This one popped up and i'm so glad!! This place has great photo ops and I love the theme. The coffee tasted just like it does back home, absolutely delicious. It was also brought to my attention that they host game nights and other local community engaging activities. Employees were kind. Definitely coming back when I visit my grandparents.

They have a lot of good flavors. I had the Triple Peanut Butter ice cream w/ crushed Oreos on top. My mom had the Mudslide ice cream w/ pecans on top. Both were incredibly good. This place is super cute inside too. They have 4 or 5 tables, and some stools near the front. There was only one person working, but he did a good job getting everyone's order & making everything in fairly good time. I also wasn't in a hurry though. I noticed they had a few take out orders, which is a good idea if you're in a hurry. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors.

They take ice cream, place it on a super cold plate which is likely powered to freeze, spread it out real thin, then use something similiar to a paint scraper or 1 1/2" putty knife and slowly push the ice cream fwd on a freezing plate causing it to roll. They continue to the other side of a the plate making 1 roll. They repeat the process stacking them side by side in a cup till its full and put on toppings to complete the creation. Its really Yum! In today's episode - it's dark still - 4:30-5:00am and I'm stopping at Garcia's Bakery - another…read morewonderful Mexican spot along my route to work. My inability to communicate much outside of a handful of unconjugated words hasn't been a problem at all in my eating and shopping experiences, in point of fact - its quite the opposite. The native tongue will be better one day as I'm interested in learning - I think this is noticed as when I'm fumbling - either a bilingual amigo steps in to voice my intentions or the counter person understands most of what I'm driving at. I didn't get to explore the pastry / bakery side quite yet - but on quick glance I'm seeing what looks to be classic and new taste treat creations. The chorizo was seasoned with wonderful spices of cumin & coriander broken up into nice little crumbles, perfect for tacos, which I ordered two of this morning. I could smell the paprika - no peppers, no onions - meat and eggs and the eggs soaked up the vibrance if the chorizo oil and really balanced these tacos out. What a way to start the day, what a game changer from the gas station foods which I'm not proud to say that I've taken part in the consumption of.

Either way, Rolo's is one of my faves for fast food when I'm in the Riverview area.
