The women at the front was very nice and friendly, she took the men first as they were all getting a manicure/pedicure. All the men enjoyed this. The women including myself were getting just a manicure with gel. The women I had was Great. Although she didn't talk unless she wanted me to move my hand a special way, she did a Great job. The other girls in our group had good workers except one- our daughter had an older man doing her nails - he cut he 3x she was even bleeding still when we left and her nails were not good- chipped after a couple of days. Tan is extremely thorough with his work. I chose a color yesterday that didn't suit me or what I truly wanted. He got done with everything and my only issue was the color that I chose. (I chose a green that I thought was dark but turned out to be really bright). It is a nail color that I can't have for work, so we scheduled to get the color changed the next day. Today is the next day, and he did amazing covering up the old color without a fee. (I got them black this time). I got the BOMB pedicure for $45 and it was the most rushed service with such a rude and angry pedicurist. His name is Jonny and please avoid him! He was in a rush to leave and made it very obvious. My daughter and mom had two ladies who took great care of them. My daughter got a delux pedicure and her pedicure lasted 30 min longer than mine. I ultimately sat and did my own scrubbling of my feet while he watched since my pedicure was done so much before the rest of my party. It's a shame bc I didn't have time to waste on a bad pedicure. I had such a great experience until I went to pay. I've been living in this town for years and get my nails done at least twice a month and never have a paid as much as I just did for my nails. They told me chrome was an extra $15, which is the highest I have EVER seen chrome cost typically it is $10 not ever anything over that. I now know why they offer new customers a discount. Let me start by over sharing the fact that I have not done a pedicure on myself in like 15 years. As such, I have become the Rick Steves of nail salons. Too far? Ok but seriously I'm qualified and have the receipts. There are a few places I keep going back to because they aren't mega packed, they are reasonably priced, polish stays on, they don't skimp on the massage and they are CLEAN. You would think that last one would be a no brainer. This is one of those awesome places that has all that. And they play HGTV on the TVs 24/7 so I don't know what more you could ask for really. Someone really did their marketing research and I applaud them for it. My nails were in a terrible state but Kevin did an excellent job on them. He also had the perfect balance of allowing time to just relax and talking to me - very friendly but not overly talkative. I've been going to LeNail for several years and always got good service. This past Friday I called around 6:00 and asked what time they closed, which is 7. However they told me to come ahead, and I got a much overdue pedicure. We had difficulty getting the old polish off only to find out that my last pedicure I was given gel polish that took a lot of scraping to get it off. I wish I could give them negative stars. My experience here was absolutely awful, I have never had a worse experience getting my nails done! I went in to get my acrylics taken off and new ones on. The lady I had tried ripping off the acrylics instead of soaking them at first and she split my nail in half, it hurt so badly, I was trying not to cry. It started bleeding a lot and she was about to try ripping at it again so I told her I wanted them soaked off. When she went to use the electric file, she kept hitting my skin and making me bleed. I went in for a gel manicure and a regular polish change for my toes. The place is beautiful and clean. The tech was nice and took the time to help me find the colors for the look I was going for; however she was on a video call for half the appointment. She was a little distracted because I had to stop her from putting gel polish on my toes, after I'd clearly explained more than once I wanted regular toe polish. The prices are good, and I was happy with the look as I left the salon. My dissapointment came 6 days later when all of the polish peeled off of my fingernails. I know gel polish doesn't last on everyone; however at every other salon I've visited it's lasted over 2 weeks. Even nail wraps, home gel manicures, and glue-on nails last longer on me. Normally I have a very tough time taking gel polish off on my own. I believe they used very low quality and/or old polish. The only upside was this polish didn't damage my nails when I easily peeled it off. read more

The WORST manicure I have ever had. I was asked if I wanted my nails trimmed, I replied "yes I like them shorter" so the technician proceeded to clip them so short, some were down to the tissue, as in below the tip of my finger, as in the whole white tip of nail removed. She probably trimmed 1/4" or more from my nails (I had plenty to work with). She took all of 30 seconds to clip and file the nails, as fast as humanly possible. All 10 nails were different lengths, all 10 nails were different shapes, all were rough on the edges. She NEVER had me wash my hands, she went straight into painting after removing the paraffin wax. She did a streaky terrible job, then the paint began to form ridges. She said this was because the drying fans were "too strong" and the ridges would go away as the nails dried. I brought in my own polish (OPI - Mimosas for Mr.&Mrs.) and granted the lighter color is harder to get perfectly even, it's NOT hard to NOT make it look like a zebra. She moved me to a different fan and tried to fix the problem by smooshing my nails flat and spot painting. Needless to say this only made the unevenness and the streaking worse. After sitting for 15 minutes under the dryer, the nails were still completely goopy. I told her I thought it was because there was still wax and lotion on my hands, it was too greasy and the polish wasn't setting. She told me the issue was my polish was "too thick"....the same OPI polish every nail salon has all over their walls and the same polish I brought in to a different salon last week for a pedicure that turned out beautiful. I asked her to remove the polish and I left. She still charged me full price. I'll be going to a different salon tomorrow to try and fix what's left of my nails. read more

This is my neighborhood nail salon. I never go anywhere else because they are so great. I get the dip powder on a biweekly basis and get pedicures there every once in a while. The pedicures are definitely worth the trip! They set a timer to ensure that you receive the full massage as advertised on their menu. The dip powder on my nails always comes out looking beautiful and lasts! Today I went in because I had a broken nail (my fault, I'm surprised and pleased it was only one nail that broke!) and they repaired it so quickly and didn't charge me. The establishment is DISHONEST and you should avoid when possible. I had a pedicure on 9/23/2022 and I was charged $36.05 for a $35 spa service. When I questioned the red head receptionist, she told me that there was tax on the services. I informed her that there is not state tax on personal spa services. She then called another female person to resolve the matter and insisted that they were permitted to charge tax. I called on 9/25/2022 and the person informed me that they charged me 3% for using a credit card. I intend to report their conduct to my credit card but there are many nail salons that do a way better pedicure and who are more transparent then these swindlers. Very quality pedicure that is over priced. Very little attention to cleaning the toenails. This is a cattle call where they get you in do a rushed, poor quality job and then charge you for using a credit card without telling you in advanced and then lying by stating that the fee is sales tax. read more

Disappointed my gel nail polish didn't even last 1 week. 30 is a lot to pay as well for what I got.

Went to them to put acrylics on and they did but didnt do anything with my cuticles so the acrylic didnt last as long it normally would if they had pushed my cuticles. A few weeks later i went to have them remove the acrylics and put on the powder. They took the acrylics off by jaming a fake nail underneath the acrylics and then cutting them off. This hurt really bad and I let them know but they didn't stop. I told them to use acetone because that is what every other good salon i have been to has used. They were mocking me. I should have just gotten up in left. My nails hurt for a few days after that because of all the trauma. I'm never going back there and I don't recommend them to anybody that wants to get their acrylics removed or redone. read more

I went out of my way to patron this place because I felt one of the technicians did do good work, however, when she would not make time for me on the day I worked in Raleigh, I went out of my way and made it a point to try and come on my day off all the way from Sanford! I admit I missed my appointment and had to call to reschedule, due to taking an elderly friend to Dr. However, I did come again, on my day off, From Sanford only to be told I had the time wrong, which I do not agree I was wrong! Regardless! Never was I given a phone call or anything! I show up and am told no one will accommodate me for 2 hours! I have a full gel fill and pedicure so I spend quite a nice sum.
