I secured a weekend an appointment to ensure I could stay awake as long as possible and not sleep on my face and ruin my lashes. Prior to the appointment, I received a reminder email and text. The email had all the information I needed to know as a first timer including parking and checking in. Meter parking on the street is easy peasy. I got the lash, lift, and nourish. I use to get my lashes lifted in Cali and did something similar. The process took about 1 hour. If you wear contacts, I recommend wearing glasses to your appointment. Super happy with my results! Especially since I stop wearing makeup during Covid. This is a great pick me up and always make me look fresh.

My Unintended Nail Adventure…read more I've been on the fence about writing this review, but I feel I must spill the tea on my nail escapade. First off, let me just say, Abby, who did my pedicure and manicure was sweet. But bless her heart, her inexperience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I fear someone else might get caught in the same storm. So, I'd been to this place before for a pedicure, and it was lovely. Fast forward to late April, I decided to return for a manicure (no polish) and a classic gel pedicure. I had gel on my toes beforehand and specifically asked her to be gentle with my nail beds (the grinder scares the bejesus out of me). This time, Abby was in charge, and let's just say, it was a bumpy ride. She went a little rough on the larger nailbeds, and I had to ask a few times for her to be more gentle. Not clean, and the toenails were not smooth. The polish job was a disaster - messy, uneven. I probably should have got up at that point and just left, but I figured how bad of a job could it be to just have a manicure. Abby clipped, grinded, and filed my nails with such gusto that my fingertips ended up sore and raw. She didn't bother trimming the hangnails either, which was odd. I don't know if was laziness because she was the only nail tech in there, and I overheard that she wanted to escape (someone rang while I was there to try and schedule a 5pm appt, which she declined). A week later, when I went to try on rings, I noticed something odd. The nails she worked on were lifting or something bizarre was happening. I freaked out and asked my doctor about it. Turns out, it might be something called "Onycholysis" - a fancy word for "your nails are rebelling." It's painless but looks like a disaster. I've never experienced anything like this. I thought about going back to the salon to explain what happened, but honestly, it seems like more trouble than it's worth. So here I am, sharing my nail horror story. I will not be returning.
