So much to say. When I was there the lady was nice but her chest was exposed a little to much and was right there in my face. This isn't the beach or getting a tan outside. I asked for something and got told that's what she did but it wasn't. I have gotten sns since it came out, multiple different salons. Typically I can go 4-6 weeks on a set doing hard manual work so they get beat up. My nails chipped, cracked, broke and lifted all within 4 days of getting them done. Let me start this review off with the fact that this is my first time writing a review good or bad. I'm usually not one of those people to take time out of my day to write bad reviews and sometimes I'm to lazy to write a good review However after contemplating I decided to write this one. This was one of my worst experiences at a nail salon. I will say the walk-in was easy and i was just coming in for a fill-in which i thought was simple enough. The lady started normal with filing but she didn't dusting them off, she would've glued a nail on with the dust from the nails if I hadn't of stopped her. I'm not one to complain so I didn't say anything. She then put on the acrylic way to thick, she didn't shape my nails the same as my other nails and when I tried to ask for them to be the same shape she had an attitude, then proceeded to file them super hard. So again I'm not one to complain I didn't say anything but I did make up my mind that this had to be the ABSOLUTE WORSE nail salon I've ever been to and I wouldn't be back but still I didn't complain, I stayed quiet. She then proceeded to put more acrylic on super thick and then didn't shape them afterwards, still I said nothing. When I picked out my color she made a weird face, continue to ask me if I was sure about the color several times and then the lady from the front desk stood over her as she painted my nails laughing. I still didn't say anything. The thing that set me off enough to even write this review is the fact that she put the acrylic on soo thick that after almost a full month later I can't get the nails off. The ones that did come off have ripped my real nail off to the point of bleeding and seeing my nail bed. I usually don't complain and I hold my head high and keep it moving. I'm really upset because my nails were super long and the pain from having to rip the nails off has made me very sad. If you're reading this review to see how good this nail salon is...STOP and run somewhere else. They are the most unprofessional, unskilled nail techs I've ever seen. WoRsT aCrYLiC nAiLs EvEr!!! Please read before going here. I am an avid acrylic nail wearer and I have tried salons all over Raleigh. This salon, by far, is the WORST I have ever tried. I had acrylics on my nails that needed to my taken off and redone. The nail experience did not start off well, the lady used a fake nail tip to pop/rip off my pre existing fake nail instead of soaking it off like it is supposed to be done. This ripped up layers of my natural nail and left my nails throbbing and in pain. She then glued on the new tips but ended up gluing my nails completely to my skin. Then she cut my nails with kid scissors, not nail clippers. She filed them to the shape I asked for, coffin. She then laid on the THICKEST layer of acrylic I have ever seen. The acrylics was too runny and dripped everywhere. Throughout the whole filing process I kept asking for them to be shorter, and thinner, and nothing was done. The acrylic is bumpy, on all the nails, and the edges were not filed straight on some. There are chunks of acrylic and glue on the bottom of the nails. The edges and corners of the nails were so sharp that I deeply scratched my leg when picking my phone up off my lap. I work with children so my nails CAN NOT be dangerously sharp. The paint job wasn't good either. The sides are almost completely bare and the tips were never sealed with top coat. I can honestly say, that throughout my years of acrylics, these are THE WORST nails I have ever gotten done. I am, honestly, so disappointed because the reviews on this place were so good. I tried this place out because it was supposed to be cheaper than my usual place but it ended costing me the same amount. Right after I walked out, I called my regular salon made an appointment to get my nails fixed before this holiday weekend. I am completely dissatisfied with my entire experience. read more

3.5 stars. I went in as a walk-in and got a gel french tip manicure. They were quick to accommodate me and shaped my nails very nicely! The only downside is that it came out a bit crooked overall. I wish I could have caught it before they completed it, but the person working on my nails didn't talk to me or check in to ask if I liked how everything was turning out. I would still return though because it's so close and convenient, and I still really enjoyed the pedicure I got before. read more

I've been coming here for about a year. I've had pedis, gel manis, and waxing and I've been pleased with all the services provided. They are wonderful with rescheduling and take on walk ins. Everyone does a wonderful job and can take care of my needs. My personal favorite nail tech is June, but everyone is qualified. They are all warm and friendly. I've taken a few of my girlfriends here whenever they want to get pampered, and they enjoy the quality service and fair prices. I constantly get compliments on my nails thanks to their color selection. I've even had a technician tell me to come in before my next appointment if my nails started to chip once I told her I would be working with my hands a lot over the weekend. read more

I had acrylic nails with gel polish done here (Loved them) then I ended up taking those off at home (a week and a half after I got them on).I came in to get a manicure and gel polish done. I had a great experience. This is one of the only nail salon that I have been to that hasn't made me feel bad about having short nails. They even went back at the end and filed away the gel polish that was on my skin that sometimes others leave behind. I love this place. read more

If you have an appointment be prepared to wait 30 mins. If you a walk in expect to be left waiting hour plus before someone finally asks what you are there for (again). I left earlier this week because my appt couldn't be kept and just walked out after watching 4 walk in get taken before me without them even signing in I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and have learned the hard way although I keep hoping they will get better at customer service. Update: Kim replied stating there was not enough people working and they were behind. I disagree! I was asked to come back in 30 mins-which I did. I was asked to leave my number. I only left after the second person came in asking "do you have time to do ......" and was taken back without signing in during the 40 extra minutes I sat there. When I stood up and crossed my name off the list there were 5 people below me already taken back and the 2 walk ins that never had to sign in. I was referred to this place by a friend and I can't thank her enough!! The establishment was well decorated with inviting colors that instantly made me want to be relaxed. I had a pedicure (Replenishing Spa) and an eyebrow wax. Van my technician was awesome her attention to detail was very impressive. My particular pedicure was citrus based and having fresh oranges added to the water made for a very aromatic experience. I can't wait to go back!!! Lotus Nail Spa is a great place for pedicures. I have come in many times over the last few years. I am usually a random walk-in when my toes need a treat from time to time. They're always busy (in a good way!) when I come in but are very accommodating and the wait is rarely long. They offer many pedicure options, starting with a basic spa pedicure at $25. Today I had their new Citrus Infusion Spa Pedicure for the first time. Fantastic! Very relaxing and appropriately priced at $35. 1st visit was not bad, second visit was horrible. Another person soaked off my nails, but when Kim sat to do my nails, she was very aggressive with my nails and didn't speak. I kept trying to hold conversation with her, but she was only giving me one word answers. I also had to ask her 3 times to cut my nails back because they were too long. I needed my nails done because I was going on vacation, but if I wasn't going out of town, I would have walked out, after the first 5/10 minutes, I really didn't want to pay her because of the way I was treated, but I did.. Also someone asked her about doing their Eyebrows, she looked at them and rolled her eyes, didn't even answer back. I will NOT support places like this, so I will not be going back! read more

I really was hoping that this would be my new permanent nail salon after trying so many salons without success but after several visits this is not the location for me. The owner Kim does a good job but her customer service skills were lacking to my taste. I dont think she has ever thanked me for any of my visits or even seemed the least interested in my business at all. I was disappointed she kept telling me to choose a color but i told her i wanted it and told her i couldnt find the color and she didnt help me at all. Then i got another girl she was amazing and so nice and laughed with her and she actually communicated with me and talked about things she was amazing i love her. next time i come i am going with her. Kim had some teen girl doing her nails and was laughing with her and speaking with her i dont know like she had a problem with me and didnt want to talk to me very rude with me. I asked a simple question and never got an answer. i cant believe it. thanks the other girl she fixed it and wasnt in a hurry and helped me choose the colors and gave me some ideas. I love my nails and feet. this was 2 months ago. Would strongly NOT RECOMMEND for lgbtq, poc, or ppl in support of. They continuously mis-gendered me and tried to force me to pay a price for something I did not ask for. My pedicure here (I got the lavender pedicure) was enjoyable! Massaging chair, nice jets in the foot bath, exfoliation, massage, and polish were all good, and the staff was nice. But I'm giving this business a 1-star review because they DESPERATELY need better ventilation. Honestly, I would have turned around and left the second I walked in if I wasn't meeting a friend there. The fumes were really bad and really strong. There are a lot of other nail salons in the triangle that do not have this problem, and I would recommend going to one of them instead! read more

Customer service is everything!!! They did a wonderful job making me feel good about spending my money in their establishment. I had a finger nail that was damaged and Van was able to fix it without causing discomfort. She even went far as saying if my finger starts to bother me I can come back and have them repair it at no charge. I will definitely be back to see June and Van. read more

Not sure why others are displeased. I travel over 30 mins to get to this location. The staff I have known for over 8 years. Have followed them. Kim is by far the best nail tech in the area. They do an excellent job taking care of me. Upon my return I see customers from my last visit. Even ones from their old location are here. The management and crew have the customer best interest at heart. If something is wrong with your nails they will make it right. Just ask. I arrived at 1:03pm for my appt and after 25min, there still wasn't anyone to complete my service. I just told them nevermind and left. Staff was extremely friendly and personable. I went in for a gel polish. So far so good. Nails are still holding up and not peeling. My cuticles are extremely dry and she was nice enough to apply extra moisturizer. I will go in for a gel polish on my feet next. read more

Terrible pedicure.... The gentleman I had was in a hurry and lacked attention to detail. The last thing he wanted to do was be there and it was all over his face. Meanwhile, he kept trying to take the skin off my heal and my foot was dry. Was hoping for a relaxing experience and it was the opposite.
