We had such a relaxing and beautiful stay from start to finish. It truly had everything you could need for a comfortable getaway. The room was cozy and thoughtfully set up with a mini fridge (perfect for storing leftovers), a coffee and tea station, and an incredibly comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the mornings. The bar and brunch alone are worth the visit. Everything we tried was amazing, but the stuffed French toast completely stole the show, hands down the best French toast I've ever had. We also ordered the tostadas, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, and every dish was full of flavor and beautifully done. The mimosas were just as impressive; I tried the guava mimosa for the first time and it was so refreshing and delicious. To top it all off, the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Sometimes they have live music, and you can also head out back to relax by the fire, which really adds to the overall experience. It's peaceful, charming, and feels like the perfect escape. This is truly one of the best places to stay in Wimberley, and we can't wait to come back. read more

Beautiful grounds with several spots sprinkled throughout the grounds to gather. Nice simple & themed decor, I loved the bright and colorful throw pillow. Clean towels & plenty of them. We had brunch at the kitchen and it was perfect. The Bloody Maria was a refreshing start to the day. He got the bacon breakfast tacos, served with with guacamole and salsa. I had the avocado toast which was topped with microgreens and radishes! It was tasty, filling, and fresh. Looking forward to our next stay here. And can't wait to use the pool this summer! read more

We went for brunch this morning with some friends and sat outside. Two of us got the eggs benedict, one got the breakfast sando, and my fiance got the avocado toast. To drink, our friends split a carafe of OJ mimosa and my fiance got the the 75 days of sunshine and I got the bloody mary (not the bloody maria on the menu). Everything was really good. I was probably most impressed with the benedict and avocado toast and the chorizo stuffed olive they used in my bloody mary was my first time having one and it was really good. Service was pretty solid too so really no negatives overall. The property is pretty. They have a koi pond, a fire pit, and a pool you can buy a day pass to use even if you don't stay there. read more

Brunch at the end of our stay was a nice touch! I ordered bacon & egg tacos that came with salsa, queso Fresca, and avocado smash (a scoop of guacamole). She ordered the avocado toast which was very colorful. The Maria Maria drinks were nice (bloody Maria with tequila). The bed had two different firmness of pillows per person. My third stay for a reason! I love the modern decor of the rooms set against the creekside setting. 3 min to downtown but tucked away. Great bar open 4-10 with unusual drinks made with local ingredients. This last time we stayed atop the bar in a 2 queen bed suite. Very spacious, with super comfy beds. We had a fabulous stay at the Wimberley Inn! I went with a friend for a girls' weekend, and it was the perfect place to stay. It is walking distance to the town square (with lots of restaurants & shopping). We spent most of the afternoon at the pool and it was absolutely beautiful. Casual setting for locals & guests but a bit pricey I'm a local, so I haven't been an overnight guest at the inn but I enjoy going for brunch or cocktails. The intimate dining room is Instagram worthy and usually feels very private. The bar is very cool but it feels hidden from guests - it would be great to be able to sit at the bar and have a mixology class! It seems like this place is still a "best kept secret" because as people are battling crowds and parking spaces at the square, we always find the inn to be fairly quiet. I must say after always having to deal with the lack of parking in South Austin, the very last thing I want to do is deal with parking shortages in Wimberley! Service is always friendly and usually the food is prepared very quickly. The banana pancakes with walnut maple syrup are delicious. Unfortunately, they recently updated their menu and my boyfriend really misses their juicy burger. I hope they tweak the menu again to expand on some regular options - it seems lacking in appetizers and desserts. And a happy hour or daily drink special would be nice! While they have several outdoor seating options, the mosquitoes are very aggressive so bring bug spray and find a nice breeze. I have a backyard pool so I haven't tried their day pass but I'm curious to see what people think about the pool and day pass. Overall, it is always a nice time at the inn but the menu needs to be expanded. Food is good but not great and a little overpriced. read more

Great place to stay! This is the only place we will stay in Wimberley. It is clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated in Texas chic. Included in you stay, they have a gorgeous pool that has a bar with light fare open 10am to 6pm. This shaded clean pool also has shuffle board and ping pong set up. The hotel bar has a delicious food menu and drink menu. The food portions are good size and we have had brunch there in the past that was excellent. This time, I had a Toasted Almond cocktail made from Amaretto, Kahlua and cream. So delicious! They played a soundtrack of eclectic music from the past which was just loud enough to hear, but not interrupt conversations. If you have not been to Wimberley before you should know that the sidewalks roll up around 6:00 pm, except at a few high end restaurants, so this is a great bar to finish out your evening. read more

This is an absolute gem. The vibes are the Rosebud Motel if David Rose used all his apothecary aesthetic to revamp. It's a charming property. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is our second visit to this lovely place, but it will not be our last. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The staff is friendly, but they also have contactless check in/out if you like. There is a gorgeous pool you can use as well. We had drinks and appetizers at the bar and they were all delicious! You don't have to be a guest to enjoy this cute bar. read more

I had just a fantastic time at the Bar side of the business. It was a brilliant January evening - not too cold, not hot. We got there just as a band was warming up. Usually a band/singer in a small place means you are going to be blown out by the acoustics. Not to bad. The place was small on the outside deck, maybe the fire pit below would even be better. They also had inside seating with a bunch of sofas, but I'm too much of an introvert for that kind of awkward experience. The waiter was overloaded because it doesn't take much to pack this place, so pick your times carefully. The drinks were very, very good. The food was upscale bar food, but hey - we were in a bar! Started off with some pimento cheese & bread. Wow that was good. The chutney was the best part. I then had the pecan pesto with a skewer of chicken. It was really enough for two. Way too much pasta for me. 1 skewer of chicken was just right. We then had the special dessert which was a chocolate bourbon ball. It didn't hit for me, but they did incredible work with it. What an unexpected gem! My daughter treated me to an overnight stay at the Wimberly Inn and it was just awesome! We had one of the suites (there are 3 over the bar/restaurant) and it was clean, comfy, and HUGE. (Would be perfect for a girls trip) There is a really nice pool/bar area (I guess it's open only for the season - Memorial Day to Labor Day) that would be a welcome respite from Hill Country heat. The bar/restaurant area is so cute with a great outdoor patio and live music in the evening. We enjoyed drinks there on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. (Don't skip the lemon ricotta pancakes - YUM) Our server Mel was the best - very accommodating and hardworking! The property is walkable and beautiful - just a total surprise from the road. Do yourself a favor and book a room here the next time you plan to be overnight in Wimberley. We will definitely be going back! read more

This Hill Country resort-inn has Modern Mid Century finishes...where Urban meets Hill Country! Super clean, updated with gourmet,coffee,teas,ridge- great mattresses and robes provided too. They have pet-friendly rooms and a dedicated pet station with plastic bags and trash. The entire grounds are thoughtfully laid out with smooth sidewalks and trails. Plenty of decks and out door spaces for family and gatherings. A wonderful bar and restaurant too! Convenient to the downtown square. read more

We stayed at the Wimberley Inn in October. The overall decor is a quaint, Texas theme. The room had cement floors and minimalist, simplistic taste. The shower was spacious and the Wi-Fi was good. The AC unit was slightly noisy but not much you can do about that. We took a look at the pool and it was great! The rain had come though so the chairs were wet and we didn't lay out by the pool or pool bar. Looks like it would be great though and the pool also has a bar. The drinks at the small bar were good. My only complaint would be lack of staff, which is not the staffs fault of course. We ate breakfast and it was tasty. Service was poor due to a staff member calling in, but the person on staff was doing everything and it was busy, so he thanked us for our patience. The only bad thing about this place was the bathroom had a musty / sewer smell? Not sure if its the concrete floors or what. We left the fan on the entire time though to keep air circulating. If we come back to Wimberley, we'd stay here again. Quaint little town but gets busy and not that easy to park. You can walk to the square from the Inn, but there are no sidewalks and it can be uneven on the side of the road. Would not recommend walking for older people or people with a stroller. read more

I have not stayed at the inn but enjoyed the best Sunday breakfast. Havana Day cocktail was excellent and the Farm Hash Benedict is my NUMBER ONE restaurant breakfast. The hash rotates with the seasons. I was there in January and the hash was breakfast sausage, roasted corn, and roasted butternut squash. Flavors were so well paired with the cornbread muffin, poached eggs, and hollandaise. I am a self-proclaimed Eggs Benedict snob and this tops my list. I live in Denver and, alas, cannot visit the inn regularly. i have worked out the cocktail at home but don't think the breakfast is possible to duplicate. Fresh produce and someone to cook for you cannot be replicated at home. Four months later and I'm still waxing poetic about the meal so gotta be a winner. read more

This is basically a glorified motel-- For $350 a night. It was nice that we could bring our pup, but you can also bring your pup to la Quinta and save $200. I guess they are banking on the Texas hill country ambience, but as native Texans, you can do much better by finding a Vrbo in Wimberley that would be much more comfortable than the motel rooms here. Great little boutique hotel close to Wimberley town square, the Blanco River and Blue Hole! With a parking pass and wristbands, you are able to use the pool and private Blanco river access at their sister property, 7A Ranch. The rooms are adorable and the property is beautifully landscaped, and even has a restaurant and bar on property! The cocktails and food were delicious after a day relaxing in the sun at the river. There are multiple decks around the property to sit and relax under the stars. Customer service was impeccable; they texted us frequently asking if we needed anything and even carried our bags to our room. They will also be opening up their own pool soon. Wanted to love this place. I had the biscuits and gravy, gravy was cold, biscuits were flat and not good at all. My wife and daughter both had the French toast, decent flavor, but way over priced. Didn't get refills on my coffee the entire meal. All and all it was a $70 brunch that didn't reflect that in service or quality of food, honestly the worst brunch experience I've ever had. read more
