That matters. Because we all know how often women are gaslit, dismissed, or punished for speaking up- especially when we confront power structures that would rather protect their image than their integrity. So to every woman who saw what I saw: thank you. You validated the truth. You made it known that I wasn't alone. This is the dirty work- calling it out and refusing to be silenced. Though the emoji reactions were reset because I updated my review, the impact still stands. Photo included. ----------------- In response to their public statement - here's what they're leaving out. And the receipts. I wasn't going to respond but the level of gaslighting, dishonesty, and audacity to act like being a "premier" club gives you permission to treat clients like they're beneath you- that's exactly the rot at the core of your brand. Clearly I struck a nerve, since you chose to respond only to my review, while ignoring others with similar concerns. I was charged $336 for a month of access and then banned days later with no paperwork, no warning, and no refund until I followed up myself. Their claim that the refund was issued "as a courtesy" is laughable. It's illegal in California to take payment for services you won't render. Let's keep it real: Had I not demanded my money, they would've kept my money. That's not courtesy. That's theft. Even more outrageous? They publicly claimed there was no accusation of me receiving free training. When in fact, in their own email dated June 30, they explicitly wrote (Photos included below): "Whether formal or informal if you are working with a professional, you are receiving uncompensated services... Those sessions were not permitted." And again, you went even further: "Your complimentary workout sessions were not limited to one incident." That's direct accusation, twice. So which is it? Because if you're going to lie publicly, at least make sure it doesn't contradict your own written words. I'm embarrassed for you. I'll leave the emails here so you can refresh your memory. The receipts speak for themselves. Worst part, the harassment I reported was labeled "disruptive." Instead of addressing the behavior of their new general manager (who stalked me and gossiped about my personal life), they retaliated and victim blamed. It's abuse of power. It's ugly and disgusting behavior. And as for the wild claim that I make "malicious accusations across multiple businesses"? Go check my review history. I leave thoughtful 5-star reviews for businesses that treat people with respect. When I call out bad behavior, it's always backed by evidence, JUST LIKE this one. They're so upset I told the truth and didn't back down. Stay mad. Bottom line is: There was no inappropriate behavior on my part. I reported harassment. I asked for a refund after being charged while banned. I stood up for myself and they hate that. This gym does not care about member safety, their response doubles down on being dishonest, gaslighting, smearing and retaliating. I stand by every word of my original review and clearly I'm not alone. Now I have even more proof to support it. Screenshots available on other platforms if Yelp filters this.

Brian is great, in that he not only offers brand new 2022 motorcycles to practice on, (CRF 250F's) but the gear is also available if you don't have it. I'd highly suggest a class prior to buying a motorcycle, and also always start on the dirt, before street as you can crash without consequence. Instruction was great, he not only provides basic instruction on how to ride, what body position and stance, but he also watches you throughout the day, giving suggestions. For me, it was about staying out of the seat, an old habit I have from riding street bikes for 35+ years. We probably did 30 minutes or more of instructions, and several hours of on bike practicing drills, etc. Is there a better motorcycle instructor out there? I have not found them. I like that Brian offers instruction on private land in Boulder Creek, instead of sharing space at Metcalf, etc. Excellent teaching, I still hear Brian in my head telling me to stand up, butt back, in a ready position. Super cool dude, up brand new equipment, and a private riding area to ride, what else can you ask for? I was already riding dirt bikes for 25+ years before taking the class, and I definitely learned some things, that I wish I had known all along.

With only 4 classes (and more counting) under my belt, I find x2o Elite as a compliment to my current workout regime. I do Pilates a minimum of 4x week and having been doing so in 3 years, I feel like I've plateaued even with the various styles of trainers. Enter x2o Elite. It's a circuit style workout formated at 50 minutes, 5 students, and 1 trainer which honestly, the optimal size for me. It can't get any bigger (maybe 1 more) given the cozy size of the studio. All trainers have a friendly approachable and KNOWLEDGABLE style and there are various offerings: HIIT & Burn, Lift & Burn, Sculpt & Strength utilizing a squat rack, treadmill, free weights, TRX, SKiERG, etc. I did notice that there are only so few 5lb and 10lb weight dumbbells because... I'm weak and if there's another weakling like me-we're competing for use. There's also a cool little sauna which I don't know if/ when we can use? More of an observation rather than a comment: unlike the other studio, you can no longer get any visibility on how many other students are in your class (I hate beign a loner aka focused on lol). There's a restroom in the back. tl:dr: solid weight training gym for those who need guidance/ correction but don't like to get focused on the entire time. They do offer 1:1 if that's something you're interested in. No classes on the weekends (for now). Bring your own water bottle, wear proper shoes, and come ready to WERK.
