Cozy coffee shop! And when I say cozy I mean small lol. It's more of a takeout coffee shop, but they are pushing out some good coffee and teas. I met a friend for some early am coffee and had some peppermint tea but was immediately mad that I didn't see what other tea they had. They had about 15 plus varieties of harney and son teas and so many different cold and hot coffee. A must stop buy if you're in the area. Not much room for seating prob about 4-6 persons is a squeeze, and then they have a cute book above for kids. But pretty much a to go spot.

Very cute and cozy ( not much seating definitely more have grabbed and go place). The staff are very welcoming. I think the prices are a bit steep I paid 8.38 for a dirty chai ( almost 9.38 since I had wanted a milk alternative however I couldn't justify the additional dollar). They also sell some cute pottery and baby clothes.

It's the best coffee and pastries you'll find in Brooklyn. my favorite forever the cappuccino with oat milk and the chocolate chip cookies ‍

Iced coffee with oat milk was around $5.50.

I moved to a new spot on Flatbush Avenue at the southern tip of Prospect Park. Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a totally different neighborhood than what I'm used to. Very busy, lots of graffiti, heavy traffic, and so many people. I don't spend much time exploring my street, unless I'm doing laundry. When I first asked the landlady where she goes, she said there's a laundromat across from Loud Baby. That prompted a mission to find it. The coffee shop has a few benches out front and two small tables. Painted black with no sign, it's very easy to miss. Unless you know. After putting my laundry in the machines, I walked back across the street and was pleasantly surprised. It's adorable inside. Brick walls, small seating area in the front, and a two seater high top next to the counter, plus a little staircase up to a reading loft. I ordered an iced cold brew with oat milk and took it upstairs. It does get a little toasty up there so I only stayed for a few minutes, but it was long enough to catch a good vibe. Coffee was great, staff was very friendly, and being the one spot on my block that I've explored and liked, I'll be back. Need to keep checking out recommendations in the area because I'm sure there are plenty more hidden gems like this.

The barista was personable and we had a really great chat about the neighborhood after I was looking at apartments in the area. My iced latte with a hint of vanilla was fabulous, the leek tart was incredible, and the space is so cute!

I am so impressed with this little coffee shop. I think the best little feature is their upstairs loft. Although the shop space is very small, the coffee is incredible as is the service. It's a little further from my house so I can't make it my everyday spot, but I will definitely be back!

Ordered mocha latte with oat milk, best I've had in all my life so far. Shocker, small place, big taste and you can hear your order-taker's smile behind the COVID mask. Picked up a freshly baked, still warm choco croissant said to have just been made by the staff. Lovely. Lightly crisp on the out, pillowy soft on the in, and luscious smooth chocolate in every bite. Note even sure why other coffee places are listed in the area. This is a definite go-to!

Earl Grey and Cherry Blossom Iced Tea

Loud Baby is a very small cafe and I managed to miss twice with my boyfriend while trying to find it. Inside, there are a few seats with tables and a much comfier lounge upstairs. The tables and chairs by the door are quite wobbly and the ac doesn't seem to reach the section. It's cooler closer to the cash register. I ordered the cherry blossom iced tea because I was curious about how it'd taste. It's sweet and I'm still not sure if I like it but it's not bad. Meanwhile, their earl grey tea is very standard. The place has free wifi and I am actually currently writing this review inside the cafe! A downside is that they have no bathrooms available, which is inconvenient for a place that sells drinks. This place is actually a 3.5 but the employees were friendly so I'm bumping it up to a 4.

Gelato

So far no complaints. I've only had the gelato but the flavors we're amazing. This quiet cafe nook has a little bit of everything. They have pastries, baked goods, coffee and tea! They also have really awesome gelato and they sells children's clothes and toys. The flavors that I tried we're pistachio which was very tasty and nutty. The strawberry basil was sweet and had a string pleasant basil taste. And the mint cucumber lemon was refreshing and sweet and delicious. Definitely would go back again!

I was so excited to try this place after reading the glowing reviews. I was definitely disappointed as there is not even a restroom for customers. I tried 3 flavors of the gelato which were tasty although a little pricey compared to the quality served at other establishments. If you're in the area give it a try but I definitely won't go out of my way to return

Small but mighty. Great coffee, staff, and ambience. A much needed oasis in this part of Flatbush. Will definitely go back again.

- I forgot to add, don't get sucked in but the marijuana flavoring. It does not add much.

People have left some odd reviews of this place, including a one-star review for the restaurant…read moreapparently being highly politicized--a vibe I neither felt nor could visually identify within or without the establishment. I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask. I think it's definitely worth checking out, and it's a good place for a cheap & simple meal that's still quirky and fun.

I have wanted to try this spot for some time, and wound up a bit disappointed with what I tried…read more They feature a tahini cold brew, which features two things I love dearly, but instead of a rich cold brew it was overly sweet and icy--more like a slushie. Perhaps I should have anticipated that, or my mistake in ordering. I also ordered a Moroccan egg salad sandwich which was substantive but surprisingly bland--sparse with the advertised capers and pickled red onions to give it more punch. I've always loved the look of the spot and the vibe--funky decor, outside and indoor facing counters to order, with some outdoor seating for people watching on Dekalb or heading nearby Ft. Greene Park. I see they are renovating and rebranding a bit and adding some burger component. While I didn't love it, I'd definitely give it another shot.
