Think exposed brick, natural light especially in the communal table corner left of the entrance, a pop of color from the teal Marzocco, and what looked like a hanging string of pearls from my seat. I love how convenient this location is to the subway; however there were lots of flies in the seating area when I went which was bearable but a tad annoying. I just stopped by to grab a hot drink and a snack before heading to work. I loved the Santa drawn on the sandwich board outside. That is what actually drew me in as well as the outdoor garden: it is so cute. Anyway I ordered a latte and a cardamom cake. The latte was the most perfect one I ever tasted. The cake was an impulse and I am glad it was delicious. I enjoyed seeing the clients working diligently or sitting quietly or meeting with friends. I was really disappointed this morning when to get a decaf latte it was $0.99 more to grind the decaf beans. In the past when I came there was to my knowledge not a surcharge for decaf and also on the menu above the cash register on the back wall lattes are $5 My knowledge none of the cafes that I frequent do this. This cute coffee shop is a lot spacious than I thought it would be. The decor is nice and calming and it's a clean coffee shop. There are seats all along the wall when you walk in and some seating in the back. I ordered a decaf Iced Latte and a banana. The Banana was tasty but to me the iced latte tasted bitter. I took a few sips to really see and then after the fourth one I asked if I could get something else as it really tasted bitter to me. The staff was friendly and accommodating and told me sure. So I saw they had La colombe draft latte on tap so, I got that instead. Soooo much better. Coffee Land offers the usual variety of coffees: lattes, espressos, macchiatos, etc. Their food menu is broken up into breakfast, lunches smoothies and specials. Breakfast includes options such as omelettes egg sandwiches, bagels, açaí and muffins. Lunch consists of tuna sandwiches, avocado toast and salads with grilled chicken. There is ample seating and the music that was playing was rich in 70s. I ordered an iced coffee prepared with oat milk and hit the spot. Coffee Land is located near the Franklin Avenue train station and @8 minute walk to Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Thus if you do not have time or it's heavily crowded at Agi's Counter across the street, Coffee Land is a nice stop for a quick treat. read more

Still delivering good selections and some baristas are more helpful than others. It's a convenient stop and their food is always nice. An amazing local shop that has stopped me from going to Starbucks. They serve La Colombe coffee, which is rich and flavorful. My drinks always taste robust, never watery. The staff are incredibly friendly and recognize me, since I venture in so often. They're also quick to provide coffee accoutrements when they are out, if you ask. They have a loyalty punch card, which I've already completed twice in the past couple months. I believe it's one free drink after a purchase of ten. You also get a free drink on your birthday! During covid, one or two people can sit inside, because they have a huge panel window that opens to the street with stools. There are bakery items and sandwiches, but I've not tried them yet. Might have to rectify that soon! I'm really happy to have this coffee shop in my neighborhood and will continue to support it! read more

Cute place with a fair amount of seating. The service and atmosphere were very pleasant but the latte was definitely mediocre. The milk was way too hot and the coffee tasted a little weak. I think some barista training is needed. I'd give it one more try as it's convenient, especially after the museum, and there aren't many other coffee places around. read more

My favorite local coffee shop in the Franklin Ave area! My go to order is the iced hazelnut latte, would stir it a bit to make sure the flavors are balanced. Every encounter we've had here has been pleasant, and the indoor-outdoor situation during the summertime is delightful for working and people watching at the same time. As everyone has already said, the nitro latte is very cool/creamy (and expensive, at almost $6). Today it was made with oat milk, and while delicious, it wasn't very strong. I'll definitely go back and try a cortado and some of the delicious looking menu options. read more

So I just stopped by Coffee Land to get a tea. I tasted it after adding Sugar and realized it was lukewarm. Ok no big deal so I tell the barista that the water is not hot. He asks me if I am sure!!! I stopped here for a late lunch. I ordered a chai tea with almond milk and a grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese included avocado, tomato, lettuce and onions, along with a side salad. It's a somewhat small space but I've never seen it completely full. There are a bunch of tables with outlets and wifi. I've always found a spot when I go in to work. The coffee is delicious and they have the best grilled cheese with avocado. Staff is super friendly! To the person who was surprised about the delivery fee and paying 20%+ for a tip: 1. This rating is based on the terrible customer experience I had at Coffee Land on 10/20. I placed a pick up brfst order through Grubhub and arrived 20 mins later. I asked someone to check on my order and was told they didn't have any pickup orders. The person then turned around and just continued doing their things. I double checked grubhub app notifications, email and bank transaction and verified the order was placed correctly. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the person who turned his back on me was actually the manager (a man with dark hair and pony tail). Not only he never cared to check the device were the grubhub orders are coming from/connection/printer/clarify my order details etc - he also basically refused to deal with me making it look like it was my fault thus my problem to solve. He literally said I need to place another order if I want to. Zero customer empathy, poor communication skills, zero willingness to assist whatsoever. This is disappointing to see that the customer centered business is run by such management. Fortunately Grubhub care team was quick to respond. They reached out to the restaurant and told him to restart the tablet (duh). Needless to say I was not going to wait longer and take this food or will ever come back. Just be mindful that when you pay money to Coffee Land - you may also be paying to someone to ruin your morning / day. read more

This place is really amazing for food or drinks and the service is phenomenal. They customize for whatever you want and use really quality ingredients. I go here all the time and they have a coffee rewards program which is really cool. My girlfriend gets the ABC on a croissant all the time and I love the everything bagels and lox. read more

Last week, I asked for no egg, this is not the first time they have done this. Usually they will replace the order, which is still inconvenient for me because each time I rushed to work and forgot to check. The owner/manager began a conflicted discussion with me about not bringing the old toast back, after I asked on the phone if they wanted back (never responded). He insisted that I should state that I'm Vegan (SMH). I told him I'm allergic to eggs so what difference does it make, when I have ordered before and asked them if it was Vegan (they said yes, just remove the egg). The customer is right...Why argue when your clearly wrong?!!! Customer service sucks!!!! Plus cross contamination, meat is cut on same cutting board the bread is placed on. read more

The coffee is okay, but if you ask for iced coffee they give you half coffee half milk and refuse to do less milk and more coffee. There are also tiny flies everywhere. The few times I've gotten a bagel, they've burnt it to an absolute crisp and refused to re-do it even though it was completely inedible. This lovely little cafe has charm and ambiance, great pastries and a delicious golden latte as well as really satisfying coffee. The staff, specifically the young lady named Begun, is super kind. The only thing I wish is that it wasn't so unbelievably hot inside. I was there last on a day in February where it had to be in the 80's inside, 40's outside, with the only relief being opening the door wide.
