Then she gouged my cuticle last March and blood went everywhere. The biggest problem was that she seemed unclear how to keep my blood from getting on all the brushes and buffers she continued to use on me. It seemed she was trying to avoid her co-workers from seeing what had happened. My finger was still bleeding when I left the salon and was swollen and sore for days. I reluctantly visited again but requested John for my pedicure and my toes looked great but had his head turned towards the television most of the time and mumbled nothing more than "is this your color?". He didn't he acknowledge that I was on crutches which seemed somewhat rude considering I'd been coming here for years. Maybe he was having a bad day but it felt dismissive. Being treated politely should be an simple expectation for a salon to meet considering people go there to feel a bit pampered. They definitely fail to fulfill that on a regular basis, not to mention the blood contamination concerns. I don't look forward to coming here, so I'm sadly going to be looking for another salon.

Then when I would make an appointment 5 weeks in advance: one time tech called in sick so they waited till I got there to tell me they couldn't do me that day, then there were 3 times I had made the appointment in advance and the tech pushed me off on someone else. My friend had referred several people to this salon, never once did they thank her or offer her any compensation for her recommendations , they could have at least given her a free visit or coupons for discounts off. Needless to say I am done with Lush Nails. I will not recommend them, they don't treat their customers properly. This was mentioned to them and of course they denied it. But I have found a new salon: BAMBOO NAIL SPA. They have treated me properly. When your running a business you need to remember your customers are paying for a service, and with that service should always be respect of that customer for their time and consideration is just as important as the next person and yours.

I normally expect a gel mani to take at least an hour, but I was out of there within 35 min! I The place was clean, nicely decorated, and the staff was nice and friendly. They give you a loyalty card and once it's filled, you get a free french manicure, or $5 off your next visit. I'd definitely go again, and I'm happy I found this place. I tried this place out the first time the other day for an acrylic fill. The service was nice and the workers were exceptionally friendly. The woman doing my nails was very sweet. However, the process seemed pretty rushed!! Took only about 30-40 mins once It was my turn. After applying a new acrylic coat, the nail technician did not push the sides of my skin down before the acrylic dried, so it stuck to my skin and burned pretty bad from the quick friction while she was filing and shaping them. I'm not satisfied with the end result either... the shape (coffin) itself is decent but the paint job especially is very messy... access acrylic that wasn't shaven down didn't look neat. I've noticed a lot of good reviews about this salon, but from my own personal experience, I've had much better and more satisfying experiences with various other salons.

I don't think you "get your money's worth for the service provided in comparison to other Nail Salons in the area. The pedicure was performed quickly. The extent of a "callus treatment" was someone rubbing with a pumice pad a couple times and them putting callus treatment lotion on my feet before leaving; 3.) The tools used were not sanitized/cleaned before use. For my pedicure the individual performing the service did not get a "fresh pack" of tools out. In fact I did not see a sanitizing cabinet. She grabbed/used the tools from the previous customer for which she performed a pedicure. I was actually disappointed in myself for not saying something. I definitely will not return for any services at Beauty Nails.
