They are on the second floor of their building, super easy to find. I appreciate that they always keep their availability open up until the appointment time. Often I can only make a last minute appointment since I never know how my schedule is going to go. I usually always try and see Ellie. She is really meticulous with her brow work. The aestheticians are the BEST. I do not recall who I saw at my first visit, but (it was either Dawson or Helene), but she was the consummate professional, The salon is meticulously clean, they stay on schedule, I've never had to wait, their points/reward system is generous, they do not 'push' product, and their fees are incredibly reasonable. Their location is convenient, and parking is ample. I highly recommend Sweet Pea. Ellie has been my waxing specialist for months now, and she is superb at her job. When I showed up there was a gas leak in the building so I had to leave immediately. I have been to Helene five or six times now. Can I just say I will never go anywhere else as long as I can get myself to her?! First things first, she's incredibly clean, uses a hard wax (I think is what it's called), always has recommendations for products for post-wax care (I have very sensitive skin), and is great about not letting any little stray hairs get away. She is meticulous, you're absolutely getting your money's worth. More than that, she's a great person. I'm a nervous talker and she never makes me feel weird, she just keeps right on with the conversation. She was the first wax I've had since a random time in college and she took the time to explain realistically what the experience would be because YES it hurts the first time. This was by far the best wax experience I've had. Helene is so kind and welcoming; she immediately made me feel comfortable. She uses only hard wax for brazilians, which I prefer. I seriously barely felt that I had even been waxed afterward and by the next day my skin felt 100% normal and there was no hair left behind. I'm also 8 months pregnant so I am always worried if the estheticians will know how to handle that and Helene knew EXACTLY what to do and had a plan for everything. It was so easy. Her prices are very reasonable too and she works quickly and efficiently. There are some waxing salons around Raleigh that really overcharge for brazilians.
