I understand that cost of goods are increasing so prices have increased but they wanted to charge me for my nail shape because since I got builder gel, they have to reshape them after and the almond shape costs extra. I was able to dispute the charge but I just don't understand why filing my nails is not part of the cost of the job. They're usually pretty nice and the space is clean.

I always enjoy a nice mani before a special event. Usually they clean and trim your nails and all that wonderful stuff.. the thing that bugs me the most..is the fact they trim a little too much off the cuticles!! ughh.. But hey at the end your nails look decent yet with a few burns here and there. Whether it's a wax warmer so I can wax my own eyebrows (far more preferable than having it done at the strip mall - and much more accurate and cheaper!), or just to pick up a brush and a comb as I did yesterday. Like a fool, I've been buying my combs and brushes at Walmart the past few years. After returning from a business trip, I realized I must have left my lone comb in my hotel room and stopped by Sally Beauty to get a replacement. I LOVE my professional comb. Instead of a cheap $2 comb at Walmart, I spent $5 on a professional ceramic ion comb (no static in my hair!) that feels great because the teeth of the comb are better designed. I HEART the comb and brush I got and threw my old brush away. I also ask for advice at Sally Beauty on what hair products to use to get a certain desired effect. They are always kind and professional here.
