When my hairstylist moved a few years ago I had to find a new one, which was super stressful for me. I stumbled upon the Lotus Den's website by accident while I was trying to find a different salon that was recommended. I decided to just give them a try because of the clear pricing on the website and the ease of booking online. I randomly chose Katy because she was available at a time that worked for me. This turned out to be the best choice! The Lotus Den has a great atmosphere. I always feel welcomed. I am always greeted and taken care of the moment I walk through the door. Katy is a fantastic stylist. She started working with me from where I was as a customer, no pressure to change my cut or color. I didn't have the formula for my hair color, but Katy was able to match it. She makes suggestions, but never pressures me to change. Each visit is relaxing and the service is amazing. With Katy guidance, I am now a lighter hair color that looks natural and is so much more flattering on me. I recieve so many compliments. I feel like I fit the Southern California vibe now, while still rocking brown hair. My hair color looks natural. The one time I wasn't completely happy with my cut (I requested loads of layering and then hated it), Katy re-cut my hair at no charge and made me feel like it was no big deal, even though she had done exactly what I had asked with the 1st cut. I feel like Katy always remembers me and that continuity of Service keeps me coming back to her. Katy even does my teenage daughter's hair now. I watch the other stylist while I get my hair done. While I plan to stick with Katy, I think the cuts and color I see on other customers look great. This is a salon I would recommend to anyone looking for a salon that will give great color, highlights or cuts. I especially think this is a great choice if you're looking for a salon that rocks that awesome Southern California vibe without it feeling forced or kichy. read more

Kaylee completely butchered my hair. The cut is completely uneven lengthwise and she said that she'd only thin out the ENDS a "little bit" so that it would sit right. She thinned out the hair on my entire head. She took so much hair off that now not only does it not sit right, it's also SEE THROUGH. I'm devastated. This is the worst haircut I have ever had.
