ever creamie experience and we got the dust on it and it was crazy so crazy my buddies went back to get another and one of them got dust the other one said "no dust for me I already dusted up" Also they get you water cups for free which is big because I have been dehydrated the past couple of days. Dehydration is no joke I think our leaders of the country need to be more serious about it.

If you're in the area, be sure to stop by Morse Farms. I would however not recommend going out of your way to stop here. The store is nice and full of maple and other local items. Make sure to grab a thing or two of maple syrup. We enjoyed tasting 3-4 syrups at the free samples stand and learning the difference in flavor and why that was the case. The video of the farm and process is nice. You can walk up a trail and see some trees that are ready to be used to get syrup. Nice goats on property. I would only allow for an hour or so here!

Maple creemee with maple cookie topping / not on the menu but very fragrantly maple and totally hit the spot!

The best kind of farm store - very close to town, tons of nice local gifts for sale, a nice area to sit and relax out back, and a delicious, perfectly textured, boldly flavored maple creemee! The staff were so nice to let me order off menu - the tiny cone was plenty of ice cream, and I was able to top it with cookie pieces instead of sprinkles to get extra flavor and a crunch texture!

Surprisingly deserted on a Saturday in November, so most of the tastings and attractions/tour elements were unmanned. The store was open and gifting free small maple creamees, but since the shop was only stocked with cheap touristy items and not much worth buying, we were in and out in minutes and regretted the detour.

Absolutely the best maple syrup I've ever had. They have gifts, different types of maple syrup (light to dark!), and TASTINGS! I thought for sure I'd be a DARK maple syrup sorta gal, but was shocked to find I preferred the medium color way more for day to day use! (The dark tasted a lot more like honey) Definitely take some photos, there's a huge view of beautiful trees from front door. PLUS a mini version of the GORGEOUS Vermont state capitol building to take photos in front of. If you're in Vermont, DEFINITELY visit! They also have "Creemees" (ice creams), but ran out of maple just as we arrived, so I can't speak to it!

I have stopped at several farms, historical buildings, etc. on a "taste of New England" bus tour. This one is hands-down the most enjoyable and informative. Most impressive of all, the gift shop is diverse and reasonably priced!

My husband and I booked a room (non refundable) as soon as we got off the phone with Amy. She text me the next day saying that she looked it up that night and my gift certificate had expired. I checked everywhere for an expiration date and there was none. She then blamed it on whoever printed the g.c. She did try to give us a few dollars off but honestly we were only going because it was free and it sounded cool as both my husband and I have been around gardens and farms all our lives. This was about a five hour trip for us. Thank goodness we found other things to do and we didn't have to forfeit our room as well! In the future, I would suggest that the expiration date be clearly PRINTED out on her so called gift certificate. Can't post without leaving a star so that's the only reason it's there.

Weather got a little hariy getting there with the slushy roads, but we made it! It's pretty remote location with no street lights, so if driving in the dark look for the signs to get there and trust your GPS. There's a large parking lot across from the entrance to the little store/shop. The shop is actually the owners old family home I belive. We arrived pretty much at closing time, but we were still welcomed warmly. We got a cheese & maple syrup tasting which was yum and informative, and the staff member that did it was really nice, I forgot her name, but see photo below. One of the cheeses has won a cheese competition, very cool. We also got to meet the owner, but she was busy getting Christmas orders together. I perused all of the cheeses I wanted and settled on 4. We got to try 2 out of the 4 from the cheese sampling. The nice lady that checked me out even gave me some nice to-go samples as well. The smoked cheese was my fav, and the sage. But I enjoyed them all. I was able to easily fly home to TX with them due to the cold weather of the season. After the tasting, we got to peruse the store. They have so much other stuff to buy in additon to cheese and maple, tons of knick-knacks and gifts and merch. We didn't get to explore the farm after since it was pitch black when we left, too bad. Enjoy!

No other syrup…read morecompares and I always go out of my way to visit anytime I'm anywhere in the greater New England area! Sadly this year I didn't get to visit New England - but lucky for me Sugarbush ships nationwide!! So I tried it out and ordered some of their syrup and my fave cheeses. Ordering online via their website was super easy. I ordered my fave dark variety of their maple syrup and 4 cheeses: horseradish cheddar, jalapeño cheddar, sharp cheddar, and Monterey Jack. Their horseradish cheddar is my absolute fave - a wonderful kick of the spicy horseradish blends so well with their rich cheddar. I really love the jalapeño cheddar too - packed full of flavor with just the right amount of kick - not overwhelming but enough to taste it. The other two were great as well - you can definitely tell their cheeses are made fresh on site - flavors are just next level compared to industrial-manufactured cheeses from the grocery store chains. And the maple syrup is also in a league of its own - nothing mass-manufactured from any grocery chain holds a candle to the rich, complex flavors and velvety texture. The syrups also last quite a long time so I'm able to keep my stocks full yearly! Since I was ordering cheese with a long way to travel, and it was still quite warm in parts of the US, their website suggested adding one of their insulated shipping boxes for an extra fee of $8. I didn't want to risk ruining my cheese so I did and all arrived in excellent condition! They pack it in extra insulated styrofoam with ice packs. So it's definitely worth it imo. Next year I'll be in Maine in October so I'll definitely be planning an extra day or two to pop over to Sugarbush on my way back out haha!! See yall next fall!
