She has been doing my daughters nails for the last year and is great with teenagers too! Racist business. I took my kids and their friends here as a birthday treat. They are tweens so I gave them money and waited in the car for them. They came out excited and beaming about how fun it was, except my older daughter. I could tell she was upset. The girls went on to tell me the techs ignored her and refused to let her go first, instead they made her go last, even after they all insisted she go first. They were kind and sweet to all the girls except my older daughter. When I spoke to my younger daughter, who looks white, she immediately told me that they were racist toward her sister, she could tell immediately . This is something that often happens to my children since one is fair like her dad and one is darker like me. The reason I even gave them two stars is to be were kind and polite to the white girls that were with her, giving them extra designs and being playful while ignoring every comment my daughter made. Disgusting behavior from the staff. All they did was make excuses when I confronted them at the end that she had polish on and that's why she want last, they all polished their nails together a few days before this. Pure BS. I normally love going here with the welcoming atmosphere ,but today i was very unsatisfied . Today when I got there i was greeted at the door to check in; a few moment later was sat down by the owner. Then she started doing my nails when an employee of hers came in; she rudely told me to go to another station with the girl that just went in, so i showed the new girl my inspo picture and when it hit to the time for her to do it she tried to do it but with help of me and her coworker of how to do the design she was stubborn in her ways, so I told her to just do french tips instead. She could barley see or hear me when i told her this, then she rolled her eyes at me and ignored me the first 2 times i've said it. She very rudely grabbed my hand to wipe it off then she got paint all over my hands and took a drill to my hand to take it off. She cut me multiple times. All of my french tips were uneven and so were my nails. I do not recommend to go here unless you request the owner or tommy! read more

I called at 5:30 to see if they could take me for an acrylic soak off and gel manicure. They assured me that they could. The nail tech immediately cut my natural nails under the acrylic which I asked her not to do and began drilling. After drilling one hand, she asked me to soak the first and began drilling the second. Within three minutes, she took the first hand out of the acetone and began drilling again. There was barely any soaking off done. Her method was to use the drill to take off all the acrylic which of course did not work. When she stated she was done and my nails still had acrylic on it, I knew she was trying to rush me out so I opted to no longer get the gel mani. As I paying, I showed the woman at the cash register what I was left with and she offered to cut the down and blamed it on my nails being brittle. I informed her that not only do I still have acrylic on all my nails, the length is inconsistent and my nails are cracked. I will never go back. read more

I literally was abused the entire time I was there. I'm from out of town and needed to go get a dip and pedicure. First they are so rough and don't listen to anything you say. The lady who did my pedicure cut my toenails to numbs and my big toe is raw and sore. The who did my nails keep twisting my hands, sanding my nail bed which I kept telling her those are my real nails. Told me I had acrylic nails which I didn't. It was a terrible experience. And had the nerve to tell what to write for the tip and calculate it like im a 4 year old. If the regulars like abuse great but I don't, I would not recommend this place. I got to this salon around 5pm. The girl told me it would be about a 15 minute wait & I was cool with that. So I was playing around on my phone & realized 30 minutes when by so I was like okay if they don't come over in 10 more minutes I'm going to go. A boy came over at 5:39 & tells me I can pick my color then walks over to the table to start my manicure. I pull out the chair at the table & there are a bunch of acrylic nails on the ground. I was stepping on them to pull out the chair & sit down. I asked him if he was going to sweep them up & he said that they don't normally sweep until the end of the night. So I guess I was expected to sit there with my feet on top crunchy clipped nails? I tried to kick some of them out of my way but then decided to just leave. I personally use "Kim" and "Lynn" and Yen herself has also done my nails as well as her husband. I've never been disappointed at this salon not even once. I scheduled an appointment for a pedicure in advance and was promptly led to my seat upon arrival. The staff was nice and they did a great job. My sister also got acrylics with a flame and they turned out beautiful!! They were also doing a great job enforcing the proper wearing of masks. read more

I went to lotus nails after looking at their Facebook this past week and was impressed with the designs they posted. My usual salon was too busy this day. When arrived the lady acted like she didn't understand what I wanted when all I asked for was a dark burgundy gel polish change. We sit down and she begins to file my nails brushing my skin roughly with each buff. When it was time to begin the paint, she chose a bright candy apple red. After I showed her picture of the dark burgundy color I wanted. I thought maybe after a coat or 2 it would get darker but it didn't. I told her I didn't like the color but she didn't stop. She then said "if you don't like it you can change it in two weeks" I couldn't believe it! Then the owner brought over the color I ACTUALLY wanted and and she finished painting. I asked for a gold line across 2 of my nails which she didn't do. I then asked "are you going to do the design? She had totally forgotten. So then she had to go back and re do it. Again. When it was time for me to pay she said it was 35.00 for a gel polish change on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. I handed her my card which she charged 45.00. I said " I thought u said it was 35.00? You charged me 45.00." Of course she said it was a mistake but I knew she did that because she KNEW she wasn't getting a tip. Which she wasn't going to and didn't after my refund. I would not recommend this place. The photos of their work is misleading. The owner Yen is talented but she doesn't care how her staff acts or if customers are satisfied. Do not spend your money here. I've been here 3 times getting a filled manicure and I feel the quality of product and service has gone downhill. My nails have lifted and chipped after multiple fills. I'm not sure if there trying to cut costs with supplies. Also last manicure took me 2 hours to complete. It's a shame because the salon is clean and staff are polite. read more

After going here for some time I just feel as if quality of service as dropped. I had scheduled an appointment early in the the day with them for later in the day a full set/ Pedi. I wanted two simple design on my Nails and apparently there is only one lady that does the design you see on FB and even with my apt they didn't know if it was gonna be an hour or more to wait for her to do two designs. After my full set was done I thought I was gonna get my pedi NO! They were done with me I left with only my full set that last me a week because majority of the nails were lifting. It's really nice on the inside, but after my friend and I got our toes done here, our feet started peeling really badly for no reason. They rushed us through our pedicures and didn't let our toes dry for nearly long enough, and now both of them are smudged. The choice of polish is also not nearly big enough. I got a pedicure about a week and a half ago. The pedicure itself went ok (nothing special just your typical basic pedi, although the nail polish was not applied to well), but when I got home and started walking it felt as if the bottom of my feet were burned. It hurt to walk and hurt to touch. A week and a half later my other foot is still hurting, and the nail area of two of my toes is beginning to feel the same pain. I don't know if I had a reaction to the wax they used or what, I just know it hurts. read more

I would have given lotus nail salon zero stars if I could have. My daughters acrylic nails with gel polish all popped off within a week, my acrylic nails with gel polish were peeling off and the nail polish was chipping within 2 days and the paint job looks juvenile, and finally my mom had a pedicure and manicure with gel polish and it was chipping the next morning so she went back to have them fix them, which only lasted another day. I was VERY disappointed by the nails and by the service and it was not cheap to get 3 ppl done there. Won't be back. I get my nails done somewhere else every other week and have never had any of these problems. We chose here because we all needed it done for a wedding, and it was convenient for my mother. I went to get a gel maincure and the manicurist first cut my finger, second was only paying attention to who was walking in and out of the salon, third would stop and have conversations with the other manicurists, and fourth did such a poor job shaping my nails when I went home I had to file them to make them even and smooth. On top of all that the tools were not sterilized and I saw her just rinsing them under tap water before using them on me. I would not go back here, $30 for a poor job.
