When I called to inquire about the charge, I was immediately offered a refund. However, my concern was never the amount itself. The issue is transparency. Customers should be informed of any additional fees before a transaction is completed so they can make an informed decision about whether to proceed. There was no signage posted at the register, and the fee was never verbally disclosed during checkout. Additionally, staff engaged my minor child in personal conversations regarding her appearance without first addressing me as her parent. As we were leaving, we were also repeatedly encouraged to leave a 5-star review, which felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. Businesses have an obligation to be transparent regarding pricing and fees. Undisclosed charges, even small ones, undermine customer trust. Came in in the morning and there was only one other person in there with me. It was very quiet, clean, peaceful and relaxing. I wanted a new set because my old one was growing out and I had a wide range of options. Both techs at the salon was kind and did an amazing job. Both work together: one tech took off the old powder and had my nails soaking while he finished with his previous client. Once a second tech finish, he came over to my station and started working on my new set. Kept everything I wanted (length and shape) and did an amazing job with the finished look! Super impressed. They help you choose the right color for your nails, and they are very patient and kind. When Nancy does my nails there (I dip them in powder), they last at least 4-6 weeks with no chipping. She does exactly what I want. The manicure and pedicure are wonderful and I love the massage, too. I come here once a month just to relax and enjoy the day (and to get gorgeous nails also).
