If youre like an upper novice powerlifter and youre like me, this place is 3 minutes from my house…read moredriving, theres a bathroom, shower, and its like $13 to get out of the house 3 times a week. Before this I was spending exactly the same amount of time doomscrolling on my phone per night. The staff are all absolute sweethearts, theyre always working and cleaning. The bathrooms are gross in ANY gym, it can get gnarly here but I've never had to do the big one here. You just need to accept that. Everybody says hi, the entire PF stigma around big lifting is completely unfounded for this location. I go 2-3 wheels on the big lifts and nobody cares, no stares, didn't set the alarm off. It makes noise when I rack it. Nobody has ever once spoke to me. I'm on week 7. It's only going to get bigger. The price is so cheap I've literally paid $26 to get a 3 plate deadlift which is the best ROI of any money I've spent. For the past 2 months I've belong to multiple gyms at the same time to feel them out. Not only do more expensive gyms have less equipment, that is maintained very poorly, or the entire place smells Indian as hell (absolute deal breaker 9000), but then you pay $60, it closes at ridiculous hours so youre dealing with a morning or after work stampede and I do not rushing or asking if someone is still using something because everybody has their own journey and they have a right to take their time and enjoy their privacy. So after my first two months of belonging to 4 gyms simultaneously for a trial week, PF is actually the winner (Anytime/24/Barbell/PF)

I thought that was very strange for a place you typically go to, to get healthier... I also thought it was comedic and amazing in it's own right. My neighbor also got in trouble for grunting when he was lifting weights. I dunno if they still have the no grunting rule, but it's kinda hard not to make noises sometimes when you workout. Not my style of gym because I need more space to stretch and do air karate, but it seems like a nice enough clean gym as long as you don't make a lot of noise while working out. What if you meow while working out?

The gym is still…read morefairly new, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the equipment is in good condition with everything I need for my workouts. There are just a couple of things I wish were better. First, I wish they had longer operating hours, especially on weekends. I actually ended up getting a second gym membership because I sometimes work out later in the evening when Crunch is already closed. The other downside is the restroom setup. They use shared (unisex) bathrooms, which isn't ideal. Since people shower there, the floors are often wet, and because there are only a few bathrooms, it can get crowded with lines--especially after group classes. I've learned to avoid peak hours because of that. Overall, it's a clean, modern gym with a great atmosphere, and the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. If they extended their hours and improved the bathroom situation, it would easily be a 5-star gym.

No traditional men's/women's locker rooms. Lines can be very long. Water filter oftentimes need to be changed in the water dispenser. Overall, I'd say it's better than most gyms since it's newer. It's also centrally located, with a Safeway conveniently in the same plaza. Group classes are oftentimes using up the turf area, blasting extremely loud music.

One of my favorite things is that they open at 5:00 AM, which makes it easy to get a workout in before work. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the entire facility is consistently clean. I also like the extra amenities, including the sauna, the CrossFit area, and the boxing bags. Overall, it's a well-maintained gym with everything I need, and I'm very happy I joined. When I asked when it would finally be repaired, I received the same response I have been hearing for months: "Maybe in a week or two." I have been given this answer repeatedly for over four months, yet the steam room has never been fixed. The manager also told me that the club had already paid $20,000 to the company responsible for repairing the steam room. However, when I asked him when the company was scheduled to come and complete the repairs, he said he had no idea. Doesn't that sound absurd? If you paid a contractor $20,000, wouldn't you expect to know when they were going to show up and perform the work? It is difficult to believe that anyone would make such a significant payment without receiving a timeline or expected completion date. I asked him directly, "When you paid the repair company, didn't they tell you when they would be coming to fix the steam room?" His response was unconvincing, and his body language suggested that he was uncomfortable with the question. At that moment, I found it hard to believe the explanation I was being given. After hearing the same promises for more than four months with no progress and no clear answers, I am left questioning both the transparency and accountability of the management team. What was even more disappointing was the manager's attitude. In the middle of our conversation, without resolving my question, offering any explanation, or even apologizing for the inconvenience, he simply turned around and walked away, leaving me standing there. After this experience, I now understand why the employees at this location treat customers so poorly--their manager sets the same example. For anyone considering joining this gym, I strongly encourage you to think twice before making your decision.

Warning the classes can be overwhelming to someone new with the loud music and all the different timers and beeping throughout the class. Suggestion to people to focus on the movement more than the timing. Suggestion to BFT to be mindful of the level of the music. There are small lockers to put stuff away. The location is small meaning there are no showers. They have restrooms and a water station and a small instant coffee station. I prefer small classes and this place is super close to me so these issues are not a deal breaker for me. The staff are super nice. They try hard to build a community building new programs to support clients. They are helpful to show one on one how to correctly complete the movement. I don't know about pricing as this is the first time I have ever had to pay for a gym. They are flexible to pause your membership or modify whatever program you are in. I highly suggest to try at least one cardio and one strength classes before committing.
