They even packed the leftover catering food and any decor/items in the getting ready room in our truck. I come from a background of event planning and Kimberli and Carey and the team at OGR checked all the boxes and make planning and executing your wedding day flawless. My husband and I felt so taken care of on the day of and all of our guests were texting us the days after saying how it was such a wonderful event - all thanks to the OGR team. The ceremony was on a grassy area with a beautiful alter facade. The reception area was truly the showstopper. The view was beautiful all around. There were archways everywhere you looked with the most scenic Hill Country views you could ask for. The dance floor protruded out one of the archways so that you could dance under the stars. Truly breathtaking. My only complaint was the terrain. The area where we had cocktail hour, as well as the walk to the ceremony, was very jagged and rocky. You would not believe the staircase down to the grass. There were rough steps and wobbly branches as handrails. The reception had flat cement floors, but again, the outside bar area was very hazardous in heels. The bride and bridal party had cowboy boots on, so this was mainly the brides fault for not including this bit of information about the difficult terrain in the invitation. Apparently many guests were aware of this, but as a plus 1, how was I to know? Something should have been mentioned in the invitation, or on the bride and groom's website.

To say they go above and beyond is an understatement! I think Leslie even managed to turn down the June in Texas heat for the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception! My kids loved playing on the grounds, in the pool, and in the very kid/family friendly game room within the hacienda. If anyone is looking for a fantastic wedding venue where lifelong memories can be made with family and friends close by, you will not go wrong with Rancho Mirando.

The room was cozy and thoughtfully set up with a mini fridge (perfect for storing leftovers), a coffee and tea station, and an incredibly comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the mornings. The bar and brunch alone are worth the visit. Everything we tried was amazing, but the stuffed French toast completely stole the show, hands down the best French toast I've ever had. We also ordered the tostadas, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, and every dish was full of flavor and beautifully done. The mimosas were just as impressive; I tried the guava mimosa for the first time and it was so refreshing and delicious. To top it all off, the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Sometimes they have live music, and you can also head out back to relax by the fire, which really adds to the overall experience. It's peaceful, charming, and feels like the perfect escape. This is truly one of the best places to stay in Wimberley, and we can't wait to come back.

We had brunch at the kitchen and it was perfect. The Bloody Maria was a refreshing start to the day. He got the bacon breakfast tacos, served with with guacamole and salsa. There is a huge miscommunication between them two; mixed messages. No kind of accommodations are available. I did not enjoy interacting with them overall as I felt rushed and they just came off as entitled/unprofessional. They speak negatively about people instead or reaching out to them directly. They have a belief of they host "weddings", not "parties/celebrations" and are unaware of cultural differences. Pam is adamant about receiving a list for EVERY single detail such as when the bride/groom is getting ready and when everything happens when they weren't present the entire time to SUPPORT the event. That's the job of the coordinator. For the price overall of the venue/limits and the amenities and accommodations, this place is overpriced.
